The tiny orange lizard sat in front of a mirror. She retch up, touching her features, fingers lightly rolling over her scales. She retch down, picking up an odd object from her table. The lizard slipping it onto a hook from her piercing that seemed to be hammered into her head, then let it dangle in the hair, reflecting the light that blasted through the window to the right. Zana stood, adjusting her breast cups, then moving her skirt around a bit before waking out of her home and out into the sun. The massive grey hound barked at her, his tail wagging as he watched his master walk down the wooden steps.
The object that hung from her piercing shimmered in the suns light, "Beautiful....isn't, oola?" she asked, looking at the dog quietly, then off to a figure in the distance(your character xP)
and thus began a story of life, and death. For what Zana, nor anyone else, didn't know was that the stars thirst to be together, once again.

The figure in the distance was a young woman who was peering curiously at a fence not too far off from the road. There wasn't anything particularly interesting about the fence, but the girl seemed fascinated. A small pad of paper was in one hand, a pencil in the other, maiden was scribbling dark grey against white paper with a vengeance. It was hot outside that day, so Liza was wearing pink sandals, blue-jean shorts, and a light pink blouse. Her blue hair was up and our of her face, wrapped into a ponytail with a simple scrunchy.
At her knees sat a young wolf, serious grey eyes following her field of vision, his ears twitching about at the different sounds. No leash was attached to him, but he did wear a hand woven collar, white in contrast with his fur. Neither the wolf, nor his master had noticed Zana yet.

Oola barked a bit at the figure in the distance, the massive grey hound took to the running. only in moments did he reach the wolf and his owner. Zana blinked, then jogged after her dog, calling out his name a few times. "Oola!"
The dog sniffed at the wolf curiously, then Zana grabbed him by the scruff of his neck, pulling the dog back. The lizard woman looked curiously at the girl, peeking over her shoulder at the pen and pad before slinking back. "Sorry to intrude your work!"

(Oh! I never asked, is it normal to be part animal in this universe, or is Zana a special case?)
An incomplete replica of the fence had been sketched down on the paper in Liza's hands. The picture seemed warped somehow, almost impressionistic, but the drawing was realistic enough to define the fence's ordinary features. Liza looked up in surprise, blinked, then glanced towards Zana. She was quiet, as if the girl hadn't heard Zana's apology. Softly Liza tucked the hand pad into one pocket, then made to clasp her tanned hand with Zana's. "Wow...can...can I...sketch you?" She asked, her expression shinning back at Zana with pure hope.
The wolf had taken several steps backwards through Liza's legs, sniffing back at Oola. One ear twitched, he sneezed, then sat back down on his haunches as if to say 'alright, he's clean.'

[its normal! you can change the character if you want, jut tell me if you do~]
Zana blinked in surprise, then let go of Oola as he rolled around in the grass lazily.
"well....I don't see any harm in doing so." She said in a matter-a-fact tone of voice before standing still for the human. "mind if I ask for your name? And why were you...sketching that fence...? Not to be snooty." Her orange fins shifted a bit, her tail swaying from side to side.

"Oh I sketch everything" She explained merrily, already rummaging through her backpack to retract a large sketchbook and a fresh stick of charcoal. "My name's Liza." She didn't ask for Zana's name, or more she didn't think to ask as the girl had already fallen into a squat and began the most basic sketches of Zana's outline. "I wont be able to do the colors of course, don't have my paints with me but...oh wow! Umm.." she paused to look up. "Thanks, by the way. A lot of people get freaked out and tell me no."
The wolf walked over to Oola and sniffed him again, curiously. *friend?*

Zana listened closely then smiled. "well that's very interesting," then she laughed, "I don't see why they would be so scared, maybe take it as a compliment at the least!" Zana's frill shifted to a side. If Liza was observant, she would see an off figure dangling from the side of Zana's face. it shimmered in the light, reflecting a few light speckles on the fence line.
"You'd be surprised," Liza murmured, pausing for a few moments to become entranced by the jewelry hanging from the side of Zana's face.
"How did that happen?" She asked, gesturing to the piercing. "Did you do it yourself? It looks wonderful...." Her words trailed off softly even as her fingers increased in speed. The sketch on the page was beginning to develop the same dream-like style as her fence sketch had taken on. With one look the picture appeared to be some kind if strange blurr, with a second it came across too detailed, and as she continued to work if someone looked a third time they would begin to see the actual design forming on the page.

Zana retch up, touching the gem quietly. "I suppose i would be...." Zana smiled down at the drawing (I might have to draw it myself! n_n ) "It is quiet pretty!" she cheered.
Now, off in another....place, there was a lady of discord, and chaos. No, not a Greek goddess, but a demon.the woman was easily 8 ft tall, with long white hair, leaving her upper body exposed and wearing a white loin cloth. She looked at her nails quietly before walking over to a bath of blood. Looking into it, the image of Zana and Liza showed up, and her star. "My STAR!" she cried, the hair standing on the back of her neck.
The two of them would feel a light chill. Zana rubbed her arms.

"Thank you," Liza blushed, preparing to put her charcole away. Then she stopped mid-motion, as a cold shiver ran through her body. "Wha...what was that?" She asked, dropping her drawing stick to wrap both arms tightly around herself. The picture lay balanced in her lap.
The wolf paused in his playfullness almost instantly and trotted over to Liza, nuzzling her with his wet nose.
