(Wrong place to be asking that. ^^; There's a link to the recruitment page on the first page of this thread.)
Enfys (played by Kikarotaku)

Enfys rolled her eyes as Varkuul made his spiel about his lineage, which of course he wasn't completely honest about she suspected. As the attention came to Shiori, and is was explained how their race in different regions evolved differently, she felt defensive. She narrowed her eyes and sneered, her nose crinkled slightly in dislike. "How could you not be a half breed? Never have I seen an Eviere so humanistic in my life. Your clan must have eloped with the Elves." Clearly she was sour, she began to feel, in the slightest, hostile towards Shiori. Why she felt this way, she didn't have the answer. Enfys certainly didn't realize she was being sour towards him.

In her mind, Eviere was a race of grace and dignity. Nature was one with them, and none mastered the art of elemental magic quicker and more skillfully than them.

Having been entirely ignored, Varkuul removed his leg from its position on the table, hung his head in disappointment and sighed. Ignoring the two of them talking about their lineage he once again became puzzled by his missing shreds of paper and began searching for them frantically. He lifted the papers to see if they'd somehow made their way beneath the stack, and much to his disappointment he found nothing but wood. After placing the papers down he leaned over and checked underneath the table, yet again to no avail. Frustrated at their disappearance he reclaimed his seat and began shredding many extra pieces of paper in a furious fashion. Once done, and a pile of paper shreds lie before him, he began rapidly coloring them with the marker and placing them in a separate pile.

Suddenly, a brilliant plan formed in his mind that might convince Shiori to start helping with the work. Taking the red marker he looked toward the origami figures with malicious intent. Raising the pen up in the air he began dramatically stabbing the figures, splattering red ink on and around them as he did so.
Yukitachi Yona (played anonymously)

The small Eviere girl stayed silent, drifting off to the left side of the group and separated herself from the rest. She listened intently as the guide mentioned a group phase, and Yona sighed. Her eyes darted around the place with curiosity, eyeing every little detail about the place. She watched as the hooded figure disappear out of nowhere, and whispers settled among the crowd. One very loud voice caught her attention, and she looked over. It was a immense orc, bragging about how powerful he was. He didn't seem very bright, and was way too cocky. A smirk found its way on her face, and she made a mental note to possibly kick his ass later on.

Seeing basically everyone drift off to their dorm rooms, she followed. She pat her jacket pocket, and she felt a key shape in there. Her gloved hand made its way into her pocket, taking the item out and unlocking her door. Her room was simple, yet neat and tidy, just how she liked it. A backpack landed onto her desk chair, carrying some small things. She didn't have much, as she lived alone when she was at her Eviere tribe. Wanting to explore more, she shut her door and locked it, silently behind her. Before her, she had witness of the huge orc from earlier carrying another Eviere girl on his shoulders. She wanted to knock him over, but she decided just to watch. She leaned against a wall, a good distance away from the three, but not too far for her to not be able to hear them. She chuckled softly here and there, learning more about the three, who were apparently Shiori, Varkuul, and Enfys.
Shiori (played anonymously)

"I really don't think the exact lineage of my clan should be any of your concern, regardless," Shiori shot back in as calm a tone as he could manage, although he couldn't hold back a slight twitch in his eye. As little as he tried to care about his clan personally, he still cared about his clan as an entity. His discussion with Enfys had distracted him from whatever Varkuul was doing, which he only noticed once the orc began viciously assaulting his brand-new collection of paper animals.

Shiori's eyes widened with a mixture of surprise and terror as he watched Varkuul massacre his origami for another split moment. He felt his face quickly flush a shade not unlike the color being jabbed all over his paper handiwork, and both of his tails bristled. Clamping his jaw shut to avoid yelling anything he'd regret later, he shot his arm out to snag the marker and yank it away with enough force to either pull it out of the orc's hand or break it trying.
Enfys (played by Kikarotaku)

Taken aback by Shiori's attitude, his comment defensive, she growled a bit. "You should learn to watch what you say, half--" Enfys was cut off, her scowl wiped clean off as she was interrupted by Varkuul's violent massacre of the origami menagerie. Her irritated expression was replaced by shock, her face scrunching in confusion. "A-ah... Varkuul, could you just..." She eyed the pen, and cringed as Shiori reached for it, stepping back as the spectacle played out. Wait... She looked around as the chaos ensued, and turned around, making her escape. Eh I'll at least look for a box for his raffle tickets. As she snuck away, she glanced at the figure standing a few yards away from the table, her eyes narrowed as she flips up her hood, ears lain back against her hair as she disappears around the corner.

Certainly there has to be a box somewhere... Enfys looked around, her search for the box officially started.

Quest: Find a box for Varkuul.
Nino Lucas Klaus (played anonymously)

He rubbed the back of his neck. This was the real deal, creatures come from all over the planet to attend this academy, or so he had heard. There was very little shock about how few human beings there seemed to be. Humans who are able to work with magic is a rare thing, but apparently not as rare as halflings. 'Humans, the roaches of the universe.'He thought, sliding his hand into his pocket, well there it was, his dorm room key.

'Geez, I'm such a goof, that woman with the hood mentioned that checking our pockets would be beneficial.' Nino thought.

Early, as in a few seconds after 'orientation' someone was shouting about how great he was and how they should join him or something to that effect. Nino saw a glimpse of him, orc, yet lizard. Half orc, half hagrick. Interesting. Although Nino felt pity for the poor the poor eviere, but at the moment he preferred them over himself. Even if Nino stood comparatively to the lizard like orc, humans are no where near as strong. Thinner flesh, smaller bones and the such. However most other human beings made a mention that he was abnormally tall, Nino did not mind though. His abnormal height added to his long list of oddities.

Nino scanned the area after that disaster, there seemed to be no human beings. A small voice was telling him two things 'Go back, no one freely accept you.' but the other was saying 'Be like the half-blood! Be fierce! Strong! Confident!.'. Personally he preferred the second voice to the first. Yet, here he was, looking for a fellow human being, clinging to the desperate hope of not being alone!

In the midst of his massacre Shiori stretched out his arm, reaching for his ink soaked murder weapon. Varkuul pulled back but was unable to do so quickly enough to avoid the Eviere's quick reflexes, causing it to fling toward a nearby onlooker.

It was a human girl with blonde hair, green eyes, and a splotch of red ink on her forehead, freshly added. Varkuul's mouth went slightly agape as he watched it fly through the air in awe. Upon seeing it land at its destination he looked over to Shiori with a stern look on his face. "Go apologize Shiori, this is all your fault. Shame on you." He spoke without a shred of guilt.

Walking over to the girl, he held his hand to his chest and proudly declared "As an apology I suppose I'll Have to let you join team Victory!" He turned back to look at his remaining companion, the other which had seemed to have slipped off somewhere. "Look what you've done now Shiori. Now we have one less slot on our team and we don't even know if she's good." Clearly he was incapable of placing any of the blame upon himself. Once again, being the hasty hard head that he is he decided to drag along the new recruit without waiting for a response, as obviously the only answer any of them would ever give is a solid yes.
Yukitachi Yona (played anonymously)

The Eviere girl burst out laughing, blowing her cover, and people stared at her like she was mad. "BAHAHHAHA! What was that?!?!" She didn't care if she looked mad, she just continued to laugh. She was sort of surprised Varkuul had managed to do that, and there was a huge red mark on the center of the poor human's forehead. And wow, saying that right in front of her. Harsh. This just made it even funnier, and she didn't stop for a good five seconds. She wiped a year from her eyes, and she usually didn't show this much emotion. Either way, it was hilarious. It would probably take forever to scrub that off, at least like an hour or two. Wishing she could give the girl a wipe, she looked in her pockets, for anything that could be useful, but they were empty. She felt bad, and the look on her face! Who cares if people though she was insane? What could go wrong?
Shiori (played anonymously)

"Agh!" Shiori's previously pretentious vocabulary had quickly been reduced to simple gutteral noises. He'd gaped at the girl, then at Varkuul, but not moved any further than to stand up at his chair at the now red-stained table. This was absolutely ridiculous. He'd never imagined a single being could attain such a level of ludicrousness. Everything about this was pointless, and it suddenly dawned on him that he'd fallen straight into the trap of idiocy. Whatever bleak pit he'd fallen into, he knew there was no gracefully getting out of.

He had completely lost it. Any sense of dignity had temporarily flown out the window as Shiori was mentally backed into a corner.

"You lumbering oaf!" he shouted at Varkuul, face turning a darker shade of red. "I am not apologizing!" He shoved the stack of paper off of the table, scattering the sheets everywhere, before turning to the marked human. "And I'm very sorry you had to fall victim to this- this beast!" His voice cracked harshly, not used to ever being above a soft talking range. "And you- ahhgh!" Shiori kicked his chair across the room before storming out, retreating to his dorm room and shutting the door behind him before sitting down on the floor against it.

This... this is why he was supposed to not talk with people and just keep to his studies, he reminded himself.

Hearing laughter caused him to turn which put the young eviere, the half breed and a human in his sights. A human! However he realized how the human, whom of which was being pulled around by the half blood, seemed modified by something. He started forward getting a better look at the three, he noticed the red mark on her forehead as well as another eviere going to his dorm. There were some options here.

Nino figured the one female eviere with a bright blue scarf would soon follow the orc and the human girl, and so would he. He cut through the ever thinning crowd to at least intercept the orc.

At first he was silent, staring at them, but a smile was creeping on him. A corner of his mouth twitched upward before curling into a sweet smile. "Hiya!" Nino waved and then looked at was probably the only other human being there. It probably wasn't much but he reached in his other pocket to retrieve a handkerchief and held it out for her. In the least she could go to a bathroom, wet it and rub the ink off her forehead.
Yukitachi Yona (played anonymously)

Yona just smirked and half waved at the female, who had just fallen into Varkuul's mess. When she saw the other human, a male wearing a robe, approach him, she was going to try and stop him from entangling himself into the mess. So she reached out to grabbed his arm, but didn't quite reach it. "I-I don't think you want to-WOOAH!" She tripped and faceplanted, to her dismay. Her tail pointed straight up, and she sighed. Sometimes she could be clumsy, she wasn't going to deny it. She just got up, brushed herself off, fixed her scarf and jacket, and looked to the human male, but it was already too late. He had already interacted with the group, and Yona wouldn't be surprised if he ended up joining the team, from some sort of situation. But it would also mean that their team was full, and that it would just be a complete waste to finish the raffle tickets. She was just glad she wasn't getting pulled into it. She couldn't stand the Orc, or half blood, or whatever. The other Evieres had even ran away, Enfys looking for the raffle box, and Shiori, well he just completely had it, and stormed out to his dorm.
Enfys (played by Kikarotaku)

Eyeing the campus diligently for a raffle container, Enfys skulked in the shadows. She was not only searching, but was people watching as well. There weren't many out, mostly a small array of creatures and beings who wished to explore the campus. She assumed most of them were in their dorms decorating their rooms, setting up their desks. She should've done she same, atleast that's what she was thinking now. I should've just avoided the whole situation. Now she was doomed to live out her school days being tormented by the halfbreed Varkuul. She sighed heavily and came to a stop, leaning against a far wall near the main affairs chamber.

"Box box, who's got the box..." The tall Eviere girl looked around, peaking out from under her hood. Then she got an idea. Hmmm... She kicked off the wall and turned the corner into what would be the main office, tail trailing behind her and flicking excitedly. Finally I'll be off the hook, she thougt as she stepped through the door and peered into the room. Low and behold, there was a box there with some books, lenders for the classes. She looked around and went to quietly empty the box and pocket one of the books, then quickly slipped out unheard, heading back towards the court where the raffle station was.

As she reared the corner she disappeared behind earlier, she heard what seemed to be a quieting ruckus. Oh lord what has he done now... And having spotted the girl with the ink so quaintly sprung onto her forehead, and hearing the slam of Shiori's dorm door slam, she slowed her gate, box neatly tucked under her arm, and stood just a hundred feet away looking quite perplexed. "Um...."
Varkuul Mastahnsus (played by TwentySide) Topic Starter

As Varkuul began to tug the girl away he noticed a third Eviere, laughing absurdly over nothing as far as he could perceive. Shortly after followed Shiori's blow up, screaming at Varkuul and apologizing to the girl, before rushing off to his room. "Huh, what made him so angry?" Varkuul questioned with genuine confusion. "One of the others must have said something to upset him." Varkuul began to ponder the possibilities of how it may have transcribed. 'Perhaps someone mentioned a dead relative? What if it was his mother!? Oh no! That must be it, that explains everything!' His face went from worried to terrified and then to sorrow as he began to form Shiori's backstory in his head. He then lifted his head with resolve as he decided to finish up here before going after Shiori.

Just as he'd finished a human male arrived and held out a handkerchief. Varkuul smiled and grabbed it from his hand, using it to wipe off his forehead and neck before handing it back. "Thanks I'd really worked up a sweat after all that work." Then he noticed the girl who'd been laughing before show up behind him. "Don't tell me... You and your girlfriend want to join team Victory too!? Well after such a kind gesture I suppose it would be rude of me to turn you two down. Welcome to the party!" He smiled widely, yet again, jumping to conclusions before asking questions. "Huh, guess we don't really need a raffle anymore do we?" He laughed at the now pointless endeavor, having single handedly forced an entire group of people into a party against their will.

He then noticed Enfys had returned. "Hey! Turns out we don't need the box anymore. We already got the members we needed. Oh, but Shiori kinda ran off to his so I have to go get him back. You deal with the new members while I go fetch him!" He yelled to her as he started running off mid explanation. His long legs pulled him to his destination swiftly as he arrived at the door he'd seen Shiori go into not long ago. He then regained his composure before knocking firmly on the door. Unfortunately for him this had turned out to be the door of the room right next to Shiori's. "He called out loudly. "Shiori! Come out the team wants to apologize for what they said! Oh! Also, we have all the members we need so you can make as many paper animals as you want now!" Varkuul was certain this was just the bait he'd need to catch Shiori.
Shiori (played anonymously)

Shiori was sitting quietly against the door, knees pulled up and arms wrapped around his favorite amphora. The ancient vase was one of his favorite pieces of his collection, so it was an easy choice to bring with him to the school. That, as well as an ornate dream catcher, crystal ball, and a few other minor things he was mainly still researching. They were all comforting to be around, especially the amphora, with its soft glaze depicting some soldiers mid-battle and its silk scarf tied through its two handles, which happened to be the perfect size to hug. Of course, he would never admit the fact that he still had such a comfort blanket.

The brief air of peace and tranquility was all too soon interrupted by none other than Varkuul, who was begging him to come out and rejoin team Victory again. Not in a million years, Shiori thought. Setting the amphora aside and rolling onto his belly to peek under the door, he discovered that the half-orc wasn't even at the right door. Amazing. He would at least listen to his terms. Of course, Varkuul was shifting the blame to everyone else again, promising him an apology from the rest of the team rather than saving his breath and simply uttering a 'sorry'. Shiori sighed audibly and sat up again, pulling the amphora back into his arms.

"Whatever would the team be apologizing for?" he responded, instantly regretting that he'd opened his mouth. He was a bit startled at how unsteady his voice sounded. Come on, Shiori, pull yourself together. If he was going to sulk, he'd better at least sulk stoically.
Nino Lucas Klaus (played anonymously)

Feeling a brief brush of someones fingers was enough to make Nino glanced over his shoulder. However when he did glance it was in time to see a female eviere fall face first. Guilt was like a poison or a virus, attacking the veins first and then slowly working its one into your system. Until it worked it's way to your heart and brain, and Nino had caught it. Not even a hand being thrust out into the open was enough to stop her from falling.

Almost like the finishing touches to a cake Nino was pretty sure she wanted to warn him about the orc, the same one who took the handkerchief from his hand. In pure astonishment he blinked, grasping for words that simply didn't exist. Sure there were plenty of people like him but he didn't expect to see them in a school like this, he winced at such a crude thought. No matter the type of person or species everyone had a right to do what he or she wanted, even if that was using a handkerchief for themselves while it was offered to another. Still not sure in what to say he smiled, some how 'you're welcome ' didn't feel right.

Nino looked toward the only human, gave her a small smile and mouthed 'sorry'. Now this was while the half blood was still taking, more like opening his mouth and inserting his foot, especially when he assumed that Nino knew the poor eviere that fell.

"Wait...what? What's this about.."Nino trailed off, recalling she had yet to stand.

He, wanted to help and apologize for her falling, went to her. This boy was smart though. He was not going to assume she was a damsel in distress anymore than the other young lady, so he held out his hand. Oh how he loved gloves, they covered his birthmarks beautifully.

"Well, first off I'd like to say this is the first day I've met this little eviere, precious gem that she is. This being said, she is not my girlfriend."Nino explained.

"Secondly, why not combine forces with him. Yeah, he's loud and a little obnoxious he's probably an amazing fighter. Raw power right there but no stealth. The guy could get himself into trouble without someone to hold him back." He pointed out.

(sorry for the wait, and if this seems a little rushed. )
Enfys (played by Kikarotaku)

The tall eviere blinked, becoming increasingly frustrated with Varkuul. She strode over, tail flicking in irritation, and plopped the box on the table. "Good afternoon," she spoke to the mass, with clear attitude in her voice, after Nino had made it clear about his relations, or lack there of, with the smaller eviere girl. "As you might have noticed, that lumbering oaf bent on terrorizing Shiori over there is the menace of a life time." Enfys' ears twitched a bit under her hood. She turned to Amon, her voice lowered. "I'm sorry you had to deal with that thing." She eyed the mark on the human's face. "I can only imagine that was his doing." She pulled a handkerchief from her pocket, gently grabbed the human's hand and placed it there.

Enfys glanced at the eviere and the human, lifting an eyebrow, then strode away, her hands returned to her pockets. "If any of you need me I'll be hiding in my dorm." And with that she slipped around the corner and disappeared down the hall, pulling her key out and quickly locking the door behind her. She left the keyhole untouched so she could use it as a peephole. Then flopped on her bed and groaned. Dear lord...
Yukitachi Yona (played anonymously)

She blew a strand of black hair out of her face, and sighed. Great. She was stuck in this now, she was hoping she wouldn't get noticed. Though that was hard, as she had just faceplanted right in front of them. Oh darn. Mouthing 'Thanks' to the robed human, she took his hand and pulled herself up. Looking at the others, she tried to explain. "Yeah, he isn't my boyfriend, I don't exactly know him. Anyways, I should probably introduce myself, I am Yona. Sorry for laughing at you, um, what are your names?" Yona was thinking she should shake everyone's hand, but she would probably get flipped around in the process. Yona watched the taller female Eviere leave, she didn't blame her. She would probably do the same. "So, what now, since the raffle is over?" She tilted her head slightly. Oh, what are they to do now? She looked around, awkwardly, with her hands in her pockets, looking for something to do to kill time. She patiently awaited for classes, where she could separate herself hopefully from Varkuul. The others seemed decent. She honestly didn't think she was going to socialize much while attending this school, just try to improve her skills more.
Varkuul Mastahnsus (played by TwentySide) Topic Starter

Varkuul looked over to the door from which Shiori's voice resonated and side stepped his way over until he was in front of the correct door. "They'll apologize for bringing up your dead mother! I swear they'll never mention it again." He spoke somewhat pleadingly, showing that even though he was incapable of taking blame upon himself, he was still genuine in his interest to bring Shiori back to the group. Suddenly out of the corner of his eye he saw Enfys leaving towards her room. "Wait never mind Shiori I think they're all getting ready to head in for the night. I'll just have to make them apologize tomorrow. Good night Shiori!" He ran off towards the common room to finish his 'initiation' of the new members.

Arriving in the common area where the other three members resided, he made his way over to the group. "Alright team, We'll be up bright and early tomorrow to get ready for the day. If none of you have any questions left then we should all make our way back to our rooms soon and get some rest." He smiled brightly at them, completely unaware of the collective disdain they likely all harbored for him. Though surprisingly, for once he didn't just dart off before listening to what anyone had to say.
