I'm looking for a nation builder. Nothing Historical please! Sci-fi is preferred, but I'll take fanatasy, if that's all you've got for me.

One other thing. I'm not looking for a "Ghost in The Machine" style nation RP, were you build a nation through a single character, but instead, I would like an RP were you play as the nation.

That sounds interesting... did you have a more specific way you wanted it to be played, as in, just governments as a whole or NPCs in cities as well?

All the ones I've played in write "Logs" to update every day, so as a the government, I guess. With some input from the leader occassainly.

I'm interested in this if it's still open.

Hello all! I'm sorry that I've neglected this topic. I was actually checking around to see if there were any active nation RPs, but seeing as some people who are interested in this, I wouldn't be opposed to building one.

The hardest part will be the story, which may take some time.

I tried telling people about a nation building RP, but zero people responded. I know a community where you can RP all aspects of your nation from the government to sports and trade or whatever else you can think of... Making policies. They even have a forum designed as a fake social media site where citizens of the world speak their minds..

You can write logs called a factbook, where people can read about your nation. But there are also forums and interaction. I wanted to get a community here that was into nation building and might want to build a nation on the other site too... It's worth looking up if you want to build a nation. PM me, because I don't want to spam this forum with a link...

It's freeform and always packed with pages full of RP choices. It's much less annoying than the slow, turn-based games where you have to email one person your weekly moves. You will be in charge of what you do. It also feels like less of a game and more of a project. But you can play games with it if you want. It's worth looking into if you really want to build a nation.

I have about 5 nations right now, all interacting with each other. News articles are another fun thing you can do.. Also, groups and alliances form. I started the Order of the Purple Cross, which is an aid organization like the Red Cross.
