Arien grinned at Nex's timely arrival. "Well, first things first, I suggest we eat and actually try to get a decent night's sleep. Then, in the morning, we'll pack our things and head to town where we can sleep in a real bed and contemplate where we want to travel." He searched Red's face, looking for either excitement or regret. "What do you think?"

"I think thats a great idea. But.. I dont really feel that hungry right now," Red smiled a little.
Crawling slowly past Arien, she layed down and looked up at him for a moment before closing her eyes. She hadnt been feeling very well since the morning Daren came to their camp site.

Nex put the rabbit down in front of Bella and looked at her affectionatly.

Arien frowned and put his hand over Red's forehead. "Are you sick? Or maybe you're still recovering..."

Bella looked up at Nex, her tail wagging and then she stood up to give him a proud lick on his cheek. Before picking up the rabbit and dropping it into Arien's lap.

Arien grimaced. "I could have reached for it myself, but thanks," he muttered.

"Im fine just not feeling too well right now. Im sure i will feel better later on," Red replied and smiled reassuringly.
Red coughed a little and sat up, not feeling comfortable. Maybe she was sick..or..no she couldnt be..

Nex purred when Bella licked his cheek. Then looked at Red worriedly and pricked his ears up.

Arien nodded. "Alright then. Let me know if there's something I can do. I'll prepare this." He held up the rabbit and then eased his way out of the tent.

He made short work of building a fire and then roasting the rabbit, but he was lost in thought. Well, whatever was wrong with Red, he hoped it passed soon.

Red slipped out of the tent behind Arien, silently. Slipping off into the woods, she felt the cool grass beneath her feet and really wondered about that thought.
"Can i be...pregnant?.." she murmured.

Neo listened as Red slipped away then trotted over to Arien. Flicking his tail on his side, he angled his ears towards where Red slipped off to.

Arien glanced at Neo when the large tiger approached. "What're you listening to?" he asked, glancing in the direction where Neo's ears were angled. Too many months in the company of Bella had taught him to look where the animals listened.

Bella clambered out of the tent as well, and then went over to greet Nex with a brief touch of her nose to his.

"Red slipped off into the woods. I think there is something on her mind," Neo replied.
Nex purred softly and licked Bella's cheek.

Red found a small pond of water and pu her feet and legs in. Sitting down on an overhanging rock, she thought about it. It kind of scared her. What shoul she do if she was? Would Arien stick around? Maybe she should go see a doctor to confirm it..
Yes, thats what she would do. Arien wouldnt miss her for a few hours and she would be back as soon as she could.
Getting up, she walked in the direction of the town.

Arien jumped when Neo spoke. He always forgot that they could talk normally--and he was too used to Bella not talking that it still surprised him.

"Should I go after her?" Arien asked, removing the now cooked rabbit from the fire "...But if she's sick she shouldn't be wandering the woods alone, either." He scowled and stood up. "Do you know which direction she went?"

"Towards town," Neo replied before sitting down and starting to groom himself.

Red made it to town a little bit before Arien knew and went straight to the medical area. Walking in, she told them about what she thought. The man nodded and led her to the back room. Performing a few tests he told her that she was positive for pregnancy.
Red nodded and walked out of the medical building, only then did she start freaking out.
"Oh my god..oh my god.." she whispered over and over.
Sliding down the side of the building, she put her head in her hands. What was she gonna say..

Arien hesitated and then looked back at Bella and the tigers. They would be fine, but he was wondering if he should go after Red, or wait for her to come back. He sighed and went after her. Even if she got upset at him, he was concerned for her.

So he followed the path to town. Would she have gone anywhere in particular? He didn't know, but wandered by the medical building just in case. "Red?" he called. "Where'd you go?"

Red tensed when she heard Arien's voice and decided to tell him later. She would tell him tonight in the tent where it was more private.
Standing up, she wandered over to where she heard Arien's voice.
"Im right here.." she said quietly from behind him and looked at the ground.

Arien jumped and turned. "Are you okay?" He gently put his hand beneath her chin to look into her face. "Red? If you needed medicine, you could have told me--I'd get it for you."

Red smiled a little but the nervousness was clear in her eyes. "No. No im fine just went for a check up," she said softly.
Standing on her tippy toes, she kissed Arien softly on the lips.

He met her kiss, but his eyes searched hers and saw that she was hiding something. In a rare moment of maturity, he opted to say nothing. Whatever had happened, she wanted to wait to tell him. So he would let her.

"As long as it's not contagious," he murmured when their kiss ended--and thus ruined his moment of maturity. "Would you like me to carry you back?"

"No Arien it isnt contagious..far from it," Red whispered the last part to herself.
Taking his hand, she smiled and kissed him one last time.
"It's ok i can walk," she said.
The light from the sun started to fade and Red quickly led Arien back to camp. She was extremly nervous but she felt excited at the same time. It kinda made her feel sick, which wasnt good. Letting go of Arien's hand, she went over to the tent and slipped in. Motioning for Arien to follow her in.

Arien followed wondering just what Red was planning. He had no clue what it might be. And that, more than anything intrigued him.

He flopped down in the tent next to Red, and looked at her. "What is it?"

Red looked at the floor of the tent and scratched at her pant leg. "Um...Arien..im...im..pregnant.." she murmured and avoided his eyes.
Her heart felt like it was going to explode and she was surprised he couldnt hear it.

Arien didn't react right away; still coming to grips with the idea before his face drained of color. "Pregnant?" It felt so foreign, falling from his lips like it did. "Red...you're sure?"

Red frowned and felt her heart drop to her stomach. "Yes im sure.." she mummbled and moved away from Arien.
From his reaction, she thought he didnt want it and really he wasnt quite sure how it was going to work out either.
