Alright, here's my final entry. >D Thanks everyone!

Okay, I'm finally done. Coloring is not my forte, because photoshop confused me, so I normally draw, scan, then redraw on MS Paint...haha so lame. I might try to add another entry before times up, but work is not allowing me much time. I also added a picture of what she is supposed to be. Red Panda's for the win, blame Avatar: Legend of Korra. (Even though it's a fire ferret )

Is it a 1920's gangster, or will it be an alien in a smoking playing at 007? I don't know yet, but I'd better find out quickly, because I'm going on vacation on Thursday (no Photoshop and no tablet access) and won't be back until the deadline.

Hmmm.... maybe I should roll for this with the fancy new dice system.

EDIT: ... darn. I liked the gangster idea more. *sneakily goes with that*

AWESOME NEWS. I have Gimp now! I'm going to be re-drawing my alien girl (fixin' her pose), and then coloring her digitally! Time to fix my one entry! x3

art is a good de-stresser. Here is my fixed mascot entry! If the traditional one is better, go for it, but I figured digital might help better. And since I have Gimp, I can do cool stuff like transparent backgrounds.

Phew! Made it before going on vacation. The shading is rather rushed. I might fix it and edit this post if I get back home in time on Sunday, but otherwise, this is my entry! I guess I went with the "History" genre again like last year.

I'm glad that my first work with Gimp like that was an alien. I didn't have to worry about perfect human proportions because she's an alien! She doesn't' have to have the right sizes for various parts of anatomy. It was good not to be like 'THIS LOOKS NOTHING LIKE A HUMAN '
