There is often silence, of it. It being someone that hides. It being someone who hides, to strike when no ones paying attention. It is a creature that no one could see, one that was the same shade of the night as average. It rarely talks, even when asked questions. Little is known about it, only that it lives in a city. It can walk silently, or loudly. It can hear you, even behind behind you yet you couldn't tell if it was close or far because it was just too silent.
That was then. This is now. A new era dawns. The day the silence gave up it's secrets.
The creature, seemingly human, stalking the grounds of a large castle, hiding within any shadows it could find. It's tail twitched in excitement, as it watched the grounds, grinning crookily. It had already finished off a few scarce meals, but something inside of it hungered for more. It scans the grounds it could see, examining anything that seemed edible.

Kuro walked around wherever she was trying to find some supplies for the long road ahead of her, she needed to get far away from here so she needed to be quick, she was trying to aviod trouble, but trouble always has a way of finding her.
Alma sat perched on the church roof. Silver paws tipped with moonlit sabers gripped at the edge. Seven white tails, glowing in the moonlight, flicked at the air, chasing shooting stars as they streaked accross the sky. Golden orbs stared down to the world below. Her muscles were tense, motionless, mirroring the gargoyles that guarded the rooftops and accepted her as their own.
Suddenly, muscles streaking the horse sized body tensed, preparing, then loosed as the being sprung from it's perch into what seemed to be pure darkness. She glided, blissfully, until pads met earth and muscles flexed in the known motion of running. She ran down the alley between the church and an empty building nearby. A rat crossed her path and more out of practice rather then hunger she scooped the rat, crushing it swiftly in her jaws before swallowing it easily whole. All the while continueing to run. She ran to the front of the church and, jumping onto a shed, began to skip accross the rooftops.
Straight ahead of her loomed a castle.

Straight ahead of her loomed a castle.
The creature perked it's tail, hearing movement. It skitters to the edge of the shadows of the castle, grinning to see a girl there. It stands up, claws spreading silently. One chance to fell another victim. It eyes narrow, it's heart starting to beat loudly as is prepared to strike, not noticing another figure nearing the castle.
Alma streaked accross the roofs, a blur against the night sky. Her claws clash against the shingles. A few can't withstand the force and fly free of their perch, clashing against the road below, startleing a pair of nighttime strollers. But by the time they look up, it is too late to see anything.
Alma neared the castle and, pouncing from a chimney, fly free of the wall and onto the battlements. A pair of guards raise their pikes, but do not strike. She dropped down onto the roof of one of the inner wall shops. Below her shoppers continue undisterbed. Among them, a girl with red and black hair.

Kuro stopped dead in her tracks when she sensed something was wrong. She listened closly to what sounds there were in the castla she stumbled upon and heard someone's heart beating fast, expecting something. She reached behind her back and gripped the hilt of her dagger that was tucked in her waistband. She sniffed the air suprised to catch a scent of something she did not know what was, her animal side told her to stay and fight but her human side told her to run. She staied prettily still.
With a loud inhuman shout, the clawed figure lunges at the girl, only to miss and land beside her. It sneers, and turns around, heart still beating loudly. It's bladed tail raised above it's head, glistening darkly. White furred with a cape, and a dark red eye with a dark purple one.
It steps forward, growling somehow, claws spread fully, tail ready to strike down the girl at a moments notice. Tensed up, ready to strike. Silent, yet loud. Thirsting to fill its desire to see humans fall to its blackened claws.

Alma perked up, watching the pair of brawlers. She regarded them as no more then a late night amusement? Besides, another hunter's prey was none of her business. The hunter however... He smelled strange, not quite human yet laced with the scent. She sat back on her haunches, waiting for what would happen next.
Kuro watched the creature seeing it's movements and when it came at her she oved out of it's way so it would miss. She grinned seeing that it was a chance to fight again. She waited for the creatures next move. She didn't look as if she was scared or in shock, she looked......cocky? She pulled out her dagger and waited for the creature's move on to take her down
The creature snarls and charges at her on all fours, somewhat animal despite its humanoid appearance. It's eyes only showed fury, no fear. For now, all it thought about was it's next meal, heart thumping loudly as it got closer, the cape blowing behind it's body.

((sorry, short post))
Alma jumped to the ground behind the fighting pair. Her claws scratching the cobblestone below. She sat, there more for a better seat then to interfere. But letting her presence be known wouldn't hurt anything.

(It's alright y'all)
As the creature neared her, Kuro got into a fighting pose, her dagger infornt of her body. As the creature came only inches from her she stabbed her dagger into the creature's left arm, she though it would be fun to let the fight last longer than her usual battles. She grinned and gave the creature the evil eye before tossing it to her right with her dagger still in hand as the creature was flung across the room. "It's not as easy as it looks to take me down." She hissed at the creature, her eyes had already shifted into blood red colors.

She hissed at the creature, her eyes had already shifted into blood red colors.
It hissed, sliding into a stall snarling loudly from the toss, flailing. It gets back up, arms starting to bleed. It sneered, and charges again, swiping furiously once close ennough, dark red eye narrowed. ''Ses yu, mutet!''
Kuro smriked, seeing that the creature wouldn't give up on killing her till she or it died. "I'll have to show you then." As the creature came close to her she slide under it and cut open it's right leg. She stood on te other side of the creature with a mocking grin. "Be careful, you don't know what and who your dealing with here." She said in a mocking tone, she was as always cocky when fighting. She had wounded the creature and it didn't even stab her or anything.
Elder screeches in pain and slides to a halt near another stall. It inches back, teeth bared. It still showed no fear, only cold hatred. Stitches visible on it's belly, tail whipping about. ''Ye dun know you ye dealing wit eaither!'' It snapped, inching back again.
Kuro watched the creature, exaiming the human and animal parts of it. "Experimented human with animal genes combined with your own, truely a terrible sin to do to a person." Kuro sighed, remembering her time back with her master, the experiments, training, all said for the name of science. She might not look like she was experimented on but she was made the way she looks and her master made sure not to give her too much of type of animal to make her grow a tail or sharp teeth, well unless when she didn't let her animal genes take over. "Him and I are more alike than I though." She mumbled under her breath so low that she believed no one else heard her.
It backs away more, bleeding badly, hurting. It hissed, then raised back up onto its feet, cape covering part of the stitches. ''Whe are you? You se to be trubled.'' It asked, lowering it's tail a bit, eyes narrowed a bit, heart still thumping.
Kuro relaxed her fighting pose and stood up normal but her dagger still in hand. "Kuro Sakuranbo." She answered, she didn't say why she seemed trouble, she was just suprise to find another person who was experimented on that had a worse change from it than she. Her eyes shifted back into the their normal colors; one blue and one red. She felt sorry for the creature about having to deal with more animal genes than she had to tell. "Who are you?" She asked since she told who she was she had a right to ask the same of the creature.
''Hybrid Elder, the name I gave myself becayse I ne longer can renemer my true neme.'' It hissed, still tensed up, tail over the wounds it bore.
Kuro watched Elder, seeing that he did not trust her, she understood why seeing that they just stopped fighting for the moment. She didn't trust him either, keeping her eyes cold and emotionless like her voice. "Are you one of the people choosen to be experimented on?" She eyed Elder as she spoke since she would be able to tell if he was lying since his scent was a mix of human and animal.
