''Easy for you to say. I have horns!''
64 looked thoughtful, then grinned, "I have an idea..."
He ran ahead, purchasing something in a store.
He ran back, "You have a cape... so..."
He placed a tophat on Elder's head.
He was then silent, looking away, puffing up his cheeks, then turned fully away, hitting the alley wall.
"...Pfftt..." His shoulders shook as he tried not to laugh.

Elder looked at it silently. ''And your sure no ones going to remove this to see whats underneath?'' He asked, eyes squinting. ''Are you...Laughing?''
64 looked back, his face red, stiffling laughter, "I'm sorry..."
He inhaled deeply, putting his hand on Elder's shoulder gently.
"No one should bother trying to remove someone else's hat. It just... It sooo doesn't suit you..."

(i can imagine Elder's giving him a constant glare with the tophat. )
''Well, as long as no tries touching my tail blade, I'm fine with this..Hat.'' Elder replied, tensing up a bit. ''Let's continue forward before someone sees us here.'' He inquired, eyes twitching. ''Or cats. I hate cats.''

(Ha ha! Yes. 64 means good! Really! ... Okay maybe he found it too funny to pass up too. ;p )
64 nodded, "Yeah, let's. Being caught now would be way too horrible. I mean barely starting."
He began walking, making sure Elder kept up.

Elder kept up at a good pace, cape blowing breifly in the dull winds. ''So how come you weren't..You know...Scared of me when you saw me?''
64 looked back smiling a bit.
"Well... look at me. I'm a freak too. I have a tail that eats things.
I'm a wanted slave. I've seen odder creatures than you on the market, and at least you're friendly."

He flinched. ''I'm friendly when I want to be..'' Recalling the day he had got out from the lab, shuddering a bit, stumbling. ''Even if I lost some fingers in a mild fight between my freedom.''
64 smiled a bit, "I know you are."
He then frowned at Elder's next words, "...Well, we're gunna keep you free."
He grinned. "So come on. Let's get out of this town before they find us."

Elder nods and continues heading down the alley, flimching if he heard some kids playing from the buikdings within. He remembered that he had had a family once. With his own kids, only to lose them at the moment he had needed them the most. Even his wife had ran away from him without knowing that this was him. He shut his eyes tightly, shaking a bit. ''Even she..Left me..''
(posting in case person i'm rp'ing with forgot thread)
64 walked alongside him quietly, looking around to keep an eye out for any people.
"...She..?" He asked at the words, looking both concerned and curious.
"Are you okay Elder?" He asked softly.

Elder covered his face, shaking. ''She....M...My wife...''
64 frowned, walked over to him and gently touching the others arm.
"...I'm sorry."
"...I'm sorry."
''She...She left me....''
64 sighed a bit, rubbing Elder's arm gently.
"Being the type of things we are, it's hard for people to accept us."
He looked down to the ground, "I guess I'm lucky, I don't even remember my family."
He looked back to Elder, "So for me there's nothing to miss. You however... I feel bad for."
He took the other's hand in a comforting gesture, gently.
"But you have to get past it. You are what you are now. And your focus now is to find a safe place.
A place where you won't be hunted. The rest will come later."

He nodded and continued forward, shaking a bit. The sky was darkening with night, and his eyes were starting to droop. But he kept on walking in the alley, listening and somrtimes stumbling.
64 felt terrible for the poor guy. Turned into such a thing and lost everything.
He had always wanted a family so badly, wishing and wanting for something to hold onto.
He couldn't imagine the pain of having it, and losing it.
He followed Elder closely.
"...We should find somewhere to stay for the night. You probably need a good rest.'

''Where to rest without getting killed?'' He asked, wavering again. He fell down, but got back up, barely awake. ''Nnngh...No..Not here...''
