I wan to make a character for normal romance kinda rp (without fantasy and stuff), but I don't know how she should be, or what her background story would be like..

How do you find inspiration to your characters? Is it from movies you watch or? I'm curious x3

For me I find it in books and video games, but thats all I do. I might base some things on myself or a friend as well, like name or personality

I usually, when running a scenario or character in my head, sit back with a notepad or word document open and listen to music that I think suits.

Then it's easy for me to see things, almost like a soundtrack to my thoughts. And just start writing what the character looks like, how they act, their background, etcetera. It can literally be anything from a paragraph or two, or a simple list of information.

But yeah, a lot of inspiration for me comes from RPGs and music.
