Well, my coworker actually started with the customer. She's not the brightest person in the store, which only made the incident worse. She was scanning some calendar refills on the register. The refills were on sale for 5 kroner(about 1 dollar), and because my coworker didn't pay attention to the register, she scanned them for 0,30 kroner. My boss, standing just behind her, told her to restart the register and then type in the correct prices, which had to be put in manually. As she was doing this, the customer flipped on her, because she say the other price at the register. My boss then explained the problems with the register, but the costumer was having none of it, and suddenly started complaining about not getting the refills for 0,30 and for the birthday card to be 12,95 and not the actual price of 16,95(what's the deal with this lady!?).
My boss then just tried to get the whole thing over with, but then the lady really wanted to nitpick the receipt, and she started trashtalking. I then left the register area, because I knew my boss is like a chihuahua and would tear the lady apart verbally. She ended up asking the lady to leave the store, still trying to keep her cool, and then the lady screamed up about what terrible customer service she had received, as she walked out on the streets. My boss then ran after her, but I didn't hear what happened outside.

Then your boss asserted her dominance in a Dbz style death match, and the world was made better for it.

Yes, he was an entry by Wizard in the mascot contest a few years back. It actually wasn't a winning entry for one simple reason -- he would have had to be put dead center front row, or else some character or other was covering one of his halves and the joke was lost, it just looked like a regular horse facing the wrong way for some reason.

Still, the entry was so good I contacted Wizard and requested to be allowed to simply purchase the design for our page not found error messages. Wizard liked that idea so much he refused monetary payment and instead requested a pretty rock. Which I gave him.

The worst part is how tinny she is.

That customer sounds like a nightmare, wow. Clearly she's been taught that being loud will get her her way. :

@Pen: I know a friend who's like your boss. He's sweet as can be at work until you get rude. Then he tells you what for. Ironically, he owns a chihuahua.
