A young man was dumping his trash and waste in a nearby river, what he didn't notice was a young girl standing there watching with an disgusted glare in her eyes. She wa;led over to the man and slapped the waste out of the man's hand. "Hey--" The man was cut off by the girl gripping his neck. "You will pay with your life for the lives you have killed for your sins. This river is now dying because you decided that your waste needs to be there." The girl pulled out a switch blade knife. "In the name of Mother Nature, this well be your last night." The girl stabed the blade in the man's chest, right where his heart is. When she removed the blade blood soaked the man's shirt, and soaked hers as well. She droppped the man's lifeless body. "You did this to yourself." She said to the man's body.

Half a mile downriver, a young female elf sat on a tree branch gazing down into the water below her. Both hands were wrapped around the tree branch, and she suddenly shivered. Something bad was happening to the tree she was connected with.

She leaped down to the ground, severing her tie with the tree instantly, and knelt on the bank to look into the water. There, floating past, was a piece of trash. And, she sharpened her eyes, was that blood?

She jumped back to her feet and felt for the dagger at her side. Whoever was polluting the water was also killing her trees. A more determined look crossed her eyes as she once again climbed the tree and wove her way upstream amongst the interconnecting tree branches lining the riverbank.

The young girl tossed the corpose in the water. "Let the river do what it please to your corpose." The girl said. She turned and started to walk away her long ocean blue hair twisting in the wind. She stopped when she caught the scent of a elf but she decided to leave the small creature alone. She only wanted to kill humans who destoried all that Mother Nature had given them.
Selfish humans. The girl though. She walked down the river only ten feet away from the elf but she couldn't see the elf. She placed a hand on waters surface. "In high heavens let this stream live to surive a sinful humans mistake." She whispered the pray for the river's life.

Perched in her tree overhead, Myna froze as much from surprise in seeing the figure toss a corpse into the river, as the sudden magic that issued forth from the prayer.

Who was this person? And why did they pollute the river with a dead body? Myna scowled, her hand fixed on the dagger at her side.

"What did you do that for?" Myna demanded. "You just polluted the water with a corpse."

Caroline watched from the tree. Her eyes looked at her and she jumped down " Who are you two? " She pointed her finger at them

The girl didn't remove her eyes from the river's surface. "I let the river choose what it wants to do to the sinful human." She sighed and stood. "He got what he dervsed." Rokka looked at the girl who asked of who the girl was. "Who I am is not important."

Caroline looked and grabbed a dagger and through it at the girl. It hit the metal and bounced off " that could have been you "

Myna immediately crouched in the grass, one hand clutching her dagger, the other on a root of a nearby tree. She waited for another attack, ready to react if she needed to.

"I don't really care who you are," she said guardedly to the other two, "but I'd prefer it if you stop killing people and washing their bodies downstream. The trees don't like it and the bodies get bloated."

Nicolas walked in the forest he was now a man on the run. He walked to the edge of the forest where it met a flowing river. He stopped to wash his face and to calm his thoughts. This was not a time to panic. It was a time to think and plot. As he washed his face in the flowing water he noticed something odd. From a distance it looked like a log floating down stream. Yet on closer inspection it was clearly not a log at all but a body.

Nicolas rushed to the body to see if he could give aid. However once he reached the body it was clear that the man had been dead for a while. So he pulled the corpse from the river. He looked over the body. It was fairly easy to tell how the man had died. A clear knife wound to the chest. That was about all he could tell from the body. So he now searched the corpse to see if he could find a name or any sort of ID. Finding none Nicolas took what usable items he could from the corps and then proceeded to bury the man with a simple wooden cross to mark the grave.

Having finished his task he continued along the river. He walked up stream to see what he could find. If nothing else he hoped to find the murderer and ask a few questions of him or her. Not knowing why the man was killed bothered him. Death was something to be taken seriously and so was dumping a body in a river.

Nicolas was about a mile down stream from the fight and currently down wind. He could only see movement in the distance and barely sense the smell of people. Yet he continued walking in that direction in hopes of getting answers to his questions.

The girl narrowed her eyes at the woman who throw the dagger. She picked up the dagger and examed it. "If I were you, I wouldn't test your luck with me, I don't think twice about killing a lowlife human." The girl hissed before walking back in the dircetion she came in.

Myna watched the situation attempt to diffuse itself, but she remained wary. "Where do you plan to go now?"

She was wondering if she shouldn't follow to ensure no one else got hurt. Though it was clear this stranger thought highly of herself and her power, when she heard someone approaching.

"We've got company," she muttered, turning to look downriver.

Caroline turned to the human and then faded in mid air

The young girl sighed. "Where I go is not important to you, or really anyone." The girl was about to head for the woods she came out of but she saw someone at the other end of the river blocking her path. She had to think where she was going to head: into town or into the ocean.

Nicolas walked up to the three women watching as the one faded into nothing. Still he stood awkward as the conversation clearly ended with his arrival. He looked to the two girls still remaining. He paused for a moment.

"Hello ladies. I am Nicolas Faust." He bowed to them politely then stood waiting for a reply. He did not know how they might react as they were previously fighting. Situations like this can often turn ugly for the newest member joining the mix. So he stood calmly yet prepared for a fight should it arise.

Caroline appeared behind him and had a knife " why are you here "

"Why are any of us here?" He responded to the voice emanating from behind him. He could only assume that the third woman had come back. Now thinking this to be a lopsided fight two women infront of him and one behind. It was something he could win but not without a price. For the moment he could only stand calm and keep a hidden hand on the hilt to his sword.

"I'm guessing it was the body, right?" Myna asked Nicolas. He had come from downstream after all. She turned to Rokka. "I told you dumping the body in the river was a bad idea."

She straightened from her crouch and released her grip on the dagger. She didn't want a fight. "My name's Myna," she replied belatedly. "I came up here to investigate the pollution of the water."

"Indeed. It is an odd site to see a body drift down stream. Even in this age of violence you rarely see such a sight." Nicolas relaxed a little and release his hand from his sword. Knowing he did not have to fight at least one of the three was a relief. He moved slowly so that his back was to the woods. He was now facing all three women.

"Yes I will admit the pollution from the new cities is not good. Makes it hard for those who rely on nature to provide. Not to mention the local wild life." He shook his head as he spoke. He hoped to ease the tension a bit. If nothing else shift the focus away from himself. He waited a reply from the ladies.

Rokka nodded in agreement. "Yes, it is very horrorible to see trees and animals die because of selfish humans." Rokka sighed and shook her head. "Anyways, I better go before this might turn bad, with the other girl tempeting me to kill her on the spot by throwing a dagger at me." Rokka started to walk away from the others but she stopped and looked over her shoulder. "The name's Rokka." and with that she coutined to walk away.
