Iris was walking through the deserted city. There were more and more of these popping up because of the war rocking the world. Nuclear this, nuclear that...it was how Iris came to be the eyesore she was. But she found herself pretty damn goodlooking! She would look for what she could salvage. Food, water, clothes. Whatever was around to snitch, she looked for. There were gangs that could be found in cities like this, so she was on edge and wary, but walked with a bit of a strut. After all, she was tough stuff!

The white haired male walked through the streets, his long cloak covering his body, and his wide brimmed hat obscuring his face. He moved through the street like one would walk a forest path, slowly and caciously.

Iris heard the footsteps before she saw the stranger. She ducked back behind a crumbled building, peering out and around to see who she was dealing with. She smirked. Oh, it was just one person. Easy. She came out from hiding and sauntered over. "You know, this isn't the kind of place you just walk around alone." She held out a hand expectantly. "Fork it up. Whatcha got on ya?"

The man blinked at her, looking honestly perplexed. Then his face took on a 'whaaaat?" look.

"Seriously? That's the best you got?" He shifted a bit, his cloak floating around him a little.

Iris smirked slightly. "Nah, but I don't waste the good ones when I don't need to. C'mon now, give it over. Gotta make a living." She wiggled her fingers. "Besides, you can't be here without having some trouble. It'd be bad for my reputation." She smirked.

Zero looked at her, his eyes narrowing a bit... Then he smirked.

"No."

His arms folded and he shifted on his feet, looking at her.

Iris blinked in surprise. Well, that was unusual. She grinned. "Okay. Sorry, man. Your own fault!" She took a few steps towards him and swung a punch at him. Nothing too hard, she didn't expect him to really put up much of a fight.

Her fist collided with his jaw, and the overall thud was heard. It was like punching a tree with skin, and it hurt. Zero grinned a bit, using a finger to push her arm away.

"If you punch someone, try to act like you mean it."

Then he sent his knee into her gut. And this he was puting a good amount of force behind.

Iris wasn't expecting for her hand to feel so pained when it hit his face. "O...ow!! What the hell?!" She pulled back, rubbing her sore knuckles. When that knee came towards her though she dodged to the side and took a couple steps back. "I wasn't expecting to punch a brick wall!"

He chuckled, following the kick with another punch.

"Your loss." He rushed her, his fist going to her gut. This was too easy. Why was he fighting? he didn't need much reason.

Iris would duck the punch and frown. Okay, if he was going to play this, she'd pull the big guns. She hocked up a big wad of spit in her mouth, then spat right at his feet. Whatever it touched was instantly gluey and stuck.

As he rushed at her, she jumped back and moved to block the punch.

Zero flatlined, hitting the dirt as his foot stuck tot he ground. he pushed up confused, then looked at the girl. With a grin he slammed his fist into the ground next to his foot, and the rock shattered, freeing it. he jumped up, his cloak billowing aorund him.

"Hello my little freakazoid..." He said, rolling his shoulders with an audible crack. Then he rushed her, even faster, zig zaggging to avoid getting hit.

Iris laughed outright when he spoke to her. "I'M the freakazoid? You're not even human! No human can feel like a brick wall." She stood still as he rushed her, zigzagging around, and she just focused. She waited until he got close enough, then she ducked, dipped and twirled and sent a flying kick out as she gave a twirl. It may hit, it might not. But it could at least put some distance between them again.

"You just made sure I'd never kiss you. All i can say is sucks to be you."

he cancled the attack, leaning into a more relaxed stance.

"Why are we fighting anyways?"

Iris laughed lightly. "Kissin' is over-rated." She blinked when he stopped the attack and asked about their fight, then laughed outright. "I think it was for your money. But y'know, I don't think I care that much for it. Not when you're such a hard hit. Good fight, y'know."

"I would have to agree, although I like a good fight this one seems a bit pointless now."

With a slightly perverted grin he gave her a once over.

"So if kissing is over rated what do you prefer?"

Iris laughed a bit. "Pointless fights are boring. I like fighting for something, even if it's a stupid something." When he spoke, she snickered. "That's for me to know, and you to never find out, eh?" She smirked at him and then would look around. "So what brings you to this miserable area?"
