I have noticed over the last couple years that there is no real way to report characters that have.. shall we say 'missed' the option that marks their pages as mature in some way.
For example I have come across some pages that have highly mature language or gallery items that aren't marked accordingly.
I was thinking perhaps there should be a button on player pages and character profiles that allows one player to report another for lacking that little warning for those of us that aren't wanting to see such things without warning.
Some people are a bit too anxious or easily worried of offending others (Myself included) to approach a fellow player for fear of sounding rude, pushy, or bothersome in some way, so perhaps it'd be best to have an option (Be it button added to the top bar or a drop down option on the messages section) to be placed somewhere that will send the owner of the mature profile a notification that they had missed adding the mature tag for their profile/gallery.
Perhaps have it send them a polite "Your page has been reported as mature and seems to be missing the appropriate filter/tag, please be sure to adjust accordingly!" or similar message and if the player is either reported by multiple people within so many days or have failed to change their information within so many days of the notification an admin is notified to take care of the issue by way of another message to simply adjusting the page themselves?
Sorry for block of text I hope it makes sense

I don't think a button that lets you report to the player directly is a good idea, because not all members fully understand the rules and it can be very easily abused. But a report button that sends a message to the mods going "Hey everyone, I found a profile that's missing a tag, can you check it out?" sounds splendid to me! I think I've asked for this before as well.
In the meantime, you can definitely send a message to any one of the moderators to let them know when a profile is breaking the rules. You won't be bothering them, that's what they're there for after all! They'll take care of it for you.

Well I was thinking of it in a sense of it like directs the 'offending player' to the rules and the section of the site that tells you how such thongs are done.
A bit like an easy and polite 'Hey it looks like you didn't know and so.eone noticed, here is how you do this thing' kind of message, maybe have it only send once a month no matter how often the button is used it only sends the message once. Then if norbing happens after a month an it gets hit again then an admin is notified, sonething of that sort is what I was thinking because yeah, it would be way easy to abuse something like that ^^;

Well ,that's my point -- what if the user didn't break any rules? What if someone just wants to be a butt and annoy others with false reports? What if the user who hits the report button doesn't understand the rules and what is and isn't mature (something that is very common because there are gray areas to consider)?
It just sounds like a whole extra load of work for mods to deal with potential abuse, correcting not one but multiple users for things that they eventually have to deal with anyway. Right now moderators already receive messages from users alerting them to profiles that need a mature mark, and then the mods can check if the profile really does need it, then message the player. The mods also get the chance to elaborate on the rules.
I think a feature like we have with forum posts right now would be the best option for any report button. It gets sent to the moderator area of the site, where a mod can see it and deal with it right away. It's more efficient, no potential for abuse towards the offending user, and if nothing is wrong and nothing needs fixing, the user will never know they were 'targeted' for a potential correction.

Putting in my two cents as a current moderator!
Right now our features for reporting don't let the offending party know they were targeted unless we contact them, and as far as I'm concerned, a similar system for profiles should follow the same logic.
A user being able to click a button that points the offending party to the rules feels way too much like backseat modding. I'd rather y'all report to us, and we can take the appropriate actions to let a user know they broke a rule. Cleaner, easier, and yes, less chance of abuse!

It's definitely time to expand the moderator tools in a number of places. Any button would report to the mods, not to the user -- we get almost equal numbers of mistaken reports as we do ones that need action, such as people who have forgotten they have checked all the "I am comfortable seeing..." boxes. But even in those cases, being able to explain what's happening and how to better control the content they see is still a valuable use of mod time. Not so much for the targeted member, though!
