I don't know about you, but I want some action--sword-fighting, daggers, bow-and-arrows, whatever you want to use.

I've got a sword-fighter, Arien, looking for a sparring match--so feel free to drop your characters on him (in the Fantasy thread "A Simple Misunderstanding"). It can be straight-forward challenge or a surprise attack--I welcome all of it. All I ask is that you try not to kill him (wounds are fine though).

So...surely Arien isn't the ONLY character who wants to be the best swordsman in the world?

sadly I retired my weaponmaster, Santhis... Aka Rudianos in my profiles. He lived for that. And pain. :x

Aww, you retired your weaponmaster? Some characters like pain...or at least learn better from it. Although looking at his profile, he might have schooled Arien some in fighting. I like his title: "the Principle of Pain". Very eloquent.

..yeah, funny, i was just typing on my laptop updating old profiles. rudianos was gonna be next. the one problem is it's very hard to tutor under him. His race makes him naturally opposed to human thinking, even 'evil'. That which is radiant, bright and living is as nauseating to him as, say, a giant pile of rot and airborne death. He survives on negative emotion and destruction, and will either strike down a foe he considers dangerous, or torturously toy with that which stood no chance to begin with. Beauty really is death. An infant might as well be an allergen to him, so he simply destroys it. :x even evil people tend to go "uhhh" at the principles he teaches. @_@ i'm his writer and he makes my skin crawl. It'd have to be private cuz of mature content and i cant do that on rpr mobile. If you're really interested i could make a private facebook group? If you're still interested. O_o

uh, i also just realized i forgot to mark rudi for mature content... And i can't mobile. Erk. Will fix asap.

In that case, Arien would be spouting rainbows and sunshine all the day long in comparison to Rudianos. I don't think he'd last a blink of an eye against him--that much evil...*shudders* Arien likes to have fun and pull pranks--so he'd probably be gutted before Rudianos triggered a snare!

Unfortunately, I think I'll have to pass on the RP. I just don't think Arien could withstand him without an entire army of goodness, sunshine, rainbows, et al, behind him. xD

Maybe some other characters...who maybe can stand to be in the same room with each other...would work better.

yeah. Rudianos is odd, I kinda locked him away in my thinkybox and hope I never have excuse to use him again, if that makes sense. But he did too much to just leave with a fetid old profile so... Update time.

Funny how some characters are like that. Especially the really evil characters that you look at and wonder how in the world you came up with them. Although I think these characters already exist, they just happen to find me and make me write their story. xD

I do have one question--who defeated Rudianos in the end?

collective effort. He fused into a transient apocalyptic abomination with his mentor... And tried to use the multiplanar world tree road zenthus had erected. When merging through to the nexus, a weak point in the kabbalistic tree, and into szurane on the opposite end, multiple worlds staved it off. draevals offices, played by runix, for example, were used as bases. Gabriel by loki blessed the waters to stop siege by sea. The wilds had their defenses and so on. A few worlds teamed up to bind them into central locations, then counteracted by passiveness, ironically. Even zenthus stood against it, and he created him, so. ...everybody?

oh well. You were interested in rafe and your angel, right? Where would you prefer to play it? Im steady but slow here, i post easier on facebook where i can just hide a group for it. since i'm, like, always mobile. I can even facebook on slow work days by phone.

Haha, "everyone"--that's hilarious. You sure put a lot of thought into all that. I'd still be lost back at "some sort of travel pathway between dimensions" or some such, let alone figuring out the fall of Rudianos.

Sounds like quite a story to write!

well, i ran an rp for about a decade. solid world, story, etc. Crysta, for example, is from early age szurane, loki and rubix are late age, and maximus rped through the whole thing. A lot of people just divided from time. But basically he was built as a final boss when everyone expected id do so with zenthus, probably. :x

Wow, I'm really impressed. You have stamina AND foresight. I'm the type of writer who just writes by the seat of my pants. If I know where it's going, that helps. But darned if I don't know HOW to get there. *stabs a certain novel been working on for the past 6 years*

honestly i already miss playing zenthus, even if i retired him so story could have resolution. Now i'm stuck in a rut of figuring out what he'd be planning in any alternate cycles that won't have a chance to mess up what happened. I'm... Very particular with how to use someone like him. He's best suited either dark lording or becoming friends with the right noble. not much -to- do anymore. He's so much on my mind i drew my favorite of him yet and need to upload.

Lance--yay! New challengers always welcomed! Besides, with a name like that, I'd expect you to have some sort of raging battle-machine character to toss my way.

Minerva--those kinds of characters are really tough--especially if they need a particular niche to fall into. I should draw up my characters--but sadly I have no artistic ability except by tracing or free-handing what someone else has already drawn. On my own...yeah-no. >_<
