Shiori narrowed his eyes. That was a strange conclusion for the scaly orc to come up with, not to mention completely false. "My mother is alive, thank you," he replied to the door, although as soon as he'd said it, he could already hear Varkuul talking again and stomping away down the hall.
Sleep? It didn't feel all that late, but he supposed they would have to be up early in the morning for a class or some-other anyway. After sitting still for another several minutes, Shiori pulled himself to his feet, carefully set his amphora back on the provided dresser, and went about getting ready for bed. Sleep, he decided, would be a good way for him to put space between the events of today and tomorrow. More so, he doubted Varkuul would be able to bother him much from behind a locked door.

"Yeah, yeah. Night." She walked off, not looking back at the others, and waving to them. Her hands shot back into her pockets to fish out the small key, and jam it into the keyhole. She shut the door softly behind her, and rubbed her eyes. Yona took a random pair of pajamas, stripped down, and twenty minutes later she was showered and clothed. "Damn... I'm so tireddd..." Yawning, she flopped onto the bed, she would probably wake up at like 4 or 5 o'clock tomorrow. She would be too hyped to go back to sleep, so the female would probably explore the vast hallways of the school more. Maybe grab something to eat before it was too late and she would be dragged into some sort of team meeting with the others. If the whole team project was at the end of the school year, or so she thought, why did they have to rush into things? At least not till the middle of the school year, correct? How big was this so called, 'test'? She wasn't good at teamwork, that's for sure. She was pretty introverted and liked spending time alone. Yona also asked too many questions, even if she didn't say them out loud. Before long, her eyes started to feel like weights, and she couldn't fight it for much longer.
Do'hasta came back to the dorm rooms, later that night. He had so much fun exploring! The sights, the smells! So different from his homeland. Sure his tribe traveled a lot, but it was always sand, sand, and more endless sand. So BORING!
While he was out, he had some fruit he'd never seen before and climbed cacti that had no quills that each rose high above his head! He never saw such a large oasis before, too. People were just walking around it like it normal! He just had to jump in. He took a quick rinse while he was there. Who knew when he would get another chance to bathe? People were looking at him as he did so. Guess they wanted to join, but had other things to do.
He even met some really energetic people! They just wanted to run and play tag, but he wouldn't let them catch him! He figured they must have had gotten hungry with all of the running because they were yelling something about fruit. He didn't know why they didn't just get some from the old lady's stall like he did when he was running around. What a nice old lady. She even waved him goodbye as he left. But she had her hand closed like a fist. The customs were strange here.
Do'hasta dug into his pocket and took out his key. He entered his room and fell asleep, satisfied with his eventful day.

Well seemed no one wanted to join her team. Which Amon had suggested because really she was bad at making friends. She looked to the only other human who had tried to make it sound like being on the half orc's team would be good, good if you wanted to baby sit someone all the time. "So far you've managed to point out more cons than pros." Amon stated bluntly. The half orc may be strong but that was it and pure unchecked strength was useless and might even get people killed, seeing how dull the lizard orc was. She wasn't going to put herself on a team that would raise her chances of being killed because she would have to constantly watch the lizard and would most likely be unable to help him because of how hard headed he was. No thank you. She would gladly go through everything by herself if she had to.
The other Eviere excused herself, going to her room most likely. Which Amon thought would be a good example to follow. However before she could leave the black haired Eviere introduced herself as Yona. Well it seemed sensible that they should all know each other's names at least. "I'm Amon." She said curtly to the Eviere as she could see the half orc coming up to them all. He said that they should all be up early the next morning to which Amon scoffed at, she'd be doing her own thing, without being endangered by the half breed. If everyone else wanted to be on his team because they felt bad for him and thought they could use his raw strength they could for all she cared. She wasn't going to get killed because of someone's stupid actions and inability to think.
Yona excused herself to her room and Amon decided it was best to leave now as well. She turned sharply on her heels and walked away without saying anything. Once at her door Amon walked inside and locked it. It was tempting to put some kind of rune up to ward off unwanted guests but she thought that might be a bit over the top. So the human woman changed into her night ware and settled down in her bed to get some sleep.

Just as the sun peeked over the horizon and shown into Varkuul's room, his eyes jumped open and he immediately sat up. A smile greeted his face as he realized he could now go and awake all of his new team members. It was almost as though some malevolent force was controlling him with no other agenda than to make these poor individuals' lives miserable. He dressed himself into his armor and sprang out the door on his way to gather the party.
His first stop on his journey was the front desk, which had seemingly been open all night. Varkuul retrieved the room numbers of each of the members from the girl at the front desk. Varkuul decided that in order to wake them up he'd go about pounding on all of their doors, switching between them rapidly in order to make sure they all wake up at once. As he did so he shouted out to them "Get up it's time for our first day of training!" As per usual he acted without care for the other students around, causing some of them to open their doors to see what all the commotion was.
Finally after he was confident that he'd been as obnoxious as possible, he moved to the common room and waited patiently for them to march in. He stood at the same table which they'd sat at the previous day, figuring it would make a decent gathering place. He couldn't wait to tell them his plans for the day. His plans that he quickly came to realize he'd never made.

Yona groaned as she heard the deafening pounds on her door. She was up already, but only for ten minutes. She was in the middle of brushing her teeth, she was already clothed and ready to go otherwise. Her plans were to explore the academy, and hopefully grab something to eat, but fate said otherwise. A small dagger was strapped to her side, and she gurgled water in her mouth before spitting it out and double checking she had everything. Her knife, key, and two hair clips were all she brought, and she left the small, comforting space of her room to meet the other student. "Morning." plopping herself on the couch in a comfortable position, she waited for Varkuul's response and for the others to come out.
Enfys yawned as she strolled the outskirts of the courtyard. She had been up for about 40 minutes, having already showered and dressed for the day, and taking a morning stroll was how she dried out her fur. Her tail would become especially floppy if she didn't air dry it. The only disadvantage is the chance to look like a bipedular fluff.
Today the humanoid had decided she would just wear her normal tunic with a belt. She didn't expect there to be any real missions today so she left her leather armor at home. Only her single dagger strapped in a sheath to her belt and sitting above her tail joint. As she felt her tail finally drying off, just barely damp, she swooshed it in the air under the morning sun and strolled back to the main dorm entry. As she slipped through the door, she was greeted with the loud disruptions of Varkuul. By now she'd recognized his voice, and his style of annoyance.
"Welp, no point in going back to my dorm." She huffed and returned to her claimed dark corner in the common room, and watched silently with her arms crossed, leaning against the wall, as Varkuul curtly took his place at the table. The first victim to succumb to his loudness, Yona, looked disheveled. Enfys shook her head as the other partial fluff ball plopped on the common dorm couch, smiling empathetically. For the time being she would stay silent and await the sleepy crown drag themselves out of their dorms.

Shiori was not so lucky as to be already awake when the alarm clock that was Varkuul thundered down the hall, thundering at everyone's doors and thundering into the commons. He jumped at the sudden noise, the front half of his body unexpectedly sliding to the floor with a dull thud. He let out an unamused groan and pulled his legs in to join the rest of him on the floor. Even ignoring the rude awakening, Shiori still felt dead tired, in part he blamed on the slight meltdown he had just before lights out. He could already feel that this day was not going to go well.
With an exasperated sigh, he emerged from his dorm a short while after, wearing a loose shirt and pants, his feet left unwrapped and his hair and tails still damp, the former reaching just past the small of his back. He trudged into the common room, sitting on the nearest seat against the side wall. He didn't look at, or even acknowledge the presence of a certain scaly orc in the room. He was upset and he was going to hold a petty grudge if he wanted to.
