Here i was sitting and thinking about, who else out there is just as crazy with the series as me?
and wonder which character are the people's favorite :)

For me it's a hard decision because I love them all, i have a particular weakness for Dorian Gray and Jekyll&Hyde and of course Dracula but.. Rory Kinnear as the Creature aka John Clare is just i have no words.. really beautiful, and well thought out.. and also is Harry Treadaway aka Dr. Victor Frankenstein - obviously they two are my favorite <3

What about yours?
Hi Technology!

I have indeed watched this show. Or I tried to. I watched the first two episodes from the first season but stopped half-way through the third. I just couldn't. There wasn't a lot of action in what I watched to keep me hooked. Just a lot of plot and sex. A LOT OF SEX. Like at least one steamy scene per episode. And it was like an Showtime show so it was pretty revealing for a television show. LOL

As for favorite characters, I really like the four main characters.

Sir Malcolm, Vanessa, Ethan (Josh Hartnett is the best), and Victor.

Also when I first saw Dorian, I immediately hated him XD

I'm not saying the show was bad, just that I like it a lot and wished they toned down the adult content a bit.

I'm looking forward to see the next episode, my favorite character is Ethan.

I understand well your opinion, about season one.
It is also hard to understand, when you have only seen a few episodes of the series.
You may have right in there is alot of sex, but i have not really notice it lol.
I think it's because i also see game of thrones, and yeah, adult content is in every goddamn episode XD.

I think the reason I love the series, because it's pretty "Deep" - psychologically, and I am quite a big fan of that.

Yes Dorian can seem quite irritating, but his character is more than that. we have not heard enough about him, after my opinion. :D

My fascination with him, stems probably most after I've seen the movie Dorian Gray.

Hmm, yes I've watched only two episodes, quite the intersting show though!
I watch the show. I enjoy the aesthetic and style of it, although I think the actual story so far has been pretty rubbish and predictable. My biggest problem with it is how boring the werewolf effect is on Talbot. I understand it's a tv budget but c'mon, even a latex costume would be better than 1920's style Lon Chaney Jr Wolfman.

I think what I like best about it is the production values of the Victorian setting - very authentic looking - and the acting. Especially Timothy Dalton and Eva Green; those two are theatrical powerhouses. The really stellar parts of the show are always the bottle-episodes focusing entirely on the backstory of Vanessa Ives. She gets at least one a season.
