Arien sighed as his brothers sat down around the fire. Darien grinned at Red. "You might wanna be careful of how you speak, considering I could burn whatever you're trying to cook." He then glanced at Ralen. "Ralen, get us some herbs."

Ralen nodded. "Sure thing, Darien." He didn't move though. Instead he closed his eyes and concentrated. A few minutes passed as some plants began to float towards him and then land in his lap. He looked down at the plants and leafed through them. "Wish I knew what a herb was."

Arien scowled. "You guys are a joke, you know that, right? What good is all that power if you can't do anything useful with it?"

"Says the one with no powers," muttered Zane, holding up a sphere of water. "You should treat those with more power with more respect--you never know what might happen otherwise."

Arien glared at them. "You're the ones who hunted me down, not the other way around."

"You would do well to not underestimate me. Especially since you have no idea what im capable of," Red snapped before getting up.

Red walked away from the camp site. Not too terribly far away, there was a small river. Red put her hands in and washed the blood off of them. Looking in the reflection of the water, she realized she didnt look that well. Her body still showed signs of the recent battle that took place. The days without food and sleep had left her looking thinner and tired.
No wonder they dont see me as a threat.. she though to herself before standing up.

Walking back to camp, she grabbed her sword and motioned for Nex to follow her into the woods. Which he did quickly, but before Red left she kissed Arien softly.
"I'll be back," she murmured.

Arien frowned and put his hand to her shoulder. "Where...?" he began then stopped himself. "Be careful. I'll try to take care of things here."

He saw his brothers rise as Red left. "You three can stay here." He said, pointing at the deer meat. "I thought you were hungry after all."

His brothers grinned and shrugged. "You'd think we wouldn't eat before we ventured out?" Ralen came over to put a hand to Arien's shoulder. "Aww, our brother cares after all."

Arien scowled and jerked his shoulder free. "You don't know what you're doing. Or who you're dealing with," he started, and then gasped as cold water drenched him from above.

Zane shrugged. "We don't care what you think of us, Arien. We never did. Nor did we care for you. But father seems to think you've got yourself in trouble. So we're here to spirit you away."

"I told you, I can take care of myself."

Ralen, having barely missed being drenched, leaned close to Arien's ear. "She has secrets, Arien. Deep, dark secrets. You can't keep her forever." He pulled away, looking at Arien.

Darien stood with his arms crossed. "He's too love-blind to heed our warnings. Tie him up and we'll go see Red for ourselves."

Arien struggled as suddenly he found himself pinned to the ground with rope being bound around his wrists and ankles. "I'm not letting you get away with this!" he hollered after their fleeing forms--as they pursued Red.

Nex and her had found a nice clearing.
"Ok. I need to train and your here to help me do it. Nex come at me," Red ordered.

Nex braced himself then charge a her full speed, before jumping with his claws extended. Red fell on her back and caught Nex in the stomach with her feet. Using every ounce of strength she still had, she threw him off. Before Red could get up again, Nex pounced from a different direction, Red rolled with him as he barreled into her. Red managed to throw him off again and he fell several feet from her. Red was panting from the effort and sat down to get some strength back.
"Timeout," she panted at Nex and Nex gladly sat down.

Neo heard all the commotion and walked back into camp. He heard Arien struggling with something and walked over to him.

Arien already had a dagger out and was cutting through the rope. "Damn it, Neo...go find Red. I don't think my brothers mean harm, but I can't be sure."

He finally freed himself and sprinted in the direction he'd seen Red and his brothers go.

The sound of slow clapping could be heard in the clearing as Darien stepped out, flanked by Ralen and Zane. "Not bad for someone who's been incapacitated for a short time. Taking on a tiger..." Darien shook his head. "Anyway, we don't have a lot of time before Arien comes after us, so I'll make this easy: you should leave Arien alone. He's not your type and you're going to be the death of him."

Red stood up quickly and scowled.
"Why dont you stay out of me and Arien's buisness? I love your brother and im not leaving him. So stay out of it," she growled before motioning for Nex to follow as she started back towards camp.

Neo took off with Arien on his back. In only a minute they reached the edge of the clearing. Neo could sense Nex's ruffled fur, meaning something had gone down.

Red might have got back to camp had not a sudden torrent of water cut off her immediate path. Behind her, a flicker of fire danced precariously close to Nex's tail. Only Ralen stood with his arms crossed.

"You don't understand." Said Ralen. "Our father saw that you, or something attached to you, would bring about Arien's downfall. We can't just leave you two alone."

Arien clung to Neo's back and sensed the wrongness too. "This really isn't good... You guys don't know who you're messing with!"

Nex whisked his tail away and turned around. His fur bristled and he bared his fangs, which had grown several inches longer.
Red balled her hands into fists and tried to control herself. After taking a deep breath, Red composed herself enough to turn around. Before Darien could blink, Red was in front of him.
"Then help us. If your so worried about it. Then help us," Red growled.

Neo ran over to his brother and stood beside him. Neo bared his fangs as well.

Arien had scrambled off Neo and was advancing on Ralen. "Would you three knock it off already? We're already in the middle of something and you're making it worse."

Darien flinched and what little space there was between Red and himself heated up to an uncomfortable temperature. "First off, we're not worried. Second, make it worth my while to help you."

Ralen sighed and Zane allowed the sudden river to dissipate. "Alright, fine." said Ralen. "We are brothers after all. If it's help they need, we ought to at least try to hear them out."

Zane merely frowned, watching Red and Darien. If a cloud happened to be forming above them, it was only in preparation of putting out the fire before it could begin.

Red didnt like being this close to any other man except Arien, so she stepped away and walked over to Nex. Scratching him behind the ear, calmed him and his fangs returned to normal size. However, he did not let down his guard.

Red looked at Arien and smiled. Arien always helped her calm down and she sat on Nex's back.
"Well let me put it this way. Ash is trieing to kill me and she will kill anyone who gets in her way. There plain and simple," Red said in an icy tone towards Arien's brothers.

Neo went and stood next to Arien, warily keeping watch over his brothers.

"So?" Arien demanded of his brothers. "See? We've got it under control--"

Darien burst out laughing. "Your girlfriend is a hoot, Arien. I mean, really, you're trying to protect her?" He paused to wipe his eyes. "I mean, come on, Arien, what do you think you can do to protect her? You couldn't even protect yourself or mother."

Arien glared at Darien and advanced on him. "Take that back, right now!" His hand fell to the hilt at his side, ready to draw it and spill blood. Brothers or no, this was going too far.

"And how do you think we feel?" Ralen interrupted."You upped and left us."

"You disowned me first!" Arien yelled and started to draw his sword. He let go of it suddenly with a yelp as it heated up and he glared at Darien.

"Hey, if you can protect yourself, then go ahead and try to protect Red. But don't go making promises you can't keep." Ralen said as suddenly a length of vine began to coil around Red.

Red's bangs covered her eyes and she clenched her jaw. Dark air radiated off Red in waves.

"Shit! Now you've gone and done it!" Nex growled and gently put Red on the ground before fleeing over to his brother.

Suddenly the dark waves became visible and the vines withered that had been coiling around Red. Standing up, Red suddenly disappeared. Before anyone could see or react, she kicked Darien in the chest, hard enough to break several bones and send him flying.

As soon as the dark air appeared, it disappeared and Red staggered on her feet. Her bangs still covered her eyes, so no one could see her eyes wide in disbelief what just happened.

Darien fetched up against some tree or other, for the moment out cold.

Ralen snickered and waved. "Actually, that was me. But interesting trick you have there." He released his power on the vines as soon as they had withered--and suddenly found himself being tackled to the ground by Arien. He blocked the first punch, missed on the second, and then focused on wrapping Arien's cloak around his face.

Zane took a few steps back, eyes wide at the chaos around him. His gaze flickered briefly to the tigers and he raised his hands in surrender. "I'm willing to help--not fight."

Arien threw another couple of punches before ripping his cloak off and trying to pin Ralen down with it. "You're no good if you all three can't work together, that's why you're stuck as a group. And for your information, we can take care of ourselves."

Red fell to her hands and knees. Nex knew what would happen next since it happened the last time. Rushing forward, he blocked Red from Arien's view so he wouldnt freak out. R

Red started coughing and coughed up a little blood before she could finally stand again. That power ate away at her body everytime she used it, but luckily she was fine after an hour or so. Red was paler than usual and a little dizzy but she managed to stand up.

Her gaze flickered over to Zane and she walked over.
"Dont tell Arien what you saw. Understand?" Red said, a slight plead in her voice.
Zane had been in full view of Red's coughing fit.

Neo ran over to Arien and pushed him off of Ralen.
"Arien calm down!" he hissed.

Zane had started towards Red when she had begun coughing--though he'd stopped when he saw the protective stance of the tiger. Once she'd recovered though, he nodded.

"I won't tell him. Does that happen every time you use your ability?" He held his hand out to her, cupping a small sphere of water in his palm. "You should probably drink something though." He indicated the water bubble--which would hold intact until Red drank it.

Darien stirred slightly, regaining consciousness. The tree behind him dissolved into ash, consumed by a fire that seemed to emanate from him. "Ouch, I didn't even do anything."

Arien glared down at Ralen, his hands still closed tightly around his brother's shirt. "Now will you stop this?"

Ralen sighed and nodded. "Fine. You've made your point." He waited until Arien had climbed off him before flicking his hand--a twig sailed across the short distance to smack Arien upside the head. "You should probably check on your girlfriend though. She and Zane are talking."

Red looked at him warily then relaxed a little and took the water bubble. Drinking the water then she looked at him with less hostility than before.
"Thank you. Yea it does. It eats away at my body, thats why i cough up blood afterwards," Red informed him.

Nex stayed close to Red and Neo stayed with Arien.

Red turned to Darien, hostility in her gaze. "Yea well i dislike you the most," growled Red before stalking away from Zane.

"Well, that's not good," Zane replied. He formed another water bubble and lobbed it at Darien. "Shut up, already. You had your ass handed to you by a girl."

"And you-" muttered Darien, "surrendered before putting up a fight."

Zane shrugged. "It's called strategy, because I'd rather remain in one piece particularly since someone's life's at stake."

Arien rubbed his head as Ralen got to his feet again. "So, are you going to help us? Or just hinder us? Because right now Darien is close to being tiger food."

"I'll just roast 'em from the inside," came Darien's response. Arien shot a glare at the eldest brother in time to see a torrent of water descend on him.

"Not if you're soaking wet," Zane called.

Arien sighed. "Well, we're leaving anyway. Good bye." He grabbed his cloak and headed after Red.

"Shit." Red muttered as she felt another coughing fit coming.

Neo sensed her distress and tackled Arien so to distract him as Nex shoved Red into the trees.

Red got several feet into the woods before a coughing fit overtook her. Nex stayed by her side and waited until she stopped coughing before pushing her back towards the clearing.

Red walked out of the woods and Neo was sitting on Arien. It was pretty comicaland Red wouldve laughed if she wasnt feeling so bad at the moment.

"Well if your going to help us then you better decide now. Because im not waiting forever for your response," Red said to the brothers, with hostility but not as strong as before.

Arien struggled as Neo came out of nowhere to tackle him. "Bell--Neo? What the hell? Get off! You're nowhere near as light as Bella!" Arien struggled, glaring at Darien as he did so, and then--to his horror--the weight was lifted off him. Well, not lifted off, per se, but gone. Instantaneously.

He sighed as he heard two gasps and a groan from his brothers. Damn, he'd wanted to keep his ability secret. He was on his feet, at least, just a few feet from Darien and his non-existent tree.

Darien's face lit up. "So our brother does have an ability. Welcome back to the family, Arien."

Arien aimed a kick at Darien's leg and earned a whimper from him. Before looking around for Red. "Red? What was that about?" He glared at Neo. "And you, don't do that again--you could have squashed me flat."

Neo was grinning then he flicked his tail in a dismissive way.

Red wiped off the blood on her lip and shrugged.
"No idea what got into him," she said nonchalantly then smiled.

Red turned and started walking back to camp.
"Lets get going. Im tired and its getting dark," she said as she was walking away.
Freezing only a second later when a familar voice spoke.

"Oh you all should be comedians and entertainers. Especially you Red. Hiding what your power does to you after you use it. I mean one person already knows, why not just tell the love of your life?" Ash said, smirking evilly.
"Oh and by the way. I owe you something," Ash said before flashing in front of Red.
Pulling back her arm, she slammed her fist into Red's stomach. Red doubled over and started coughing. Ash bent down next to her, and smirked.
"You see when you kicked me into that tree, it hurt. Alot," Ash said, suddenly her voice turning cold.
