"Well I rule them out because that sector is considered a dead space zone. a spacial anomaly around there does something funny with the ships energy, we still don't know what it is or how it causes it." Walther steps into the elevator and presses a button "Luckily though with the special generator I've outfitted on the ship we're constantly generating energy in a unique way, so EMPs and this anomaly does not affect us very much." The elevator began moving as the doors closed and they were on their way up to the bridge

"Hmmm interesting" she says as she scratches her chin. "Well if not pirates? Who else could be out there?" She asks as she looks at him with a raised brow. Erica in her mind is really interested with the generator, if she can find a way on how it's made and how it works, her ships would be able to escape into those zones and leave any pursuers in the dust making her ships not only fast but also uncatchable, of course no is crazy enough to capture a Dendril ship. "Maybe I'll pay a visit to that generator later" she thought to herself as she continues to look at him. "Of course maybe, the person in distress is unable to identify because of the the strange occurrence on the area, possibly only allowing a small amount of energy to be released only enough to send a very small message?" She says as she thows another possibility at him.

"Well if so then why would they be in a dead space zone in the first place. Everyone knows to avoid them" and quickly he slipped his helmet back on before the elevator door opened and it revealed the bridge. The bridge was an open design, it had the captains area in the center and to it's left was the communications, to it's right was the tactical, and everything else was power, engineering, etcetera. As soon as Walther stepped out of the elevator various crewmen walked up to him giving him the reports on the ship. Walther replied to all of them and stopped in front of his captains console. "Put the transmission through, let us hear it" and like that it was put through, most of it was static only a few words could be heard "Help..... we ar..... enter.... danger...." and it cut out seconds later.

She rolls her eyes as he put his helmet back on. She wrote down all the little details on the bridge in her journal for future reference and the. Returned her attention to the transmission. She hears it and says "Well they could accidentally warp in the dead zone and with all this static it seems this dead zone is either pretty far or there is a lot of stuff blocking the transmission" she looks at him like Sherlock would look at Watson trying to piece the clues together.

Rimmer stepped up to his command area and started pressing at buttons "All crew prepare for departure" and as soon as he finished Walther turned his head and nodded to the helmsman. With a great budge the ship began moving upwards and as it did the hangar bay closed to a completely suctioned lid. "Alright first thing we're going to do is ping the area before we reach the destination see if we need to make an emergency halt afterwards we'll go from there" Walther made his plan very clear to everyone and so he walked around the bridge checking all the panels and stations making corrections as he went along.

Erica understood that if she disappeared to find that special generator, it would be suspicious and so what she decided to do was just to follow him around and keep notes in what he's looking at and what he is doing for all the future references. "Damn this would be easier if you had your mask off" she thought to herself as she followed him around the bridge since she wanted to keep note of his facial patterns. "Does everything seem to be in order?" She asks him as she looks up at him innocently.

Walther nods while still looking at the screens "Yeah everything is fine for now." He turned away from the screens to look at Erica "Well madam, feel free to roam the ship, if you find the generator room, don't touch anything let the engineers do their job I'll be sure to let the crew know who you are" and with that he turned back to the consoles and continued working with everyone else on the ship, telling commands, collaborating with a few, and sending information throughout the ship.

She smiles and turns around and leaves the bridge. Now that she is now left onto her devices, she went ahead started to explore the ship in tending to find this generator. Assuming the ship is standard, she can safely say that generator is either in the back of the ship by the engines or in the middle. Either way she goes ahead starts to explore the vessel she's on.

As Erica left the bridge she would find several rooms for the crewmen and troopers alike as well as a few utility rooms with standard repair and fire safety equipment. As crewmen passed by Erica they nodded and gave a two fingered salute to the forehead. Near the center of the ship the generator could be found, clearly labelled as a dangerous irradiated area and below the label it was recommended that a radiation suit was to be worn. A crewmen stepped beside Erica holding a radiation suit as he wore one of his own "Here is your radiation suit if you wish to go inside" and while all this was happening Walther was on the bridge talking with the crew "I understand we have a citizen on board but the risk of this mission needs to be kept between all of us. Whether this is a distress signal or a reemergence of the sister ship to this one, and to god I hope it isn't"

Under usual circumstances, she could care less about the radiation since she was immune to it, but to make sure she keeps her act she decides to take the radiation suit from te crew member after she says "Thank you" to him. With the suit she went a more private spot to get into it. Being unfamiliar with the suit, she ends up stripping down into her undies and put the suit on. Since the suit was pretty big on her, she was able to bring her journal inside the suit, putting it on hip, being held by her underwear strap. Once she was finished she decides to go into the generator to see what makes it so special...
