They eat seeds when seeds have been planted so we want to eliminate them quickly.

@Michonne -- Planting seeds in any section of the forest gives you a random chance at getting a medicinal plant, which is the only way to clear status effects like poison or blight. So, very important! But, the better planted an area is, the stronger a forest guardian becomes.

Unfortunately, kudzu monsters will eat planted seeds every round, if they're allowed to live.

and monsters only respawn when people guess correctly on the seals?

Scifi tree is safe for now.

Monsters respawn every hour on the hour, or when a correct answer is guessed.
