Alright, a few years ago I was what I consider a "multi-para" roleplayer. Two paragraphs was short, and three were being lazy for me. Here lately, after I have returned to RP I've noticed that I feel success when I reach the amazing length of...a paragraph and a half. This makes me sad, and I feel as though my writing has greatly suffered during my laps from roleplaying.
I am unhappy with this, and would like to increase my writing abilities again. As a result, I would like to create/join an rp with a 'two paragraph' posting minimum, without a posting maximum. While I prefer a fantasy setting, this roleplay can be any place, time period, or have any setting.
Anyone interested/have any ideas?

Luulu, I used to be in the same boat as yourself, with the exact same concern. But before you sell yourself short, you should ask yourself 'Do I really need to make a two page post'?
You might be writing less, but it could very well be a case of less is more. A glut of words can be as bad as, or worse than, too few, and I've found that spending half an hour typing out 600 words that say <Johnny nodded as he took a drag off his smoke, flicking the the butt into the darkness> tends to slow down the RP and I feel takes away from it.
HOWEVER, that is just my opinion, and doesn't have to mean a damn thing to you personally.

I kind of agree with Jay Bird here, sometimes smaller paragraphs get more done because the other person can respond. I love to make REALLY long posts, but at the same time I've been really clever in my shorter posts, so it's all based on preference.
Oh I agree entirely. In fact, I'm a firm believer that the best way to roleplay is to lengthen your posts appropriately depending on what your character is doing. Sometimes you really do only need one line, especially if you are in a conversation with another character. That being said, I want to do this because I feel that my writing has been suffering. This goes for essay writing as well as story telling. I have a bad habit of over simplifying things and I shouldn't be struggling to get a small description out for something.
This is something I plan on doing as a personal choice. It doesn't mean I'm suddenly going to only and forever make long posts...

I shall volunteer to help you as I too am in the same boat.
Sounds like a roleplay version of NaNoWriMo but with quality in mind! I like this idea, count me in when I have more time.
Alright, that makes three people interested. Lance and Sanne who posted here, and Berserker who messaged me. I'll draft something up for it later today.
Sanne, message me when you are in a position to have more time, if the rp is still going (and I'm sure it will be!) I'll catch you up on what all had happened.

Same here! I wouldn't mind getting in on this!
Alright! I have a base created, it is called "Currently Untitled(Multi-Para roleplay)" and is in the general section. Message me if you have any questions, feel free to post! I'll be making a "first post" with a character later today.
Hi LuLu
I have a plot just about to start up set in High Fantasy..
There is no limit on paras but.. with our crew.. four or five paragraphs is generally the norm, while some prefer one or two. (Some of us go on for a while.. lol )
You are welcome to come along and try it out it with us if you like.
The group is Morthika and the plot should be starting up ASAP (just have to type everything up).
