I have a new character that I would like to use in a roleplay. Ariel Dame, she is a former circus acrobat and user of backwards magic. It can be 1 x 1 or in a group. 2-3 sentences is preferred. It would be set in the modern world where magic exists but is kept a secret from most to protect magicians from those who might try to harm them. Fairies, pixies, sprites, centaurs, and satyrs/fauns are allowed.
Ideas
1) Opal Academy. One of the last safe havens for young magic users to learn how to use their magic and be able to learn how to fit into society.
2) After stopping in a town Ariel meets -a person around her age-

~ People who hunt and capture magic users
~ Magicians of assorted types

Magic is rare. Some of the players might have it. There may be sages or other magical figures that could be sought out for tutelage.
Modern
Unrest may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat may be summarized.
