Clutch sighed in relief, hearing CD's voice and then feeling his AI sensor return to its normal soft pinging.
Tara quickly stepped back and sighed heavily and looked over to Eric, "Yeah, what did happen to her?"
Eric gulped and bit his lip. "Well, we were being chased and then she changed mid range to throw them off and well...it didn't go over so well. She was going a little bit faster than nessisary and her core cracked...so i brought her back here and she was leaking." he said rubbing the back of his head.

''I don't remember hitting the ground..'' CD replied, looking upset.
Clutch just listened; he hadn't been there for that, but he paid rapt attention to what was being said. And winced at the mention of the cracked core.
Tara sighed. "No wonder you don't remember. You most likely lost some of your memory. You lost a little bit of your juice. It'll be likely that you won't remember somethings. I'm honestly surprised you remember Eric and Clutch. By the way, it's very nice to meet you. My name is Tara. I guess you could say I look out for these two." She stood up as she spoke and glared over at Eric who looked down knowing that it had been a fairly bad idea. Tara shook her head and sighed, "I'm going to have to read up on my books and keep looking at you almost daily until I get your core actually fixed. I have to make sure there are no leaks." she moved over to CD and lightly patted her hood. She then looked over at Clutch. "You okay there Clutch?"
''I just remember waking up when we go here.''
"I'm fine; it's CD who needs the help." He chimed in quickly enough. It was true too; he wasn't above letting a car who needed more help than him cut first. Of course it helped that he liked CD too.
Tara sighed and quickly glared over at Eric. "And this is why racing his back you nit." She looked back at CD. The way she had said 'i just remember waking up here' make it sound like that was ALL she remembered. "How much over all do you remember?"
''Urrm......?'' She replied, looking lost beyond her limit. ''Just waking up hre and seeing Eric and Clutch.''
Tara stared at her for a second. "That's really all you remember? Do you remember meeting Clutch? Anything before Clutch?" she asked slightly panicked. There may be more wrong than she had originally thought.
''All I can remember is hitting the ground, them I blacked out and woke up to find myself here. Is that bad? I can remember Eric and Clutch. And I can barely recall how I met Clutch.''
"Y-you don't remember how we met?" Clutch asked, heartbroken. Or he would have been had he possessed one. "You were my witness for the hit and run that that lemon pulled!"
''S-s-sorry....'' She replied meakly. ''My cores damaged, and most of the memory inside of it has been altered. I can remember that, but not much of anything else. Nor can I remember why I waas at that road...''
Tara looked at CD worried and then looked over to Clutch. "Lets see if anything returns after a bit of time. Although she didn't lose a lot of juice, as she said her memory has been altered because of the leak. It may take some time for her to remember if she remembers anything at all. I'll call up a few of my old colleagues and try to talk to a few of the guys in the deveolpment department tomorrow. I'll just say it's a hypothetical situation so we don't have to worry about them coming around snooping. As for you," she turned to Eric, "stay out of the cars. You may know how to fix them but you certainly can not keep them in good condition." She turned and walked off into the house to go dig out her books.
Eric pouted and looked over to the two cars. "So...CD...you're breaks still need changing. Do you trust me enough to do that?"

Clutch settled down, listening and waiting for either Tara to return with new information or to see if CD remembered anything more.
''Changing breaks isn't as harmful as crashing.'' She inquired. ''But sure.''
Eric smiled weakly and stood up quickly grabbing the stuff he needed for the change. He the asked her to pull into the garage. "Hey Clutch...are we still going to be doing races?" he asked nervously.
CD pulls into the garage carefully, snorting.
ERic's brows furrowed together and he looked over at CD. "Don't you huff at me!" he said before turning back to Clutch waiting for an answer.
"Ummm," Clutch began and then trailed off. "I don't know; if this is what happens after a race--I don't think Tara would like it much."
He paused. "Will Tara be able to fix CD? How long will it take?"
