I do still think this has multiple parts. Clue 1 mentions a material as do Clue 2 and 3, but the first Hint only mentions the material of Clue 1... might be paying too much attention to wording though

Clue 1 Answer: A Material, Clue 2 Answer: A character, Clue 3 Answer: Something just as rare as the material is is known for

yeah the thing with this is, we take one clue and run with it. when all the clues add up to it answer, like the GoT one it was something all three of those have in common.
