Bella didn't seem to mind the grooming by Nex. On the contrary, she leaned and twisted to help him reach the good spots.

The arrows were easy enough to find; it was the bow that gave Arien trouble. Finally, he found the right one; though he'd be late in getting back. It was well into the afternoon by the time he returned. And with a relieved sigh he looked for Red. "Red? Bella? I'm back--sorry it took so long."

Red looked up as she heard Arien's voice. With a smile, she stood up and waited by the entrance of the house.
"Hey Arien. I made dinner already so dont worry bout being hungry," she said to him as he walked up.

Nex kept thoroughly grooming her until she was completely clean.

Arien grinned and kissed her the moment he saw her. "Thank you, Red." He handed her a wrapped object that was obviously a bow. And likewise a handful of obviously-wrapped arrows. "Just for you. I won't tell you what I went through to find them. I hope you like 'em."

Bella then returned the favor, beginning with washing Nex's face and scruff.

Red smiled and kissed back. "I know i will love them," she replied. Setting them down on a table she cleaned off, two bowls were sat down on the table with steaming soup in them.
Sitting down at the table, she motioned for Arien to join her.

Nex purred louder and closed his eyes, relaxing.

He sat down and enjoyed his home cooked meal. There was eating in a tavern and then there was eating at home. The Tabasco sauce, once again, stayed in his pocket as he ate. And finally he set his bowl aside and watched Red. Wondering when the opportune moment would arise.

Bella happily went to town cleaning Nex, though he was bigger than she was. At last, she finished and lay down next to him with a sigh.

Red finished with her dinner and smiled when she realized Arien was watching her. Getting up, she went over to him and took his bowl.
"I'll take that," she said.
Walking off to the kitchen, she washed up the bowls and put them up. Then walking back into the main room, she took Arien's hand and led him over to the fireplace. Starting a fire, she sat down and pulled him with her.

Nex looked at Bella and pushed himself against her. It was cold out tonight and he was going to protect her from it.

Bella wagged her tail and licked Nex's side, thankful for the shelter against the wind and cold.

Arien snuggled up next to Red, grateful for her heat as well as the fire. "Red?" he started, almost hesitantly, and then stopped. His heart was hammering in his chest at what he was about to do next.

He moved a bit away and adjusted his position to kneel a little, his hand going into his pocket. "Would you...marry me?"

His voice might have squeaked as he produced the etched silver ring he had bought in town. And waited for her reply.

Red didnt hesitate however, tackle-hugging him tightly and grinning. "Yes!" she exclaimed very happily.
Then she started doing something she hadnt expected; she started crieing.
Oh crap..im such a girl sometimes.. she thought.

Nex purred softly then heard Red exclaim. He and Neo jumped up, Neo ran to the house while Nex waited on Bella.

Arien chuckled as she tackled him in enthusiasm and wrapped his arms around her, still clutching the ring tightly. He didn't want to lose it now, of all times.

He hugged her close, thrilled that she was so excited. And then he felt his shirt getting damp. A momentary pause was followed by: "Are you crying? Here, give me your hand."

Bella pricked her ears up and dashed off to join Neo and Nex to see what the commotion was all about.

"No.." Red lied then sniffled and pulled away. She gave him her hand and wiped away the tears with her sleeve.
Red had never been happier actually, this was the best moment so far. Looking at the ring, she saw something etched into it.

Neo walked in and sat close by. Listening, he could tell what was happening.
"Arien asked her to marry him," he explained to Nex and Bella.

Arien gently raised her hand to his lips and kissed it, before sliding the ring onto her ring finger. It seemed to size itself before fitting perfectly. He smiled at her. "There, it's official."

His grin probably didn't fit on his face, he was too happy and didn't exactly know how to show it or what to do with it. He was pleased that she should like the ring though. "The man I bought the ring from said the engraving means Eternal Hope. But it could also be read as Undying Love."

Bella wagged her tail and then lifted her head to the skies and howled her happiness. Making Arien flinch.

Red smiled and put her arms around his neck, kissing him deeply. "I love you Arien," she whispered and smiled.
She kept messing withthe ring, liking the feel of having it on her finger. She had to start planning the wedding, including when it was going to happen.

Nex purred proudly and Neo did as well. Nex licked Bella's cheek then put his tail on her back.

"I love you, Red." He grinned watching her fiddle with the ring. She was cute, and he could tell she was pleased by it.

He looked over at the door, realizing they had company in the form of two tigers and a wolf. He scowled and blushed a little. "What are you guys looking at?"

Bella leaned against Nex, soft happy whines escaping her as she wagged her tail heartily.

Neo snickered at Arien's blush then motioned for the other to follow him into the kitchen. Nex waited for Bella to stand before he did then he walked her into the kitchen.

Red brushed her thumb lightly along Arien's cheek, smiling.
"Fall or winter?" she asked quietly.

Arien leaned a little into the pressure of Red's thumb. He smiled. "Which is easier for you? Fall is pretty because the trees change color; but winter we could have snow decorating everything."

Bella followed Nex into the kitchen, curious about what the tigers had in mind.

Red thought for a minute then smiled. "Winter. The baby will be due somewhere around late spring," she replied.

Neo sat down and motioned for Nex and Bella to hurry up.

Arien smiled. "Sounds perfect." It would also give him time to plan things--like whether or not he should invite his brothers to the wedding. He could just imagine the fiasco that would take place. "I'm thinking we'll have a small wedding?" he asked.

Bella hurried over to Neo, cocking her head to the side quizzically. She had no idea what the tigers were planning, but she was happy enough to take part.

Red smiled and nodded. "Small yes. Well maybe we should have it pretty soon.. I dont want to be showing too much for the wedding.." she replied and frowned a little.
Biting her lip, she had to think about this. They needed to finish the room but maybe they should get married first. Also should she have a wedding dress for this?

Nex sat down next to Bella and flicked Neo's side for him to continue.
"Ok. So theyre gonna have a wedding which means Red needs a wedding dress. Her mom had one and it was a long time ago. It got burnt with the fire but Red remembers what it looked like. We need to go and have a seamstress make it for her. Also we should invite Arien's family," Neo explained and looked at Bella for approval.

Bella pricked her ears up and wagged her tail at Neo. She was fully on board with this, and ready to contribute. Actually, she sniffed the air. She could probably find Arien's family if they needed her to.

Arien frowned as well, seeing the dilemma. "How about we keep it short and sweet. Seeing as how the trees have already changed for fall, why don't we have it in the next couple of weeks. If we're lucky, it might even snow." He offered a smile and got up to put his arms around Red's waist. "We'll have plenty of time after the wedding to get the house pulled together. Trust me." He kissed her gently on the back of her neck.

Red smiled and relaxed in Arien's hold. Leaning back into him, she nodded in agreement. "How about next week? After next week i'll probably be showing more than usual," she replied.

Neo flicked his tail, glad she agreed.
"Ok. Nex and Bella you are going to get Arien's family. I will take care of the dress," he ordered.
Nex nodded then nudged Bella gently, flicking his ears to the doorway. Neo crept out of the house and ran in the direction of town.
Remember its a surprise Nex thought to Bella.
