Faye was walking to the nearest town after she was ran out of the other one she had lived in for the past two months. She had on her commoners clothes and her wich clothes were in her bag along with all of her other possitions including her staff. She had her map out while she walked on the path that the humans used for a nature walk. The path was suppost to lead her into town but she ended up even deeper into the forest. She groned as ahe realised that she was looking at the map the wrong way. She turned it over and started to walk in the right direction, hopeful that she would get to town bynight fall.

Crow was wearing her normal clothes: dirtied robes, ragged shoes, and her tri-pointed hat that dipped and hid a small part of her face from view. The ragged shoes scraped against the earth, but Crow was focused on the task at hand.

That task had Crow marching in the opposite direction than the other traveler. A ring of illumination spread itself around Crow, emitting from a small crystal attached to her belt. It was a pale light that accented the dulled robes and hat, but it was faint in the last remaining hours of sunlight. A small wooden crate walked besides Crow. Four small legs made of the same wood supported it and it had no other features.

Faye felt a presences of someone else that was near the path. She examined the woods around her to try to identify the preseces that irrated her and failed to see it. "Anyone around?" She asked to what she thought was a human.

Crow walked the common road. The lamp and the crystal illuminated the area around her. But Crow did not have anything close to an extra sensory. She did not sense or feel the presence of another person. There was only her.

Crow, did however, hear well enough. The ragged boots stopped and Crow stood still, holding up the lantern to assist her sight. Crow paused. "Who is there?"

Faye spotted a faint light farther down the path and started to walk towards it, unshure of what she would find. She squinted ans found it to be what she thought was a human. Faye breathed a sigh of relife. "Sorry, you scared me for a second."

Crow held her lamp up in the direction of something moving towards her. She did not show fear, nor did she feel it. A curiosity towards the other, maybe. The lamp light and the crystal illuminated Crow's pale and seemingly bored expression. "You become frightened easily." It was a passing thought, and Crow would continue her walking. The coarse boots would not stop for idle chatter, they and their wearer had an importance elsewhere.

Faye glared at the strange woman at the comment but decided to let it slide. "Are you lost?"

Crow's face only faced foreword and she walked even when questioned about her knowledge of her surroundings. This caused a slight twinge in the thin lips. It was a pain in the knuckles that had the uncaring tone of voice change. "Are you? I know where I am going and where I will return. Now leave me be." Crow's voice grew dimmer as she continued down the road.

Faye was starting to get irrated with the girl but showed on sign of it. "I just wanted to see if you needed help, I do have a map so I'm not lost." Faye sighed. "Theres nothing wrong with a little help and in terms of politeness, you look like you need some."

Crow walked down the road and stopped. One foot crossed the line that would have separated the two by 20 feet, but Crow stopped and turned around. Her thin arms crossed over her chest and her head tilted backwards and to the right, her eyes regarding the other. "I do not need your help." Whether or not the other was lost, Crow could care less. And she did. "Help or politeness? I will make this clear. Unless you plan on making the nearby town people severely upset, you will leave me be." Crow did not need strangers becoming associated with her name and her actions.

Faye brushed off what she said and started to walk again, Glaring at the woman as she passed by.

Crow waited until the other had passed her. Her destination was further inwards, towards the darkness that was kept at bay by her faint, glowing crystal, and her lantern. Travelling until she found a large, grand, oak tree, Crow stopped. Her lantern was settled on the ground, gently.

Crow gazed at the tree and lifted her thin arms upwards. If the townspeople did not want to consider bargaining with Crow, she would offer them something they could not refuse.
