A girl with firey hair ran on all fours away from another clan trying to get her again. She was grabbed by the hair and lefted up to face who grabbed her. "Well, well, looky what I have. A rare Fire Lombax, hmmm. What to do with you~." The male lombax purred examing the girl. "Nothing, that is what." The girl growled and bit his arm, making him howl out in pain and letting her go. She fell to the ground and ran on all fours again. She ran into a tree and climbed up it and sat on a thick branch that looked like it wouldn't break under her weight. She leaned her back against the base of the tree and started to catch her breath.
A young girl with long blue hair held up in pigtales was near by a river practing her waterbending when she heard the painful howles of some unknown creature. She filled up her cantine with water and ran towrds the sound making sure that no human was hurt. She stumbled across a girl with red hair bitting down on what she supposed was the source of the howling. She stayed behind the tree knowing what the girl was. The flame-like girl was a Fire Lombax, something that she had only heard of in legands.
The girl finaly caught her breath and jumped out of the tree and walked to a near by river, she hated water but only when she would get wet. She cupped her hands and got some water out of the stream and brought up to her lips and drank it. Her ears twitched at ever sound.
The blue haired girl stayed behind the tree wide eyed as she watched the Fire Lombax in disbelife. She did not dare to move or breath or she may be seen. She remembred in the legand that they hated water so she held her hand out guiding a few drops of water from the river to the Fire Lombax's face, hoping to scare off the girl.
The girl wiped the water off her face and stood up. She turned around to see who did that, her hair looking like the tips were on fire when she moved. "Come out, you should know better than mess with me right now." She growled at whoever got her wet. She glared at the spot of blue hair. "Come out!" She demanded.
The girl carfully opened her water bottle and took some out, ghe cool water wrapping itself around her hands. She cautiosly stepped out from behind the tree, her hands in fists out infront of her. "I'm right here." She said in a hushed voice, as if the slight loud noise would she the fire like girl off.
The girl glared at the female that came out. "You should learn your place. Do. Not. Mess. With. Me. And we won't have any problems, alright?"The girl growled. The girl's hands were balled up in fists and light up with fire; the same color as her short hair. She was annoied enough to go a fight the water girl infornt of her but she had enough sense no too.
"I have no intention to fight, just to nearly scare you away. My village is near by and if they catch you, you'll be drowned." She put her water back into her cantine and put her hands up as a sign of peace.
The girl unballed her hands and the fire blew out. "Then why are you trying to help me? If your clan wants me dead then why don't you help them out?" This girl was not one for cofusion, and right now she was confuse as crazy.
"I do not belive in killing people personally, but my tribe does." She walked over to the girl and extended her hand, feeling safe to approch her. "My names Akua, but you can call me Aqua." She gave her a frendly smile.
The girl examed Akua's hand before shaking it. "I'm Taika." Tai said and gave a shy smile then let go of Akua's hand. "Why does your clan want me dead?" Tai's white lobmax ears twitched along with her tail.
"Superstition." Aqua replied while rolling her eyes. "They belive that your kind will wipe out the water benders."
"My kind? You have to be kidding, fire lobmax's are rare." Tai sighed, remembering she might never find another of her kind.
"Yes, its because of your rareness that they think so."
"My rareness? God, why does it have to be always because I am rare." Tai sighs.
Aqua laughed slightly and took of her shoes. She walked over to the river and dipped her feet in.
Tai, sat cross legged next to Akua. "Why do you stay with your clan if you don't agree with their ways?"
"I'v wanted to leave for years, but I don't know how I'd manage on my own." Aqua sighed and looked at her own reflection in the water.
Tai smiled at that. "I can help you! I've been able to be on the run from my clan and others since I was fiftteen."
"Really? I can't go someone checking up on me for five minutes!" Aquas eyes widened. "You have to hide, now." She grabed her arm and started to run.
