Arien smiled back at her, his eyes soft. "I'm glad."

And then with a reluctant groan, he sat up. He really didn't want to move; he would have preferred to stay where he was indefinitely, but food wouldn't prepare itself, and their destination was fairly important.

He rubbed his hand down her arm, stopping when he reached her hand and drew it towards him. He kissed her palm, even as he checked it for the black poison marks.

Red blushed slightly and smiled. Holding the blanket to her, she sat up and kissed Arien's cheek.
"Well lets get dressed then. If your in such a hurry," Red said in a playfull tone.

The black veins had moved a little since the last time. Red had to stretch over Arien's lap to get her clothes and she grabbed Arien's clothes while she was at it.

Arien grinned and traced a heart on Red's back when she leaned over him, and then reached for his clothes as well.

He made quick work of getting dressed, before flopping out of the tent and going to his pack. What he didn't count on was being assaulted by a wet and overly friendly Bella.

"Gah! Bella, off! Off!" he yelled as the wolf tackled him over.

Finally, he managed to regain his feet. It'd be a cold breakfast today, so they could make better time. For the tigers and wolf he tossed them cold chunks of hard meat and then pulled out bread and cheese for both him and Red; and then waited for her to emerge from the tent.

Red shuddered as Arien traced a heart on her back then got dressed soon after him. Pulling her hair up and tieing it in a messy ponytail.

She walked out of the tent a few minutes later and sat next to Arien. Smiling she pet Bella and looked at Arien afterwards.
"So breakfast then?" she asked.

Arien grinned and handed her the bread and cheese. "I know it's meager, but we'll stop periodically for lunch. And we'll make excellent time since you want to travel across the world. Still game?"

Bella had devoured her breakfast already and was lingering around, knowing that they were travelling again.

"It doesnt bother me. And of course im still game!" Red said with a small laugh.
She playfully shoved Arien lightly and ate her breakfast quickly. When she was finished, she stood up. Walking over to the tent, she made sure everything was packed in her rucksack then hoisted it up onto her shoulders.
"Ready?" she asked Arien, smiling.

Arien swayed and then poked her back in the side, before scarfing down his breakfast. He waited for Red to gather her stuff before he rolled up the tent and then packed it as well.

"Yep, I'm ready," he replied, hoisting his pack onto his shoulders. It felt like a flashback to a memory, but Red was far cheerier than he remembered his other companion being. He grinned. "Let us embark."

Red took the lead this time, hopping with energy. Even though that last night was quite the energy drainer as much fun as it was. Red blushed at the memory of last night and grinned. She looked back at Arien and waited for him to catch up.


The sun was high in the sky by time Red started to get hungry.
"Can we stop for lunch now?" she asked.
As if pleading as well her stomach growled.

Arien followed at a more sedate pace, pacing himself for once instead of taking off like per usual. He shook his head, watching Red scamper about. She had so much energy and he loved it. She was definitely the woman for him.

He laughed when she finally asked him for lunch. "Yes, we can eat now. I thought you'd never ask."

He set his pack down with a sigh and stretched. "Food's at the top, if you want to grab it. It'll be more bread, but meat as well as cheese." He rolled his shoulders, loosening up his muscles.

Red quickly got ahold of the food and set about preparing small sandwhiches for her and Arien. She set up a fire and warmed up some meat for the animals before handing it to them.
She handed Arien his sandwhich and made quick work of hers.
"We can ride the tigers you know. Cut the time in half," Red suggested.

Arien had half finished his sandwich and nearly choked at the prospect. He swallowed, and glanced at the tigers, then at Red.

"Ride the tigers? They can do that? Will they let us?" He was stunned at the idea--even if he had half-ridden one before. He finished his sandwich.

Bella stretched out, one ear tuned to Arien, ready to set out when he did.

Red looked at Arien in alarm as it looked like he was gonna choke. Then she smiled and had to try not to laugh.
"Of course they would. Otherwise i wouldnt have suggested it," Red said softly as she leaned over and got close enough to kiss him then pulled away. She was teasing Arien again and she smirked.
Standing up she walked over to her two tigers and told them the plans.

Arien grinned and followed her over to the tigers, making sure that the fire was out and their campsite was left the way they'd found it.

"Alright, so...Nex, Neo, are you up for it?"

Nex stood up and stretched then nudged Neo. Reluctantly Neo stood up and waited, rather impatiently.
"Neo may be blind but he can run faster than Nex and he is alot better at dodging obstacles," Red informed Arien before petting Neo than sittig on his back.
"Make sure to hold on to their scruffs," Red said looking back at Arien, then holding tightly onto Neo's thick fur at the scruff of his neck.

Nex padded over to Arien and waited expectantly for him to get on.

Looking surprisingly nervous, Arien gingerly swung his leg over the tiger. He gave a gentle pat. "Good boy, Nex. Thank you." And then he gripped Nex's scruff tightly. "Bella--heel!"

The wolf pricked her ears up, and then tensed. She was ready to go when the tigers were.

Neo took off at a half speed run as soon as Arien had gotten on Nex. Red closed her eyes and whispered something in Neo's ear.
Neo turned his head back to Nex then smirked and took off at full speed.
Nex saw the challenge in Neo's smirk and read it in his thoughts. He took off just brarely after Arien got on--full speed.

Red laughed with joy and urged Neo on.

Arien let out a slightly undignified yell as Nex took off. And by undignified, he meant a womanly-sounding screech. He clung tightly to Nex, practically lying flat and muttering the words "don't fall off, don't fall off" over and over again.

Bella sprang forward in pursuit, tail wagging enthusiastically. She had grabbed Patch just before they took off, and she carried him now by his scruff.

Red laughed at Arien's screech then looked back at him.

With in a few hours they reached the town Arien was talking about. Red stopped the tigers a mile away from the town so they wouldnt spook people.
"Arien. We're here," Red said then slipped off Neo's back.

Arien only had time to register the 'here' part and that Nex had stopped, and then he slid off the tiger. He wished he could say he had landed gracefully on his feet as Red had, but that would have been sorely wrong.

He wound up on his butt, his legs were sore from clinging to the tiger, and he wasn't exactly sure of where he was. "Uh...right." He struggled to his feet as Bella trotted up to him and deposited Patch on the ground. "Town...already. Um, let's get supplies and then a room for tonight, and we can set out again in the morning. Though if we travel like that every night, we just might get across the world in no time."

Red looked at Arien with sympathy.
"Dont worry you eventually get used to it," she murmured since she was right next to him.
Red kissed him lightly on the cheek. Walking into town she looked around for an inn and found one.
"Lets get a room first. Im sure the tigers are exhausted. And we can get supplies in the morning right?" Red asked and smiled at Arien.
