Eric watched CD carefully and then turned back to Clutch. "Come on. Drive up and then turn off so I can fill you." he said as he stretched yawning. "Also, keep in mind you have to go pick up Ms. Prissy from work." he said waiting. He then turned to Cd and blinked as she experimented with her windshield wipers."Um...? Those are your wipers. Have you never used them before or something or are you having a momentary lapse." he asked raising an eyebrow at the car.

''So these are wipers?'' She inquired. ''No, not a relapse. I've never noticed them before.'' CD replied. The wipers shorted out and stopped working, stopping in a down position. It flipped a small wire there by accident, and her cameras went out of operation, leaving her eyes whited out. ''......Now all I see is blackness.'' She said, windsheild purely white.

"I won't forget. I've still got half an hour." Clutch pulled forward to the gas tank and switched his engine off. For the moment he was blind, deaf, and dumb to his surroundings.

Eric started filling Clutch up whenever he heard CD say something about seeing nothing. He left the pump to finished filling Clutch up before he walked over to CD. He lightly picked up the wipers and blinked whenever the windshield turned another color. "Can you see now?" he asked looking back at the pump periodically to make sure the gas was alright.

Her cameras turned back on when Eric moved the wipers. ''Well, now I can...What was wrong this time?'' She asked, brown eyes looking at him questionably.

Eric lifted up one of the wind shields and saw the wires protruding. "Well, i think you are going to need a lot of work done. There is some wires coming out under you wipers." he said with a smile. He then moved back over to Clutch and took out the pump whenever it turned off. "Alright." he put it back and then turned Clutch back on to run in for his last 5 or so dollars. "Clutch, you alright?" he asked knowing how Clutch had woken up weird the last time.

A few seconds passed as Clutch's internal processors came back to life.

"I'm good," Clutch replied. "Aaah, nothing like a full tank of gas. Thank you. How is CD?"

''My windsheild wipers tripped the wire that connects to my cameras. The wires are very thin, and easily broken if ones not careful.''

"Urg, I hate driving blind," said Clutch, testing his sensors just to make sure they were still working. They were.

''I do have tiny sensors, but those are mostly in my tires, and thats to identify terrain and adjust my bearings to fit the terrain it detects. But I can't..Uuuh... guarantee that their working properly due to water damage. So when my cameras go out I cant see anything but pitch blackness, and my eyes turn white. It takes a lot of heavy duty wiring inside, though, to scan surroundings and take the feedback to my processors to produce an image in viewing...'' She rambled on.

(CD seems to be a bit too smart to ramble on about the smallest things.....)

"Tara is going to have to find someone super smart to help fix you." he said as he stretched, not really sure what she was talking about. "That's too much mumbo jumbo for me. Especially if you need new tires. Normal tires don't come with sensors so whenever you need new ones you most likely are going to have to go without. I don't think anyplace I know of has tires like that." He then opened CD's door before stopping. "Hey Clutch, you best get downtown to pick up Tara. You only have 20 minutes now." he said pursing his lips. "In the meanwhile, I'm going to pick up new breaks for rusty butt here and start taking care of that."

''Mumbo jumbo to me is general built-in knowledge. My sensors are just wires connected to the hubcaps, detachable in case of changing and such. An---.................I AM NOT RUSTY BUTT!'' Horn honking angryly. ''Rust means I'm old.'' She grumbled. ''I used to be pretty back in the day..''

"Ooooh." Clutch ooh-ed and ahh-ed as she spoke about sensors and whatnot. "Totally tricked out..."

Eric's reminder jarred him back to the present. "Right. Tara. I'll catch you two later...maybe," he added recalling CD's top speed before her brakes gave out. He beeped as he headed off.

The moment his tires touched road, his wheels squealed and he took off with an exaggerated tire spin and a load of honks from cars behind him. He cackled as he overheard CD's response to her new nickname.

"Welp you aren't too pretty now." he said as he climbed into her. "You do have a foundation to work with though so that's a start." he said as he carefully backed her up and then headed off to the auto parts store. "So anything else you might need while we are there?" he asked her keeping one hand on the wheel and one hand on the emergency break.

She snorts. ''I don't know what I'll need. You think I'be been around common places to you before? The only regions I know is that dead-end road near the interstate where my base used to be, and where I met Clutch. All I know is that I need new brakes, and whatever else you think is wrong with me.'' She replied. ''And I'm missing a headlight..''

"Well I haven't looked at your insides rusty. So I guess I'll throw on the breaks and a new head light if they have what you need and wait till I'm working on your breaks to inspect you." he said with a soft sigh. "A headlight and breaks. Do you know the specifications for either of them?" he asked thinking about that now.

''Each are standard fit for general cars and basic mechanical vechicles of a general standard era of any year. So both are generic brands, hence why they both are damaged easily.''

"I'll try to grab you a better brand then." he said as he pulled up to the store. He then got out and spent almost 10 minutes in the store, looking over the different brands and such all the while comparing prices too. Of course, the better breaks and headlights were more expensive. He came back out with a bag though and climbed in. "Alright. Back to the house." he said heading out once more."

''How'd it go?'' She asked once he got back. ''Was it hard to find any parts you needed?'' Her remaining headlight turned on as the sky was starting to turn dark slightly.

"Meh, not really. They kept trying to sell me everything under the moon when I pointed you out though." he said with a slight smile. Of course that was a lie though. No one had even come over to even attempt to help him out. He had been in there enough that most of the guys knew that he didn't need help. He just liked to look at all the different options. He just wanted to get a rise out of CD.
