I want to do a combined world of Young Justice and Teen Titans with traces of the X-men...
Three thousand years ago humans were on the verge of extinction due to outright over pillaging of humanity by supernatural beings. This shortage of "food" quickly had Demons, Vampire, and Lycanthrope alike at arms inciting what would later be known as a Holy War.
Two Celestial entities, named The Collector and Grandmaster, omnipotent observers of Earth, foresaw this war and realized no matter who won, humans would lose. Knowing full well they couldn't directly intervene in earthly affair, they made a wager. The Collector would rewrite a portion of humanities DNA, so in time they would evolve via metagene(an opportunistic genetic marker in certain humans that allows them to endure catastrophic physical trauma by developing new abilities--i.e. superpowers) affording themselves protection. And whomever won, earned the right to openly inhabit earth. To give other species a chance at true freedom, this wager would reconvene once every millennium.
Needless to say, humanity has won the last 2 millennia causing the greatest upset in sentient history, To ensure the Grandmaster held up his end of the deal, The Collector cursed each species... One with a weakness to sunlight(vampires)... One's abilities based on the moon phases(Lycan)... Last a weakness to all things Holy (Demons). This caused many supernatural beings to forever hold a grudge against humanity as they were forced to ceased their feed habits among other things. Realizing the only way to circumvent their mortal weakness, would be to conceive with a members of humanity, This too put factions at odds.
Now in the present Karai, an originsl mutate, having lived through both wars, finds solace in solitude but still strikes out as a vigilante should the need ever arise. As of late crime has skyrocketed since being a "super' recently became illegal and the government is calling for their registration forcing many of supers to hang up their capes, register or go on the run. But Karai is not one of them.
I'm looking for 2 or 3 dedicated long term rpers...combat is involved, magic, weapons, guns, high tech all welcome... Slight romance welcome, not needed by any means, heavily teammate oriented...PM me with comments or concerns
