Ralen brightened at the idea of taking the cat with him. "I could use a companion." He gently pet the kitten, contemplating using his power to bring the bowl up to his pet, but the cat leaped before he could get more than just the thought to do so. He sighed as the cat began to eat out of the bowl.

"Oy, Patch, you have to ask first," he muttered, making no attempt to save what was left of the meal. He did pet Patch, assuming the cat let him.

Zane screeched--not quite the same pitch as Arien, but definitely close enough to earn some looks--as the tiger toppled him. And sure enough, he lost control of his water spell--saturating both himself and the tiger. "Please don't eat me!"

Arien snickered, pleased with Nex's pounce. Now if only he'd do that to Darien...

Red smiled as she watched Ralen brighten up at the idea of having a companion. "When Patch grows to an adult, you will have yourself a tiger as big as these two," she said to him and jumped as she heard Zane's screch.

Nex pinned his ears to his head in anoyance as he was drenched with water. He narrowed his eyes at Ralen and bared his fangs. Im greatly considering it right now his eyes said as he stared at Zane in irritation. Then he flicked his tail and got off of Zane, walking over to Bella and settling down beside her.

Patch purred as Ralen pet him and once he had finshed the remains of food in his bowl, he sat back. Blinking his big, green and blue eyes up at Ralen in the cutest way. He wanted more human food and if he could just get Ralen to think he was cute enough, he might get some.

Arien had seen Ralen pluck wings off flies, torture ants with a lens angled to the sun, and many other atrocities. But to see Ralen now so captivated by a kitten...it was sickening.

Ralen, for his part, grinned down at the kitten and gently firmed his scratching a little, getting aorund the ears. "You're a handsome lil' devil, aren't ya, Patch?" But at the indication that Patch would grow to be a tiger, he glanced up at Red. "You're kidding right? A tiger? Like...like that?" He pointed to Nex who was unhappily wet.

Zane recoiled, ducking behind Darien, who was trying his best to stay out of the way of the tigers and the commotion. If he didn't draw attention to himself, he might survive this encounter. "You don't need a tiger, Ralen! They're unpredictable and dangerous," said Zane.

Ralen grinned at Zane. "Yes, but with that much power behind me, and my ability, no one would be able to stop me." He grabbed Zane's bowl and offered it to Patch. "Here, you can have his since he's not eating it."

Red smiled and got up, walking over to Arien. She placed a light kiss on his lips and smiled before going over to the table and collecting all the bowls and plates nobody was using. Taking them into the kitchen, where she washed and tried them.

Neo rather liked Darien since he was usually the quietest of the three. Getting up, he walked slowly over to Darien and stood there for a moment before sitting down in front of him flicking his ears. He may be blind but he knew exactly where Darien stood.

Patch gladly started eating the rest of Zane's bowl as well. Then when he was finished, he licked his small jaws and leapt down onto Ralen's lap. Taking a moment to stretch before he curled up in his lap. His tiny striped chest moving up and down slowly and steadily telling Ralen he was asleep.

Nex on the other hand, didnt like any of them. He thought they were too reckless with their powers, especially Zane. Narrowing his eyes as he looked at Zane, he would get it big time before he left.

Arien happily accepted the kiss from Red, following her into the kitchen to help with dishes...although it could be argued to get away from his brothers as well.

"Many hands make light work," he offered, helping with the drying.

In the other room, Ralen was looking gleefully down at Patch who was slumbering quite contentedly in his lap. He slowly and gently pet the kitten, muttering soft, pleasant words to it. Though he'd deny it if his brothers harrassed him about it.

Darien blinked at Neo and cringed away, unsure of the tiger's purpose for seeking him out. "Ah, nice tiger," he offered warily, noting it was the blind one. Hopefully it wouldn't mistake him for food.

Zane on the other hand, was not very happy with the look Nex had given him. He inched backwards toward Ralen, hoping that his older brother would protect him against anything the tiger might pull. Though how a man could stand up against a tiger was the flaw in Zane's plan.

Red smiled and looked up as Arien started drying the dishes, helping to put them up. "Thank you but you didnt have to. Unless your trying to get away from your brothers," she teased. Placing a kiss on his cheek as she put the last dish away. "Well im going to go to bed. I want to have enough sleep for tommorow," she said with a gentle smile. Taking Arien's hand in hers, she gently pulled him out of the kitchen and towards the bedroom stopping in the living room."Okay. Animals and brothers to bed. Come on. We all need the sleep for tommorow," Red said with a smile and started motioning for everyone to get to bed.

Nex cast one last irritated glance at Zane before flicking his tail and getting up. Nudging Bella over to the fireplace and curling up with her. Grooming her thoroughly as they settled down.

Neo on the other hand, got up and rubbed up against Darien for a moment before walking away. Once Darien settled down in his spot, Neo layed down next to him a bit close. He showed that he took a liking to him by laying close by.

Patch woke up to Ralen moving around and let out a growl of protest to being woke up.
