I stumbled upon a little thing that I've found useful when creating, and especially drawing, my characters. This BMI visualizer helps you decide height and weight on your character, and gives a visual example of how they'd look, both female and male.
I didn't know where to put this, but I found this forum to be the most suitable since my post is somewhat related to creating characters.

Hello Cinders!
This is a great find! It seems like even if you weren't using it for a character, it'd be fun to mess around with the sliders for a while.

Interesting! There are a couple of photo projects out there, too, that have taken pictures of folks of differing heights, weights, and builds, so you can get a comparison of how different people wear different weight. It's fascinating how two different people can be the same height and weight, and yet their bodies might look completely different.
Me, I've mostly given up on defining weights for my characters, just height and build. Weight seems too nebulous to me and doesn't really describe much in the end of the day. And, well, when you start trying to factor in bone density and muscle mass and wings for, say, a female gryphon warrior, it's just... it's hard to say.
