@Kim: How many seeds must be planted to get a plant? Is it random?

Varies. I think that might actually be a glitch.

You have a chance to get a plant every time you plant a seed.

@Bones - Random. Roughly 1 in 4 seeds result in plants, sometimes 1 in 3.

@Penholder - If you have any seed pods, click on any section of the forest and scroll to the bottom to find the "plant seeds" buttons. This works even if there are monsters in the way.

If I plant them all at once rather than one-by-one, is there a difference?
