The day had only newly broken over the horizon. The king sat in his throne awaiting aid. The dragons had destroyed his kingdom and he was in dire need of support. Who was to come?
Selekir Terindal was one to answer his call. He rode to the city on a tall white horse, and left it at the stables, which were nothing special. He made his way to the gate, a tall oak wooden door reinforced with steel and studded with iron. The guards allowed him to pass, he entered a stair style city. Meaning there were levels. On the first level was on the groun level, with the homes of peasants and the poor. Above that were those who had made a decent life, and taverns of the same fortune. Above that stood houses of great wealth, with the nobles and wealthy merchants. One more level was Castle Searis. This was like this all around, and the walls stood so high as to defend the 3rd level and below. Selekir would make his way to the castle as the rest would today, then the hunt would begin.

*hope sat on the stump of a tree whistling a lighthearted tune* *when she saw a man riding on a white horse she fallowed after him her pet mouse squkeing*
Merrick strolls through the filthy lower streets, kicking back beggars as he begins to ascend one of the various walkways to the top of the city where the royalty resided. He made it to the 2nd level and stopped to take a rest, the fact that he was carrying all his gear on his back had worn him down quickly. As he sits he looks out over the city and the massive walls. He chuckles to himself as he stands back up, thinking about the king's face when he realized his walls weren't enough to keep out flying beasts.
(The rest of you can join in whenever.)
The elven man made his way through the street passing beggars and peasants, he made his way up the second level. A courier of the Kings men, garbed in the leather armor of the runners and archers, covered by a purple backed golden lion, the crest that was on each of the kings man, and the stamdards of the city.
"The king asks for all the men who answered his call to come to his stead tonight at sundown. Might you be Selekir Terindal, elven archmage of the University of Vadiral?"
"Indeed, who might you be in search of me good sir?"
"I am a runner of the kingsmen, and I must be off. Good day and may the gods protect you."
The man ran off to find the rest of the heroes, and Selekir, much like the man made his way out of that spot. He went around the circle of homes finding a tavern, named the Golden Lion, after the kings seal. He pushed the doors open and was greeted with a lively atmosphere, the tavern smelled of cooking meats and drunk men. Selekir strode over to the bar and sat down, and had a drink from the man there. Losing 10 pieces that day for a drink, a drink of ale.

Scirye had traveled a long way to answer the king's call, but what of her motives? Was she really there to protect the king, or was she after something else. The only gear she had, besides her leather armour which makes people wonder how much it really protects, was a small leather bag and a falchion.
She had finally made it to the gates. She walked through and started heading up the levels toward the castle.

*hope trailed up too the third level hideing behind the others secretly listening*
Dredger walks through the ground level in a strict stride, face obscured by a full face helmet and his one hand idly resting on the tip of his saber's hilt. Glaring behind the tinted glasses, the militant cultist clad in red marches right on, heading for the second level while adjusting the hunk of heated metal that is his left, lower arm, securing the warm blade lodged inside it.
Making it to the second level after some more wandering the lower district, Dredger glances about and rolls his shoulders.

The elf finished his drink and stepped out of the building, and made his way through the street past the vendors and merchants Highland City is famous for. Once through the trade street he headed up the walkway to the 3rd level, where pompous merchants looked and snorted at warriors and mages, and anyone lower than them.
At this same time the men of the king ran around the city finding Dregder, Scirye, and Merrick. Each says the same thing to the heroes, "The king called upon you hero, and asks for you in Castle Searis at sundown today."

* she waited intensely for the right moment her yellow eyes glowing like a dull star*
Merrick walks about idly after receiving the message from one of the king's messengers. He strolls around the outskirts of the castle and through the town while he waits, chatting with locals and guards. Finally, once the sun begins to set he makes his way to the castle, waiting outside for anyone, the king's men, the other hunters, anyone. He hops up on a small stone wall, and hums to himself, watching the blood-red sun sink into the horizon.
(New order, Me, arrow, float, guardian, and freak i will break it just to start it only now)
The sun was now nearly gone from sight, melting away. Selekir strode to the castle seated above everything else. It stood upon a circular base of stone, which rose towards a building on top which stood high and proud. This building was rectangular, the fromt door facing the front gate. The roof was slanted from the bottom, slightly lower than the ceiling and it met above the building. Intricate patterns were carved at the base of the roof, depicting dragons and ocean. It looked like an ancient home, except larger because it was. It did not have grandeur and greatness about it as did the 3rd floor homes, the castle stood still strongly to this day, and so it stayed simple and old. Selekir made his way to this place and looked upon it, guards stood in the way of the door, and upon a balcony in the roof. Some patrolled the outside of the castle. These guards were sheets of mail under heavy plate, and the kings crest upon a tabard. Selekir awaited the others upon the stairs that led to the castle.

as hope did know that if she whent up to the third level herself she would shurely be caught so as she carefully snuck in deeper and deeper before putting on a duscuise as a fair maden with long blond hair and peach like skin as she strolled up to the king and bowed before his presence
(The guards would have waited for the group to assemble, then a page would come get us)
Merrick makes anothe round around the castle, before returning to the entrance. Once there he sees another man, an elf, waiting upon the stairs. He starts walkibg towards him and waves quickly. "Ho there! Are you here to meet with the king, my friend?"
Scirye finally made it to the castle stairs. She surveyed the castle, as well as the two men in front of her. She doesn't always like people, so she stayed behind them and listened.
The cultist squints at the guards, unbeknownst to them, as they lead him up to the castle itself, taking in every detail, noting every way leading to a dead end as they walk. A quick glance to the newly arrived night skies, and Dredger moves onwards to the front gate, keeping his military march without an apparent hint of exhaustion, stopping on the stairs of the castles and turning back to look over the route he just took. Dredger reaches the top of the stairs, still looking back, and immediately risks crashing into a green-eyed lady. He starts flailing a little as he tries to take a step back to avoid the accidental tackle, balancing one foot on the edge of the top step of the stairs.
((Sorry about taking so long, life got a bit in the way.))

(Don't worry about it my dude.)
The wizard swiveled in his spot and turned to greet the man. "Indeed sir. Might I be correct in presuming your task is much the same as mine?" The wizard returned his question and smiled as the question rolled from his tongue in his crisp low voice. He scanned the area behind himself and his new company to see if more were on their way. "As well as my previous one I have another question being: Do you know if any more warriors are here in our quest?"
Hope was pushed back by the guards and one explained. "No one meets with the king 'til tomorrow. Unless you have his permission."
