Heyyy, I'm Dot.
So anyways, I just joined RP Repository April 17th and I'm already having a blast. I love the roleplay forums that the people here have and they have some pretty good roleplayers so far, that I've roleplayed with. I have a few friends here that I've known for a long time. I have my sister and my brother then there's another friend who's awesome.

Anyway, I found out about this site from my brother and thought 'Hey! Why not give the Forum RP site a try?' to myself, because frankly, I never enjoyed plotted roleplays, which was mostly what forum roleplays were as I'd experienced when I tried to make accounts on other places underage.

I've been roleplaying since I was about nine years old and I enjoy it a lot. Although, I've grown to be a picky roleplayer over the years. I'm kinda forcing myself out of that habit and becoming open to any kind of roleplayers. I particularly enjoy Fantasy, Sci-fi and Modern or Medieval, as well as Futuristic.
You could call me a generalist roleplayer if you want. That's what I'd consider myself. I'll roleplay just about anything.
But, with being young and all, I cannot go into deep romance, such as sexuality. Though I'm fine with gore, violence and excessive swearing--deep romance is not amongst them.



Well, since I've been roleplaying since I was nine... I would have been roleplaying for four to five years. But in some of that time, I was writing and was too busy with that to roleplay. So I hadn't roleplayed for months at a time. Plus, I had a rather stressful move, but in the end, it was all worth it and I'm a much happier person than I ever was.
Honestly, I enjoy the outdoors a lot. So I'm either outside doing some crazy shit, or I'm inside doing some other crazy shit. I'm a random, crazy, humorous and loyal as well as trustworthy person and love to make friends.
(Beware: If you're private chatting with me, you're likely to see a lot of swearing...)



Oh, I do all kinds of things. I write fantasies and dream about crazy things. I am a literature artist, traditional artist and a digital artist. I love to draw and am inspired by Bob Ross's many painting techniques, I recently made an oil painting of mountains. If you'd like to see my artwork, go to my profile and see the link to them.

I love to read books a lot, when I have the time and when I don't have my hands glued to the keyboard for writing my own book. My preferred genre of books would be young adult fantasy/sci-fi series or adult fantasy/sci-fi series. One of my favorite adult fantasies is the Night Angel Trilogy. Now, that series was a good one. My favorite young adult series are Beyonders, Fablehaven, Overworlds, Artemis Fowl.
I personally don't like the way Rick Rioridan writes. He gives me reading fatigue and his chapter names are utterly annoying, as well as his constant cliffhangers.

I think it is really admirable that you are trying to get out of your comfort zone and try new genres when it comes to RP. Have you had any pleasant surprises so far?

OH and hey, while I'm thinking of it, you have joined at the perfect time. Our 6th birthday celebration is coming up in just one week! We're so excited about it there's a big countdown on the community page. Every year, there's a week of games and contests and prizes starting on April 24th, so I really hope you'll be able to join us for that too!

Thank you very much! I'm actually already having a lot of fun. RP is a real comforting thing for me, so I thought I should try to get more comfortable with other genres.

Pleasant surprises so far? Oh, well, actually... a few, now that I think of it. Honestly, I'm surprised at how well the roleplayers actually roleplay and communicate with my characters, whereas a lot of the what I would call 'lousy and inexperienced' roleplayers did this crappy script roleplay that I particularly can't stand unless it's OOC and you're just making quick actions, like hugging someone or kissing them on the cheek--things like that.

I'd love to join you guys for the 6th birthday of RPR. Frankly, this site is growing on my hands with as much I've been typing up here. Letter after letter, word after word, paragraph after paragraph...
I do have one question though. Is there going to be a certain place on the forums you guys are hosting like, a RPR birthday party or something? If so, I'd like not to make a mistake and accidentally NOT celebrate the 6th birthday of RPR.

I've observed that everyone is pretty chill and cool with everything around here as long as you follow the rules, so, I think I'm fitting in a little better than I was expecting, to be frank.

There will be a few different official topics devoted to the various contests or games going on, but there will also be a central page that organizes all that information for you. You'll see the new section link appear in our top navigation menu during the event, and also a big banner on the community page. Probably also some reminders in sidebars all around the site -- If you're online at all that week, it should be pretty hard to miss!

Glad to see you're enjoying the site so far You don't seem to be a huge fan of forum RP, but if you and your RP partner are on at the same time, you can use the 'launch chat' button to turn the forum into a real time chat It's pretty awesome. Since I got here, I've actually started to enjoy the forums a lot. But I've also been using the 'LAUNCH CHAT' button as well. Both are comfortable and easy to use.
