@Kim Does the items go to anyone, or only the online users? Or is there some smart way so that they only goes to the people who's involved?

To players who are fighting I believe.

They only go to users actively browsing the site during the event.

So basically, people who are online but don't care about and aren't paying attention to the event can get the weapons people are tossing and they'll put them on display or just leave it in their inventory, never to be used.
