"Palpal, I want to come back and see you and Jessie but I can't, it's not safe for me there and Ange still hasn't got her act together." Moriah said into the phone to her grandfather. "Thanks for understanding, I gotta go. Love you, too, Palpal." Moriah hung up the phone and handed it to her father. "I'm sorry sweetheart." Moriah shook her head. "You don't need to be Dad, Ange did this to herself. Can I go for a walk?" Moriah's father nodded. She grabbed her black jacket out of her room and walked outside to clear her head. She was still fighting with her mother and wouldn't talk to her. She saw a nearby foest and dashed inside. She shifted into her neko from, feeling more free and less stressful. She sighed at remembering that her llife was not going to get better from her running and hiding what she was from her family. Her parents didn't know that on Moriah's mother side was a long forgotten chain of Neko's and Moriah was starting the chain up again. She broke into a run and all fours, trying to forget. She climbed up a tree and sat there watching the creatures of the forest go on with their lives getting ready for the on coming winter. Her ears twitched at evey noise.

Lizzy looked at the girl. A growl came " Who are you! " She said as she stood in the shadows in her tiger form. She had cuts, wounds, and shields on her. She had been in a war and hurt badly.

Moriah nearly fell out of the tree when she heard the growl. "Oh, god. M-Moriah." She answered in a shaky voice, scared out of her mind to see a tiger.

Nomti had only been taking a walk through the woods when he came across a cat and tiger facing off. The jackal anthro froze in place, fearing that if he moved, the tiger would attack him. As a preemptive precaution, he grabbed the cycle he always carried on his walks and brandished it defensively, ready to upper cut if the need arose.

Moraih ears twitched when she heard the jackels footsteps and looked over at him from the top of the tree with pleding eyes. They were screaming for help, since she was so young and didn't know if she had any powers beside having claws, ears, and a tail.

Lizzy growled stepping from the shadows showing her injured body bleeding. " Answer me! " She said going near her tree baring her teeth snarling

Moriah looked back at the tiger, slightly shaking. She swallowed. "M-Moriah." She said in a shaky voice that was closer to a whisper.

The tiger looked like she was in serious pain, but growled threateningly. Nomti stepped in front of the tree, between the neko and tiger. He pulled out a second cycle and crossed them over his chest.
"Krag Van Anubis" he said aloud and his body transformed from that of a normal jackal anthro to that of the half man, half jackal: the Anubite, servant to the god of judgement. Nomti bared his sharp teeth at the tiger, and pointed the cycles at her, a challenge.
In this form, Nomti couldn't speak English, only the language of his ancestors.
"Laat hier nou of die gevolge," he snarled. It roughly translated to "Leave here now or suffer the consequences," but even if someone couldn't understand, it still sounded like a threat.

Lizzy looked at the girl then the guy. Her teeth bared but she was to weak. She fell to the ground in pain. She was bleeding and looked at them " lizzy "

Moriah felt sorry for Lizzy and slowly climbed down the tree. She walked slowly towards Lizzy. She stuck out her hand to show her that she meant no harm.

Lizzy looked up at the human and then slowly licked her hand. Scared she might try to kill her.

Nomti sheathed his scythes and turned back into his normal jackal anthro form, feeling that if the tiger was still a threat, she wouldn't be hard to deal with.
"Lizzy," Nomti walked over very slowly and sat down next to her, stroking her head. "I'm Nomti. Sorry I had to do that; it's a protective instinct."

Lizzy looked at him and let out a low growl " I cant beleive that " She sank to the floor turning into a serpent and hissed

Nomti took a startled step back as the tiger turned into a snake.
"You don't have to believe it, but it's true," he chided, "You were threatening that neko, so I intervened," Nomti explained. "Just because I'm young doesn't mean I can't protect someone just for the sake of protecting them, and am I trying to hurt you now, or even before?"

Lizzy's red eyes turned blue and she settled down. " maybe i can beleive you, But maybe not " She looked at him then turned into a tiger again.

"How about we all just stay calm. Lizzy do you have a human from, so that I can get you to my house and my father and I can help you." Moriah was still a little scared of Lizzy but she was able to hide it some what so she could help her.

Lizzy nodded and a light went off and she turned into a human. She had long orange hair, orange eyes with a little blue, ribbons, and i short dress. It was even worse in human form. Her arms were covered in blood and wounds, her legs were the same. But her dress had a slight were a knife had gone in her chest

Nomti looked at the tigers human form in shock. It was one thing to see a wounded tiger, but to see a girl with so many wounds and the one on her chest. The sight almost made Nomti whimper a bit.
"What on Earth happened to you?"

Lizzy looked at him and almost did a human growl " War. My land was in war. We had to flee because of the people taking over and killing. " She started to cough

Moriah gasped at Lizzy's human from. "We can find more about this later, we need to get you to my house, my father is a doctor. Nomit do you have a human from?" Moriah shifted into her human from with her normal brown/red hair, brown eyes, no claws, no cat ears, no tail, just plain human.
