Thuds could be heard as Vallus took step after step towards his destination. This titan of a man was going to pass right beside Nick and Bodrik. His black steel great sword and his black steel shield held tight in both his arms. His great sword was wielded with only one hand which allowed for the shield to be wielded, and this is what showed Vallus's might. His armor which gave off a copper coated resonance was actually the same metal as his weapon and shield so this allowed for greater protection. His head was entirely covered by his helmet and none of his face could be seen. His walk was slow and his stature was frightening to most if not all people.

"Yeah sure Bodrik, that sounds fine." Nick waved to the passing stranger as they continued on their Journey back. "Anyways, how many wizards are there back at the guild?" He was still looking at the passerbies massive sword. It was obviously compensating for something. *wink* *wink* *nudge* at Bodrik.

Rienshill
The White Dragon rested piecefully at the top of one of the mountains in the Arctic Expanse. An egg left long long ago hatched at the bottom of the world, exploring humans and elves found it and attacked out of fear. Ever since then Rienshill had been attacking hunting parties who venture this far south into the icy lands but since then he had a new taste for blood and has been venturing farther and farther north. The group heard a roar as the Dragon roar before it fell silent for the night. Hidden in the Expanse somewhere....

Bodrik couldn't make jokes right now he just watched the man walk by. "That roar was closer then it was last night... I'm going to get some rest." Issac and Brook were both asleep, "in the morning I'll track down its position, and you can help me if you don't try to attack it right off the bat." And with that Bodrik went to sleep.

As the titanic armored man walked past them the shield engraving could be seen more clearly as the dragon head that it was. He did not belong to a clan, or a guild, instead he wandered around conquering all beasts that he could find. This time Vallus was hunting down the dragon that had been spotted and he was well and ready to fight. The air around Vallus felt full of Malice and war hungry. There was no calming of this spirit, not with reason.

Bodrik Sharp
Morning comes early as the dragons war awakens Bodrik, he sees Nick fast asleep. He had forgotten to wake Bodrik or Issac but that didn't matter. Nothing happened to them and it's not like burglars came into the southern tundra of the Arctic Expanse. "Issac wake up," Bodrik looked around. From the morning snow, a small squad of Elven Soldiers painted the forest floor red as they walked through. "How many?" Bodrik asked, "How many of your men did the Dragon take?" But the elves said nothing. "Nick wake up..." A dozen others in the distance all walking away from the same dragon. They couldn't do it, they couldn't kill Rienshill... So how many would Bodrik have to find, how many would it take to stop this devil of ice and snow?"

Issac Frostfang
"I'm taking Brooke back," he said coming out of the only tent. "She is awake for now and days she can walk... Now is the time to move, but you. You should stay, it doesn't matter how many you bring. Either the Dragon will kill all of us and leave you alone, or kill you and let your spirit go on." Issac stopped, "but if anyone can do it... You can." Issac knew Bodrik lied to Nick, sure their Wizard did the most damage to it but Bodrik hit the most times. His accuracy would be the reason the dragon was brought down. "Find that tank, the fat human in the armor, if he is as strong as he looks then he can take the most hits while you hit it with the most damage... You can do this Bodrik."

"Just five more minutes..." Sheep prancing about...oo that's lovely....ah a dragon killed them. Wait...dragon? No couldn't be what was I doing again? Watching... Watching...a dragon?"AH I FELL ASLEEP!!!" Nick shot up to and saw the surprised looks on Bodriks and Isaac's faces. "I didn't fall asleep...I just..." Nick scratched the back of his head and looked around. He tried to think of something to hide his blunder. "So that dude with the giant sword though."

The titan came dashing from behind the elves and slammed the ground with his great sword, a cloud of dirt and dust filling the air around them. As the cloud cleared the titans sword was lodged into the back of one elf on the ground as the others were scattered about laying down from the shear force. Vallus stood up leaving his great sword lodged into the ground turning towards Bodrik "It was no dragon that took the elves lives." his low and smoky voice boomed "It was me that desolated their forces." Strapping his shield with the dragon head engraving onto his back he stood tall in front of Bodrik over taking him with size. "I am Vallus, wandering knight, or so I let the people call me"

Nixk looked at the man, He hadn't spent much time studying wildlife, but He thought that the head on this man's shield was no dragon head. Probably some basilisk or kobold. "And you killed those guys why?"

Bodrik angled an arrow up and shot an arrow of Fire into the man's face. "Calm down heavy weight." He looked to Issac who understood, grabbing Brooke the man pulled out a crystal. Crushing the gem in his hand he and the halfling vanish, teleported back to the Guild Hall. It was obvious that the elves had fought the dragon, first was the scars from the dragons breath across most of their bodies as well as the adventurers, second was the fact that none of them had Sword wounds but dragon marks. This guy must be coming up his pride, but slaying members of the Royal Elven army weren't the way to do that. The elves ruled everything... And then it clicked, Vallus the Dishonored. A knight of Elicor who had disgraced the kingdom so bad he was cast out and began killing elven Warriors for revenge.

"Nick this guy has a Royal bounty on his head, that means anyone can collect it... 10,000 Gold pieces," Bodrik watched as the Elves ran, but not running away, running into position. It was time to hunt and ugly armored mad man. "Bodrik fired another arrow, this one was Acid and it began melting the man's helmet off.

"Oooo convicts, now this I can handle!" Nick dashed forward at Vallus and struck the weak points in the armor, the joints. No armor cover up this fatal flaw completely, and all it took was a well aimed and powered strike. However, Nick didn't have time for a knife strike to someone this deadly, he pulled from his bag an explosive enchanted to stick to the first thing it touches after leaving his hand. This he threw straight at the Giants knee joint after lighting it.

Vallus tore the arrows out of his helmet, grabbed his shield and sprinted forward at a mad speed leaping and slamming the shield down in front of Bodrik and swinging the shield upward to smack Bodrik back, after which he made a quick lunge to his great sword and plucked it right out of the ground,holding his shield in front of him. "Du Gahn!" and with his shout he spun around clearing out the elves trying to get at him from behind. His shield was always in front of him keeping his torso and half of his helmet defended at all times "The dragon is my prize!" he shouted

The explosive Vallus ignored went off, tearing open a hole in Vallus' armor and shooting shrapnel into his leg.

Vallus laughed and glanced behind him "I'm wanted for a reason boy" and as he said this his armor around the damaged area shimmered before returning to a state of near perfection "I use illegal magics provided to me in combat, and I hunt game, that's what makes me so dangerous" The term illegal magics made sense of his speed and his black steel armor. He stepped backwards with one leg and swung his sword down into the ground and pulling himself to give him a running start as he slammed his shield into Nick's body.

The Giants helmet removed by acid it was an easy shot, right into the face of the giant knight Vallus. "Head shot..." Bodrik said as the dishonored Knights head fell to the ground.

((Trolls get stitches, no trolling.))

"Oi Bodrik! I had him!" He looked at the hole in the armor,"gah I wasted a shot on nothing..."

((Choose a character who can play nice. Vallus is dead... In this story.))

Bodrik sighed, "if you had him then you should have killed him before he killed the second Elven soldier..." The elves began to clap and one handed him a metal saying, I assume you are from Crown being a member of the beast masters guild... Venture a week north of Crown to Westhaven and the reward for killing Vallus will be yours. The elves regrouped and headed back to Crown their their two dead comrades along with the head of Vallus. At least one enemy died today, "come on Nick... Enough distractions, we head south for the dragon."
