''Cool!'' She exclaimed, then narrowed her eyes a bit as a police car appeared behind her. ''Is it bad my license plate only says 'CD45' with no mentioning of any state I'm from?'' She inquired, engine silrntly revving up a bit in her tense stature.
Eric pursed his lips and looked back. "Er...probably." he said sighing softly. "There's probably a lot of things wrong with you that he could bang me for...seeing as I'm the one driving." He started to get nervous too. He didn't have the money to be paying a fine for CD.
CD snirks, and her engine revs up a bit. ''What if I outrun him? He's got his lights on.'' She replied, the racing side of her yearning to outrun the common obstacles. ''Think you can handle a car going at it's max speed without crashing into a wall while taking shortcuts?'' She asked, as the cop car got closer, sirens blaring loudly.
"Lets just hope your emergency break doesn't go out too." he said as he quickly floored the pedal. "I don't plan to completely trick the guy, but how about whenever we get a bit ahead of him and turn a corner so he can see us, I'll bail and you turn into your other form. The human form. He won't know it was us because, well, you won't be a car and I won't be driving."
He smiled at his own idea. He could help but even laugh. He could just imagine the cops face whenever he turned the corner and all he saw was an android and a guy laying on the side of the road with no other cars to be seen.

CD snorts, quickly reaching her max speed of 250 with ease, engine sounding more like a racecar than anything. The police quickly gave chase, sirens wailing. ''Are you sure you won't get hurt by jumping out?'' She asked, looking a bit worried and upset.
"I didn't think your max speed would be 250." he said now slightly frightened. He looked back and breathed heavily before quickly looking back at the road.
''Well, if you need me to slow down so you can jump I can. I'm a former racecar, 'hence my speed. Not that it matters anymore, since I can't race due to brittle body build..''
"Well we'll get that fixed up for you." he said with a smile before looking back. They had a good lead on the cop. So here shortly he should jump. "Alright, there is a playground two turns up. Slow down and take the left. I'll jump out at the playground which is right behind a house after the turn and then you choose whenever you want to transform." he said as he unbuckled his belt and grabbed the bags. "Can you use your own emergency break? I'm assuming you can."
''I can use it.'' She replied, testing it breifly to somewhat slow to 249mph. She follows his orders, when her engine stalled suddenly.
"Damn!" he said. He quickly grabbed the wheel and pulled the emergency break back, forcing them to turn down the street before the one with the one with the park. He opened the door and quickly yelled, "Change! Hurry!" before he jumped out landing in a large pile of bushes. It wasn't the softest landing but it beat landing on a driveway at that speed. He got pretty banged and bruised up in the process though.
CD shifts to her human form, sliding a bit, sparks scattering as metal shifted. The impact of the shifting cracked her core a bit and she collapsed after changing, unconcious, but resting on some dirtied rocks, inn her human disquise, as the police car flew past, losing sight of the two.
As soon as Eric recovered he shot out of the bushes. "DID YOU SEE THAT! They flew right past!" he said clearly extremely excited. When he realized that she wasn't conscious though, he quickly ran over to her and tried picking her head up, not sure if it was heavy or not. She was made of metal. "Hey, CD...you okay?" he asked lightly patting her cheek.
On the other side of town, Tara was patiently waiting for Clutch. He wasn't extremely late, but she was slightly nervous. All day she was worried about what kind of trouble Eric had gotten him into. She managed to get all of her work done, but she still had thought about it almost constantly. "Clutch...where are you." she said biting the inside of her lip.

CD started to stir, cringing a bit as her core beeped lightly, cracked. ''Nnngh...Is tge cop gone?...'' She stammered, a few wires poking out from her hands, from hitting the dirt.
Clutch beeped his horn as a car cut across his front, right before he pulled into an available parking spot. "Fashionably late," he muttered as he rolled down the windows and played Tara's favorite music, hoping she was still around.
Eric huffed as he helped the, not droid, up. "Yeah he's gone. He wizzed right on by. You going to be okay?" he asked looking at her. He had been worried about her in car form, but now that she had a humanoid form, he was even more concerned. "Damn...does this form reflect how beyond gone you are in your other form??"
Tara smiled at Clutch and sighed. It was good to see him all in one piece. "You scared me. For a second i was worried that Eric had gotten you into an accident too doing god only knows what." she said as she walked over to him and climbed in the passenger's seat.

CD nods, wincing slightly. ''Trying to blend in to human soceity like this is hard. I'm pretty well over 200yrs old or so..''
Clutch chuckled. "I'd have to be on ethanol to let Eric crash me. I'm hardier than that. Besides..." he trailed off suddenly, unwilling to continue that thought. "Um, right...you don't have to worry about Eric anymore. I found something to distract him."
Feeling Tara was already buckled in, he pulled away from the curb. "Anyway, how was work?"

Eric blinked and sighed. "Well...we are going to have to get you patched up. Tara should be attempting to make connections at her work. Maybe one of them will be able to help. I'm not sure how much Tara knows about AI computers and software. Do you want me to carry you maybe? I mean...if you aren't super heavy that is." He asked not sure if she was going to make it like this. "Did you hurt anything super bad?"
Tara's brows furrowed whenever Clutch paused. "Besides what?" she asked ignoring his question about work and his comment about getting Eric distracted with other things.

''My core got cracked from sliding into the dirt..'' She replied, wincing again. ''It's damaged.''
Clutch opted to play soothing music in the background. "Besides what?" he echoed her question. "I found Eric something to distract him from racing--isn't that amazing?! I didn't think it could be done!"
