This is my first time so I don't really know what to do, but let's go kill a dragon!
As Bodrik walked into the Beast Masters guild deep in the heart of the small city of Crown he was puzzled. Usually groups of people were drinking heavily or talking about what monster the guild had sent them after last but this was not the case today. A large group was standing in front of the job board, their eyes stapled open and most of their mouths a gape. Some were whispering, some were taking about how nervous they were but Bodrik didn't have too much time for this so he headed to to the Guildmasters Office.
"I killed that Basalisk in near Greylock, bounty was Two thousand five hundred..." Bodrik placed a large sack on the desk with a thud, but the Large bearded Human Guildmaster didn't look up from his writing he just placed the bag of gold on the desk which Bodrik took and left. "Why is everyone acting so weird?" He asked himself.
Heading back downstairs a few had left the job board so the Dwarf moseyed over and took a look. This was when his Jaw dropped as well, "a.... A dragon?" Dragons were mostly dead, and if their were ancestors of them, they would be too far north over the Great Sea to bother anyone. "How did an adult white dragon get here... Is this a prank???" The Dragon was as south as south got, in the Frostbite Forest, with a bounty of thirty thousand gold!

Nick happened to be near by when he heard this, and also saw all of the people gawking at the board. He looked over the dwarf and say the bounty for the dragon. "THIRTY THOUSAND!?" He yelled. "Wow," he thought to himself, he'd never seen a bounty so high, then again, he never really frequented this guild. Most of his time was spent chasing down thieves, thugs, and the occasional minor undead.
Just looking at the price made him feel faint. The lights grew dark, he could feel himself losing consciousness. He collapsed into the ground, face first.

Bodrik turned and kicked the boy in the gut, he instantly recegnized this guy as Nick. The kid came in here to use the guild bar and steal guild contracts. "Nick get out of Guild Hall! This is for Beastmaster's Guild members only, you won't receive the bounty unless your a member of the Beastmaster's... I thought you learn your lesson last time with the Undead Contract near the Village of Phi!"
Nick got up, "sorry Bodrik, but the bounty's are so much higher here," he replied,"And those undead didn't beat me! I merely accidently broke the gates open for them. Did people get hurt? Sure...but at finished all of them off!" Nick was still salty that after all the work the bounty was withheld from him. "However, this time I have everything I need. I just need to pick something that won't kill half a villiage." Nick looked back at the board.
Bodrik was very annoyed, "What I meant was you don't receive money for taking these contracts unless your a guild member... And your not so get out of here." Bodrik helped the kid off the floor, "now get out, go hunt criminals or something... Leave the beast hunting to the masters." And Bodrik tossed him out of the Guildhall!
Nick looked over his shoulder to make sure Bodrik had left. He reached into his coat and pulled out a flyer from the board,"haha fool never saw it coming." He chuckled to himself,"next step is to get a membership card." He looked around and saw a man heading to the beast slayer guild hall. He stood up and waited for the man to pass before reaching into the mans pockets and stealing his membership certificate. "Now then which flyer did I nab?" He looked down at the flyer and saw the job for the dragon."well, it's not in a populated area so no problems there... I'll probably have to spend some time in the lab for some kind of poison to kill, but that shouldn't be to hard." He started walking off, hoping to escape before that dwarf Bodrik or some other member showed up.
As Nick began to walk away from the guild Bodrik peaked out the window, "yeah, I sent him north with that fake flyer." Turning back he sat down with the guilds strongest Members, "the flyer he got reads Young Green Dragon hiding in the Forest of Crowns to the north of Crown." Bodrik didn't hate the kid, actually Nicks father Tankard had been a member of the guild and died fighting a long electric monster known as a Behir and made Bodrik promise him never to let his son join because it was too dangerous.
"Tankard who knew your son would be such a trouble maker, but hopefully the real dragon will be slain by the time the brat figures out the flyer he stole was a fake." Tankard had been one of Bodrik's best friends about fifteen years ago but now that he was gone Bodrik kept an eye on Nick... Usually. "So who is actually coming to slay the White Dragon with me?"
A halfling rogue raised her hand, "alright there's one," Bodrik said. Then a young human Wizard, "there's two... And I'm three!" Most others shied away, but the guild master himself came out and raised a hand, I'll go with ya, it's been too long since I faced a real challenge like a real Dragon! Will shall cover my absence, won't you? A high elf nodded and the group began to pack, Bodrik grabbed the real flyer and smiled. "Have fun in the northern forests Nick, we head South."
Your Flyer Says:
Green Dragon: 30,000 Bounty
A Green Dragon has been sighted in the Northern Autumn Forests of Crowns, a lush Fall time get away, just stay away from Mt. Healm. If you reach the demonic mountain you have gone too far.
Guild Members only, if you aren't a member of the Beast Masters Guild and haven't signed onto the contract officially the Guild is not obligated to pay you any of the reward money.
For information on joining, talk to Guild Master Issac Baer ((The address of the Crown Guild Hall is on there as well as the Guild Hall in two other Northern Ciy Locations.))

Nick looked over the flyer again as he was mixing the chemicals for a highly potent poison. He realized that it was quite different from the one before. He knew for sure that the dragon on the other one said "white dragon." He wasn't sure if this was just another seperate flyer, but he had an idea of what was going on. Though most of the time Nick acts like an idiot, he is actually quite intelligent. Spending weeks on end studying chemicals does that to a person. This was not the first time Bodrik had done something like this.
"Well played Bodrick," he inwardly monolougued,"but I'm on to you." He took the flask off the burner and added it to his inventory of explosives and other useful materials, and ran out the door. Nicks strong point was finding people and never losing them. He concentrated the magic stored in his right eye and ran back to the Guild. There he found the remnants of Bodriks footprints, as well as...two others. Nick followed behind the footprints out of the area being careful to stay far enough behind them that they wouldn't notice him, yet close enough that the trail wouldn't be run over by someone else.

Bodrik checked out the window as packing finished up and Nick was standing outside. "Oh for the love of Pantheon...." But Nick did not enter, no he seemed to be studying the ground. Now he began walking west, "what is that kid up to," after a quick drink at the Guild Bar the group headed south. Threw the small city of Crown and out the southern entrance. It was Bodrik the Arcane Archer, Brooke the Halfling Rogue, Vince the Human Wizard, and Issac the Werebear/Human Fighter. The group was a strong one but would they be a match for a White Dragon?
@Nick- You follow the footprints of a dwarf for a while, you are very intelligent but Wise you do not seem to be. Based on the fact you are not a ranger you follow the west for about a day or two till you find yourself in the village of Phosphorus. The Dwarf was a farmer and the two others were a human and a half elf, the human was his wife and the half elf was his brother in law. They work a small farm on the boarder of Phosphorus, what would you like to do now? Walk two days home, Ask around about a dragon, give up and live the life of a hippy, try to find a green dragon that probably doesn't exist????

(I was just having trouble seeing how the story would progress if I walked in the opposite direction, I'll)
Realizing that there's no way Bodrik could have pulled off that slight of hand, Nick decided to instead travel North not follow his footprints. It was a long hike through crevasses and plains. He eventually made it to the edge of a forest overlooked by a giant looking mountain. He used the same magic that had earlier helped him find those footprints in an attempt to find the dragon he was after. The Autumn Forest is a peculiar forest, as it is in a state of never ending Autumn. This magical effect has lead to the most to think that elves or some other magical beings resided around here. Nick postulated that the dragon could potentially be the cause.

A traveler heading through the first waves, as he head through the Forst of Crowns. It has now been a Week since you last saw Bodrik, "greeting human," the elf says. "Need any merchandise today?"
"I'm afraid that I don't need anything at the moment, however, have you seen anything strange in the parts" Nick replied
The elf thinks, "no I don't suppose I have, but I have heard some rumors... That's why I am journeying south!"
"South what's so interesting about the south?" Nick wondered what could possibly be so interesting that an elf would would be interested.
"Merchants and warriors from all over are heading towards the Frostbite forest, merchants are going to the city of Crown and the Warriors head into the forest." The merchant smiled, "it's the first time in over five hundred years there is a Dragon in ELICOR!"
"Oh snap Bodrik," Nick thought, "Not only did you double trick me with a fake flyer that I thought was fake, but you managed to switch with a farmer, but it is also 'really fake'" Nick face palmed himself. He thought things over for a while, he needed a way to travel half the continent in a short amount of time. If he could catch up, he might be able to see some action before they killed the thing. Then he looked back at the elf,"do you by any chance have a magic carpet or a port key by any chance?"
"Half the continent? We're two days north of Crown... But I do have some magic I could sell you depending on your gold. I'll sell you a Dimension Door Nob for 300 Gold, if you promise to preach about the Wood Elves Wears everywhere you go... If not it will cost you 500 gold."
((Roll a 1D4 and that will be your gold. If you roll a 1 you have 100, if you roll 2 you have 200 and so on and so on.))
