A "hellish pair" and "distinguishing features" also might indicate the demons' eye colors! We know of black-eyed demons, yellow-eyed, and white-eyed. Most demons have black eyes and Lilith (?) had white eyes. I'm not a huge Supernatural fan though so I don't remember the name of THE yellow-eyed demon--was it Azazel?
