Arien followed. "Is that right? Your mother must have been quite talented. And you were smart to learn from her."

Red smiled and crawled inside the tent. "She was amazing. So nice and pretty. All the men would flock to help her if she needed it," she replied, remembering her clearly.
Taking out a small vile, she uncapped it and soaked a small cloth in it. Taking off her shirt, she handed Arien the cloth.
"Ok put it on the burn, but very gently. This burns considerably so i cant apply it myself. You have to hold it on the burn for five minutes no matter how much i tell you it burns. Got it?" she asked.

Arien's face paled as he took the cloth and then looked at Red. "Really?" But he swallowed and waited for Red to get comfortable before applying the treated cloth. "Umm, if you need a distraction..."

He winced as he sat down next to her and then kissed her deeply, before applying the cloth to her burn. He didn't know what to expect, but he took her words to heart--he would keep the cloth against her burn for five minutes.

Red kissed Arien back deeply and put her arms around his neck. Gasping when the cloth touched the burn, she balled her hands into fists. Digging her nails in the palms of her hands, she focused more on the kiss then the burning pain. The kiss distracted her for the most part and she tensed from the pain.

He would keep her as occupied as he could, and let his free hand caress her neck, feeling her tense from the pain.

It was hard to keep track of how long he had the cloth on the burn, but at last he thought five minutes had passed. And he released the cloth. His other hand now free, he caressed Red's face, wiping the beads of sweat that had broken out.

"That's my girl," he murmured.

Red was breathing heavy and closed her eyes. She didnt let go of Arien, but she uncurled her hands slowly. Slowly, she let her body relax and she opened her eyes, looking at Arien.
"Th-thank you," she stammered at first.

"You're welcome." Arien planted a kiss on her forehead and then checked her burn mark.

The burn was completely gone and Red sat up slowly. "Arien..how is your wound?" she asked, concerned a little.
The polituce was supposed to make the wounded area numb after a while and keep infection away. The numbness stopped pain and drew out poisons that Ash probably had put on the blade of her dagger.

"It's fine," Arien replied, batting her concern away. The numbness of the poultice hadn't quite taken hold yet, but he figured that was due to his increased tolerance to healing. Although granted this wasn't quite a magical healing. "And your burn is completely gone. I'm impressed." He gently slid his hand over the spot where the burn had been.

Red flinched by softness of his touch. "I can put a vile on yours after the polituce has been on for a few hours. It has too draw out the poison Ash use on her blades," she explained.
Gently, she put her hand on the bandage that covered his wound. Closing her eyes, she used magic to search for poison. A blackness swept over her and she saw a replay of the fire from whem she was seven. Her hand felt the fire consuming her hand.
Red let out a cry of surprise and pain as she felt the fire. She fell back away from Arien and looked at her hand but it was perfectly fine.

"Fantastic," Arien commented. "It takes more than a flesh wound to take me down." But he flinched and hissed in pain when she touched his side. It was only for a moment and then she was pulling away from him like she'd been burned.

"What's wrong?" he grabbed her hand to look at it, but it seemed fine to him. "A flashback?" he asked, worried.

Red looked up at Arien like she didnt remember him. Then relazation flashed in her eyes. "Arien.. I know you from somewhere.." she said confused.

Ash was a speacialist when it came to poisons. Soon the effects would wear off but as of now she couldnt remember much of anything.

Arien blinked. "Uh, Red? You feeling okay?" He put his hand to her forehead to feel for fever. Maybe it was a reaction to the burn ointment? Or was it something else entirely? She had seemed fine up until... He looked down at his wound and then back at Red. "Oh man, don't tell me you don't remember me."

He got up carefully and extracted himself from the tent to reclaim his shirt. If it had anything to do with her touching where Ash had cut him, he'd have to be careful. The numbing effect was finally taking hold as he slid his shirt on and then peeked into the tent to check on Red.

Red watched him leave and hurt crossed her expression then confusion. Falling back onto her back, she tried to remember where she was. Suddenly sitting up, she realised that she doesnt know where she was or why. Scrambling up, she shot out of the tent and looked around.
Where the hell am i? she thought.

Arien jumped back as she nearly barreled into him. "Uh, Red?" He could tell she was freaked out, but he didn't know why. He carefully approached her, and put his hand on her shoulder. "What's wrong? I just went to get my shirt..."

Bella looked up from her spot on Nex and flicked her ears forward at the commotion. She wagged her tail, but whined when she heard Arien's concerned tone. She nudged Nex with her nose.

Red jumped and turned around, drawing her sword and pointing it at Arien. "I.. I dont know anything..i cant remember.." she stammered and slowly lowered her sword.
Looking at the ground, she felt guilty for drawing her sword on him for some reason.

Nex woke up and opened his eyes. He felt her mixture of emotions and confusion mostly.
Red? he thought freely.

Arien jumped back, hands up to show he was unarmed. "Um, then maybe you should sit down and take a rest. We've had a long day, between getting attacked and all. And you and I are friends; well, more than friends." He trailed off and looked over at the tiger.

Bella pressed up against Nex, wondering what was going on.

Red put her sword down on the ground and looked at Arien apologetically. "So i love you then.. Well i know i do.. I just cant remember how we met or anything.. Im.. Im scared.." she replied and sat on the ground.
Taking the band out of her hair, her hair tumbled down her back in loose curls. Crawling over to Arien, she looked at him pleadingly.
"Whats going on Arien?" she whispered.

Arien shrugged and carefully sat down. Man, of all the places to get cut, it was certainly an annoying location. He started to reach for her hair, and then stopped. "I don't know, but I'm thinking it has something to do with when you touched my wound. You mentioned that Ash poisons her blade...so if you came into contact with something, physically or magically, you'd have a reaction. I'm guessing that's what happened."

Arien looked down at the ground. "As for how we met," he flushed. "It's kind of a long story. Just know that I'll do anything I can to help you." And really, he just needed to stop saying that, because so far he'd been completely helpless in protecting her from anything.

Red searched his eyes and suddenly they returned to their usual lightness. "Arien. I cant touch your wound. Ash's poison did something to me, it was temporary. Arien i love you in case i didnt tell you that," she informed then whispered the last part and smiled.
"Oh and why were you flushing when you thought of when we met?" Red asked, smirking.
Nex relaxed when she remembered everything again. He licked Bella's cheek and nuzzled her neck.
