Hey! I'm kinda new to the RP Repository, I just sort of added a character here and left it alone until recently. Now that I've got my characters all on, I'm about ready to rp, I just need a little bit of help getting started, since I'm used to RPing through chat rooms and not forums. I don't really have a genre in particular that I RP, I just jump at what I find interesting. That being said, I've got a few ideas up my sleeve that I've been holding onto, but again, I'm new here and don't know many people. For now, I'm just gonna be wandering around trying to get a good grip of this place, until then please be patient with me, I hope you enjoy RPing with me just as much as I enjoy RPing with you!

You made a perfect start creating your characters. The best way to find RP is to browse the Looking for RP forum or use the RP Finder to narrow down your search. If you find a concept that appeals to you, pick a character and let them know you're interested in playing with them with that character.
They'll let you know if they want to play, and then you can get started on one of the public RP forums, private messages or in a group, whichever you and your RP partner prefer.
We also have the options to turn any forum topic and any PM into a live chat. Just find the big red "Launch Chat" button or link and it opens up a window that live-updates when new forum posts are made. The advantage is that all messages are stored forever for easy reference while allowing real-time chatting.

Hi Welcome to RPR. I've found that there wasn't much difference for me between forum RPing and chat RPing - except the greater time lag, that is. I'm sure you'll do fine If you end up wanting some help, most people around here are happy to help if you message them with a request.
