She sat there. Emily sat and hummed to herself, old bandages adorned her face, covering the scars. The 7 year old fiddled with her night gown, swinging her slippered feet as she sat alone on the bench. It looked like she was just waiting for her mother or father, no one really questioned why there was an obviously injured child all alone, singing to herself silently.

As she made her way to school, since she'd already missed the bus, Efrix turned her head towards a girl who sat alone, humming to herself. With wonder, she looked around, pondering at why no-one would help this poor child. Before she could question it further, the urge to help made her come forward to the girl inquiringly. Efrix tilted her head with inquiry and worrisome.
"Hi. You're injured, I can help you." Said she, holding the straps of her backpack.
