Arien caught her before she could fall and hurt herself. "No, no, it's fine; take your time and rest." He glared at Zane for disturbing them, even as Red took care of contacting Neo.

Zane shrugged. "What? Hey, don't shoot the messenger--I'm just the messenger." He held his hands up in surrender.

Suddenly a couple of cries went up from the campfire and roasted deer as no doubt the rest of Arien's brothers reacted to the presence of a very large, blind tiger stealing their meal from them. Arien grinned. "I wish I could see their faces."

Zane snickered, too. "I'm just glad I wasn't on the receiving end of that tackle. I'd've been squashed like a tree on a squirrel."

Red held onto Arien and nodded. Then laughed as she heard Arien's brothers.

Neo came trotting back through the forest to the new campfire. Setting down the deer, he sat with his tail curled around his paws.
They complain like a bunch of girls.. Neo sent the thought to everyone around him.

Arien and Zane laughed, though Zane had to look twice at the tiger to realize that it was actually telepathic.

"Y-you can talk!" he exclaimed before looking at Red and Arien. "Who taught you?

Arien shook his head as he went to the deer and began to slice bits of meat from it. He didn't bother to look up when Ralen and Darien arrived, out of breath.

"Guys--you're not going to believe this, but a tiger..." There was a pause as Ralen and Darien saw said tiger, and then the deer, and then Arien. "Stealing our deer," Ralen finished. "Never mind."

Zane grinned. "The tiger thinks you two are a bunch of girls." He yelped as Darien flicked a spark at him, followed by a sudden rain of dust courtesy of Ralen.

Arien finished cutting the meat out and then returned to Red's side, handing her some to eat. He shook his head at his brother's antics. "They might be older, but in some ways they're still unworldly."

"I taught them," Red replied quietly.

She watched as the other two came and then smiled as they went on about a tiger. When they had realized that Neo was actually that tiger. Neo was already walking away, his fur bristling. Red coughed as some of the dust floated on the breeze to her.

Red smiled at Arien and ate the meat rather quickly.
"They act like five year olds," Red replied to Arien.
Smiling, she leaned into Arien. Then a thought came to her and sighed. "They didnt bring back the tent..did they?" she murmured.

Arien grinned and shook his head. "They can't help it; they've been given everything they ever wanted, hardly having to work for it. Some of us had to try a little hard to get by in life."

He raised his voice. "Ralen, can you at least fetch us our tent? Red shouldn't move for a while longer. And then you guys can leave since you found me. Sound good?"

Zane kept an eye on the tiger, intrigued by the creature. While Ralen and Darien crossed their arms.

"We bailed you guys out of a sticky situation and now you want us to leave? What kind of hospitality is that?" Darien demanded.

Ralen shrugged. "Well, we don't have a tent and it is getting late, so we should head back to town if we want some place to stay. That's civil, anyway. Come on, Zane. We need to report to father anyway."

"Hold up!" Arien ran to stop them briefly. "Don't tell him about...my ability. Okay?" Confusion crossed their features. "I just;" he glanced back at Red. "I've decided my own course in life and I don't need whatever he wants to offer. He made that clear enough 10 years ago. I mean it."

"Alright, alright," muttered Ralen, then loud enough for Red to hear,said: "We'll just tell him you're up to your old antics again, womanizing, getting thrown out of bars..." He didn't react fast enough to avoid Arien's fist that knocked him back two steps.

"I'll kill you later," Arien muttered darkly as he stalked back to Red.

Red smiled and watched Arien and his brothers with amusement. She heard Ralen's comment, but it didnt bother her, she trusted Arien.

Before the brothers could get far, Red sat up. "So are you going to bring back the tent?" she asked.

Neo flicked his ears at Zane, he could feel him watching.
What are you staring at? he thought to Zane.

Zane flinched. "I, ah, just, ah, wanted to say thank-you-for-not-eating-me?" He finished with a squeak and then fled after his two older brothers.

Arien sighed. "I don't know what they're planning on doing. If they don't bring it back, I'll do it myself."

He trailed off as a tent, still set up and everything, though loosed from its stakes, suddenly floated into the clearing, where it settled down. It was promptly followed by their things, before a small fire seemed to light itself.

Arien grinned. "I guess that answers your question?"

Red smiled and thought that Arien's brothers werent that bad.
"Yes it does," Red said with a smile.
Kissing Arien's cheek, she went through her pack and found some shorts and a tank top.
"Im gonna go change then," she said with a smile and tested out her legs before standing up.
They seemed to have caught up to her an she stood up, a little wobbly at first. But she finally got the feel back in her legs and she walked over to the tent. Slipping in, she took off her corseted shirt and slipped on the tank top then switched out her pants or the shorts.

Coming back out of the tent, she felt alot better and sat next to Arien. Leaning on him, she smiled and enjoyed the warmth of the fire as a cool breeze blew.

Arien relaxed, taking time to stake down the tent once more as Red changed inside it. He returned to the fire and was more than happy to cuddle with her when she was finished changing.

"So, does this mean that Ash will leave you alone for a while now? Or will she be back?" His voice was soft, as he watched the flickering fire.

Bella returned from wherever she and Nex had gone and prowled the area, sniffing intently where Arien's brothers had been.

Red tensed a little at the thought of Ash. She remembered vividly when Ash stabbed her, the cold hard look in her eyes.
"She'll be back, but not for a while.." she murmured.

Nex trotted in behind Bella, happy about the time spent with her. Nex made his way over to Neo and lied down next to him.

"Next time let's just sick the animals on her, would that work?" Arien muttered. "Or better yet, lure her to my father. He'll take care of her right quick. Maybe."

Seeing that he'd made Red uncomfortable though, he leaned closer to her. "Well, I got to see Transylvania," he murmured. "Anywhere else you'd like to go?"

Red looked up at Arien and smiled. "Anywhere you go, i will be right beside you." she murmured and kissed Arien gently.

Nex and Neo fell asleep with Patch tucked in the middle.

Red took Arien's hand and intertwined her fingers with his. Red worried about nothing when she was with Arien.

It was probably good Red worried about nothing, because Arien worried about everything. Although at the moment he could safely cross out running into his brothers.

"I'm so glad," he murmured, squeezing her hand gently and matching her kiss with his own. "Let's rest here for tonight, and then tomorrow...we'll see how we're doing, alright?"

"You mean we cant sleep in the tent?" Red asked, confused.
If she couldnt sleep in the tent, that was fine as long as she was with Arien. But she couldnt see why they wouldnt sleep in the tent.

Arien grinned and tweaked her nose. "I meant here, as in this place. You want to move into the tent though, fine with me."

He picked her up without a second thought and carried her into the tent, laying her down gently. "There," he said, settling down next to her, "comfy yet?"

Red blushed with embarrasment. "Ah yes.. i knew that.." she murmured.

"Nope not yet," Red said with a smile then leaned over him and kissed him softly. "Now i am," she whispered.

Arien grinned and deepened the kiss. "Mm, me too."

Bella finally settled down from her prowling and went to curl up beside Nex. She heaved a sigh and closed her eyes, though she listened to the noises around them.

Red smiled and kissed him again, before laying down with her body against his. Putting her head on his chest, she traced light lines and shapes on his chest.

Nex purred softly when Bella settled down next to him.

Arien smiled and returned the favor, drawing on her back with his finger. He was grateful for being with her, regardless of what life threw at him. Or Ash. He kissed the top of her head.

Bella wagged her tail in response to Nex's purr.

Red shuddered and smiled, only Arien could send her emotions into a frenzy like this.
Looking up at him, she was going to tell him something then thought better and looked away.

Nex gently licked Bella's ear then shifted closer to her. Finally falling asleep.
