Hi everyone!
I've been rping for about 3-4 years, on and off, and got started mainly because of my love of Harry Potter. I'm an avid fantasy reader and reading and writing are my two biggest passions in life. (I spend about two hours a day reading, at least. :p )I mainly enjoy fantasy rps but I'm also interested in horror and supernatural genres. I've also never tried sci-fi but would love to try that sometime as well.
I'm hoping to improve my writing and roleplaying skills on here. I'm especially hoping to practice shorter posts, where the plot moves faster. As that's another aspect I'd like to practice: plotting.
Um, I have two lovely cats and adore all animals. I'm hoping to one day have enough land to own a couple of dogs, some goats, chickens, and maybe sheep! I work in a hospital as a secretary but I'm studying herbalism, in the hopes to one day specialize in making herbal remedies.
Also, I'm really shy. ^^

Heh. Welcome to the RP Repository. I'm sure you'll find yourself fitting in, because a lot of people here are pretty shy as far as I've observed in the introductions posts. Everyone here is really sweet and generous, so I bet you'll have a lot of fun finding some roleplay partners.
Rolepalying is a great way to improve any vocabulary skill because if you enjoy roleplaying in an orderly fashion, then you like to have some proper grammar and make things more... luring, making your characters draw in other roleplayers and their characters.
I've always wanted to have a lot of livestock, anyway, hope your dream comes true!

Welcome to rpr! I'm Bonebag, the resident off topic overlord. I frequent the Just Talkin' chat, but rarely rp (makes me a bit of an oddity around these parts
). Anyway, the community here is pretty great, I've liked it enough to stick around for 5 1/2 years: everybody is pretty nice, there's tons of people to rp with, and after you get your bearings after first joining, there are groups here that cater to every style of rp.I suggest roaming the different subforum and lurking a bit to get a feel for the place. There are always some good discussions to be had as well: don't let being new stop you from participating

I was so excited to hear that you're interested in practicing the art of short, fast moving posts! They can be so amazing and engaging when done well, but some people are afraid they'll be judged if they produce less than a several paragraphs every post. Personally, lightning round RP is some of my favorite!
