"It's not that easy. You have to go in there..." he pointed at the double doors of the Guild, both of which were marked and spelled against vampires, "and then go up a fight of stairs or four, and then you'll only reach the Guild Master's attendant. Who is also a damn good hunter. I mean, you can try to weasel your way in, but don't come running to me when you're doused in holy water and garlic."

Kai crossed his arms and turned to walk away. Just then he heard feet running towards him and he flinched and turned--just as three round objects were hurled in his direction. There was only one person who would play such a cruel joke on him--and it wasn't his friend Saiyan. "Relan," he muttered darkly--trying to decide if he should step out of the way of the holy water balloons.

Emily bared her sharp teeth in her cat form. She looked away from the guys to only turn. Her eyes flickered red and a light went off. She growled in her tiger form and she jumped at the guy. She pinne him to the ground. Her sharp claws cut in his arm and she was ready to kill.

Alex walked in and looked astonished " Emily get your hands away from him. " he said grabbing a wooden stake and running at Emily. Emily looked up and she remembered te memories but this was not her boy fiend. He was the one who killed her ex. " how do you know my name
" she snarled. Alex looked " I remember that night and you are dieing like him "

Kai sidestepped the holy water balloons, wincing as the water splash him still, and then Emily turned full-on tiger. "Emily!" he yelled at her, just as one of the guys went down--pinned beneath her. "Look out!"

The one who ran at her with a stake, seemed to stop and talk...but a third member of the squad broke free and ran at them. Kai leaped into a flurry of action--grabbing the other Hunter's arm before he could stake anyone. He was faintly surprised by how easy it was to hold the Hunter's arm, even knowing it was Ralen's...

"You're a vampire?!" Ralen spat, and for the first time, Kai heard fear in his tormentor's voice.

Kai smiled. "That hurt, you know."

Emily snarled at Alex and the roared sending him far away. She bent down and sent her fangs in his neck. " I am not letting you live " She sucked him bone drie.

Alex saw this and threw the stake at her. It went right into her neck. Emily screamed and rolled off of the guy.

Kai wanted to run to help Emily, but Ralen was no easy match either. He might have been able to stop one hand with a stake--but Ralen had another hand and it held a spherical object that sloshed a little.

"I saved one just for you, in case you managed to avoid the other ones," Ralen sneered, and smashed the holy water balloon into Kai's chest.

Blistering hot pain seared through Kai's body and he flung Ralen aside in order to get away from it. The Hunter landed a few feet away, heavily, but still very much alive and now pissed.

Kai was screaming and clawing at himself, trying to get the water off. Just as another of Ralen's group attacked him from behind. Damn it, I knew this was going to happen, Kai thought, bracing himself for the stake through his heart.

Emily opened her eyes " l-lizzy " She said as she saw a orange headed girl running for them. She closed her eyes and then sighed

Lizzy ran and turned into a dragon. Her orange and red scales would easily distract anybody. She swooped down and pushed Kai away. She stood up and blew fire. Setting lots of men on fire to die.

He could hear screaming...and he saw fire...and he felt pain. But none of it seemed to be coming from him, or affecting him. Strange. Wasn't he supposed to burn to ash when staked?

And then he realized there was a third 'person' in the mix. And then alarm bells were ringing in the town as the call for "fire" went out.

"W-we gotta get out of here, now!" he gasped, trying to orient himself in the chaos. "Emily? Emily!" He had lost sight of her.

Lizzy opened her wings and grabbed Emily. She then grabbed Kai. She flew to safety and then a mist arose around Emily. Emily gasped for air and looked at Lizzy " why are you here? " she said turning into a human. Lizzy slapped Emily in the check. " next time use your real vampire form! " Emily looked at her " nobody would have lived " she said before Lizzy flew off. Fealing blood drip from her neck she fell to the floor

[ I am so good at helping! ]

Kai slumped next to Emily, his hands going to her neck where the stake had grazed her. "You going to be okay?" he asked her anxiously.

"Should I get, er, should I feed? Should you?" he asked, wondering if that would help either of them. And for that matter, would it be possible after the hullabaloo they'd raised earlier in the village.

Emily turned to meet his gaze. Her neck still bleeding " I dont know " She looked at him. Her eyes turning silver but it wasn't bad. It showed her real form. It was terrifying. She had long silver hair, Her eyes were even reder. And she wore something that many would be scared of

Kai looked at her, but any fear that he might have shown was hidden by his concern. He didn't care what she looked like; she was a shapeshifter and he assumed this was one of her many forms.

"Your hair and eyes...are you sure you're okay?"

Emily snapped back into her reular purple hair formed " I never wanted you to see my like that. Even just softly. I could have killed you. " She said then putting her head on his leg and crieing " And then you would never love me "

Kai gently ran his hands through Emily's hair, for all it's strange colors and length that it shifted to. He gently raised her face towards his until she looked up at him.

"Please don't cry," he said. "I've already lost too many things today to need to worry about losing another..." He tried to convince himself that his eyes were not filling up with tears.

Emily sighed and then her tears vanished. She stood up " but i can't. I have to get away from you. I am dangerous. "

"And depriving yourself of joy is going to solve, what, exactly?" His tone was scathing, even as he felt the tears begin to fade. He wasn't going to cry after all.

"Depriving yourself of what you want and desire is what will get you hurt and make you kill more." He looked away, feeling as though he was forseeing an event. His fingers twitched and he pressed them against his lips unconsciously.

Emily looked " You have never seen me! You have only seen a fake stupid person! You would kill me if you saw my real form! I would kill myself because i am different! You have a life ahead of you but i dont! I DON'T! " She said screaming, mixed up with tears. Her hair started turning silver

Kai spun and grabbed her, his eyes burrowing angrily into hers. "Then show me what you really are! Because up until this point you've been hiding and lying about yourself. Show me!" he demanded.

Emily sighed, she smacked his cheek. She stood up and flew into a tree. Her fathers words appeared softly in the breeze ' Wants she is turned into it wants. It is hell for everybody '. A huge red light went off into the tree. She stepped down her red eyes even worse. She then walked out her hair completly silver. Her body more matured. Her voice changed " Little child is this really who you want to see. A killer? " She came back and smacked him in the cheek and turned around. She wore a tight shirt and a short skirt

He was startled when she slapped him, and his cheek stung as he watched her walk away and leap into the tree. Her figure changed again, as did her voice and he took a step back.

Her second slap knocked some sense into him. When she turned her back to him--he reacted. He pounced on her, his arms locking around her chest, preventing her from walking away.

"If you're a killer, so am I." He said into her ear. "Were we not made for each other? Did we not face unsurpassable odds and escape?" He kissed the spot on her neck where she'd been hit by the stake.

Emily felt this but this was her true vampire. She punched him in the stomach knocking him to the ground. Her red eyes looked at him as he fell. She had no pasion for him in this form. All she knew is that he was in love with her and not with her iner form.

She looked at him " Why dont you go kiss the real Emily when she comes back. I'm not her and at this moment i probaly will never act like her in this form. "
