She quickly opened the door...her makeup was running

Acetin went in for a hug.

She hugged back and sobbed

"Are you ok?" He asked sympathetically.

"Am I ok?-Am I ok!?-AM I OK? My mother just died!"

"That was a stupid question..." He said. He just squeezed her in his embrace for a moment, giving her a shoulder to cry on.

" I'm scared" she whimpered like a child

"Hey. It's alright." He said, trying to reassure her. "She could be alright still. Let's just wait for the call. He walked her over to her couch to wait for the phone call. He held on to her tight, trying to comfort her as much as possible.

"....she was hardly ever there....and yet....she was always there ....for me"

"Want to talk about her?" He asked softly. It always made people feel better to tell someone how great someone else was.

She sniffles "s-sure"

Acetin sat next to her, holding her in his embrace when she needed it, and listening intently to her as she talked about her mother and how great she was. He looked her right in the eyes as she talked, something he didn't do much.

As she finished her breathing began to slow...and soon enough she fell asleep on his shoulder.

Acetin stayed sitting next to her, letting her sleep. He was relieved to have calmed her down enough that she was able to sleep. He rested his head on hers and just relaxed for a while.

She snores

"aww, she's so cute when she sleeps" he said quietly to himself.

She snores and buries her head in his neck

After a couple minutes of acetin's just sitting there, he nearly dozes off as well. As he is about to fall asleep, he suddenly hears the phone ring. Not wanting to wake up diana, he sat there and waited for Diana's dad to pick up the phone.

The phone oddly never rings

Acetin began thinking about how long it is taking for the hospital to call back. 'If this was an emergency, then wouldn't they get the call ASAP?' He thought to himself drowsily as his head began to nod. He rested his head on hers and fell asleep.
