This could be interesting, even if Yorick would also not have much to lose with the zombie apocalypse. Maybe he could be working with Jack? Or maybe he could keep in touch with my witch character (Mary Collins) and alert her to strange things going on with the dead?

That could work. I think Yorick would be casual acquaintances with both Jack and Mary, perhaps he earns his, er, not living, by running small errands for the two of them. A quick grave robbery here, a friendly trip to the post house for a missed package there, you know? Probably would have the clerk screaming the first couple of times. I would also argue that Yorick prefers talking with living people rather than to drooling zombies.

@GGFreak: Hmm, I don't think him being an acquaintance of Jack would be plausible, at least not in those terms - Jack himself would probably love meeting Yorick, though- but I can totally seem him doing that sort of thing for Mary Collins! She could occasionally him to collect alchemical ingredients for her potions, so as to avoid having to explain her absence to her family and to buy protective anti-wasp clothing. Her part of the storyline will mostly start in a small town in Maine, and a few of Gamers' and Ink's characters will also hang out there.

Alternatively, you could always use Professor Mackay. That could certainly be interesting!

Sure thing, I was mostly just throwing out some quick thoughts I had about this. Mackay could definitely work too, and he would have a lot more at stake. Still, I haven't gotten a good chance to play Yorick yet, so I'd prefer using him. And Yorick can end up almost anywhere after a hundred years or so of strolling about, so Maine sounds good.

Well, quite a few of us are using a bunch of characters at the same time, so I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem, haha. We're also having a bunch of scientists running around - probably at least two- so it could be interesting if the Professor joins the mix.

True, but I'm still rather new on this site, so I wanna keep it too one character too. Still, things are subject to change, both on which character I'm gonna use, and whether I just use both.

I actually thought about doing it in the WW2 era at first, actually! But then I changed it to the early 2000s because nobody does that anyway, and I like to be obscure.
...then again, nobody said Nazis were just from the 40s.

Would it be plausible for Drake to be in an assignment in Mother Russia or Finland? I dunno, you'll have to chat with Reima over that, but it could be interesting to have y'all military folks also start snooping around as Jack wreaks havoc on the military.

I am interested as well. I have two characters in mind, "Draken Iter" using his Semi-Future form, and The Darkened to play as in it's Avatar, possibly to help Jack with his scheme, seeing that he's a necromancer and all.
