Adamantium basically never has an effect on powers. Almost never, ever. I say that's part of this thing. *chews on talons*
We've tried that and all its alloys.
did we try Primary Adamantium?
Carbonadium?
Hmm I didn't.
Yes I did that mori
True Adamantium
Also known as Primary Adamantium, this is an attempt at the recreation of Proto-Adamantium. This is the Adamantium present in Wolverine. It is nearly as strong/durable, but unlike Proto Adamantium, Primary Adamantium is possible to be reproduced. Only beings with godlike powers (such as Rune King Thor) or with strong magnetic powers (like Magneto)[14] can manipulate Primary Adamantium. Otherwise, it is completely indestructible to all forms of attack. Being this strong, it is very rare and expensive to create/manipulate and is top secret in the US government, though it has shared it with some of their "allies". Once liquid Adamantium cools and hardens, it can never be manipulated again.[15]

I'll add Primary and True to the list
Hmm maybe. We have done proto
"As rare as the material it's known for." That's the key. Hrrrrng.
Uru?
Adam Ant Steel (Earth-9047)
In Earth-9047 ("the Humorverse"), Adamantium is referred as "Adam Ant Steel" or "Amantheants." It is indestructible and was used for the skeleton of Woof'r'eam.[citation needed]

Adamantium Allotropes
Serafina claims that Adamantium has thirteen allotropes, all of which are "unstable, and short-lived, but virulently poisonous". She throws a small device that clamps onto Wolverine's claws and makes them glow green, claiming that it is "adamantium nine". This causes Wolverine to become stricken, incoherent and collapse.[20]

Did that allotropes one
But not adamantium nine
"A material used to keep mutations in check. Or sometimes cause them, when things go wrong."
i've been thinking about what this could mean in relation to x-men, if it's NOT adamantium, and i'm wondering if it could just be referring to DNA? but then i'm not sure where to go from there.

maybe...but I think one of the clues said it had to do with Wolverine
It has to do with wolverine.
Do you reckon we'll get another clue if we get 1000 seeds for Fantasy?
Plus the clue "The character most synonymous with this material was not the first to use it" doesn't allow for a lot of leeway here. Wolverine is synonymous with the material.
