Emily shock her head " no, i like i can't it would be to hard " she said placing the notebook down in the rumble. She looked at him and then a single tear fell from her eye. Those memories rentering her mind. The day her father died. When she killed her mother, it was to crazy for her here. She turned and walked out the door. She sat down on the rocks and looked at the towns people. So many she rembered

Kai sighed as Emily left. He looked at the notebook then at the doorway. Well, if she couldn't tell him and he couldn't read minds, the notebook was as close as he would get.

"Alright, but you gave your permission," he muttered, opening the book to the first page and beginning to scan. He could be a quick reader when he needed to be, and given the size of the notebook it wouldn't take him very long.

Emily just looked at the people.

The notebook had picutres drawin by Emily's father. They were mostly in her regular form and then her inner form. It would talk about the difference and then the story Emily wrote when she was so young. It contuined about Emily and her father and then a jeoulse prince came and killed her father. He ruled with Emily but then he ran off and there was no king. Until once person who was a prince came and ruled with Emily. He was nice, brave, strong, and got her for who she was. It had her fathers words in it ' let him go, i told you to. ' ' this is more then what you can do, run ' It had many more like this and then pictures of her and her father. It had Emily when she was so young playing having fun

Kai shut the book and set it aside. He closed his eyes for a moment, feeling like he'd just had a really intense look into someone's private life. A history he knew nothing about, but now knew too much. Would it help his relationship with her? Only time would tell.

He softly walked to the doorway and peered out to check on Emily. She seemed lost in thought and he didn't want to distract her. But not all thoughts were good.

He sat down beside her, quietly offering her the only thing he could: his presence.

Emily turned and looked at him. " You read it? " She then twirled her long purpleish/silver hair. She looked at the rocks. So many things here. Death, hope, survival, everything she was trying to hide from for so many years. Entered back into her mind but there was still a light that was pure. And it was the person next to her, Kai.

Kai nodded. "I'm sorry; I had no idea what you went through." A pause. "I'm here if you need anything. Just let me know." He looked back at her and then put his arm around her, drawing her close.

Emily looked at him and rested her head on his shoulder. " its alright i just wanted you to know so you can just know. But i haven't told you everything. " She pulled away and walked into the rock house. She grabbed a smaller notebook and gave it to him " Mostly about her " She said still looking down at herself but she rested her head back on his shoulder

Kai opened it to the first page, shifting the book to his left hand so he could wrap his other arm around Emily. "Do you mind if I read it now? Or would you prefer I read it another time?"

If she had no objections, he would turn the page and continue reading.

Emily looked " I don't care "

It mainly showed what she looked like and her powers. Some were stories and others were information about her. Her father wrote " How to make her become her inner vampire. She has a crystal necklace and wants her crystal necklace is removed she is turned into her inner vampire. "

Kai couldn't help it. He glanced at her crystal necklace, curious and wary. There was obviously a reason though that she had the crystal in the first place. Perhaps that inner vampire wasn't quite as...friendly, as she seemed.

But that could have been his inner vampire hunter talking. And was he not the same? Granted had he remained a vampire hunter, he would not have hesitated to stake Emily--all the more easily now that she was within reach of him; but just the mere thought was repulsive to him. He sighed and closed the book

"Alright, I think I got a feel for your circumstances. I'm sorry you had to go through so much." And here he thought vampires had it easy. Stay hidden; drink blood; repeat. Apparently not.

Emily looked at him " its alright you really never knew. But rember only use my inner vampire in bad times. She will not come out if you just want to talk "

Kai raised an eyebrow. "Really? You don't say. Is there a reason you keep her locked away?" Obviously there was, but he wanted to know why.

Emily looked " she is not me. She is a killer. She would try to kill you because I can't control her. She has a mind of her own "

"Oh. Well then, if I ever want to die, I guess I know by whose hands it will be."

He offered a smile, trying to gentle his comment, and then turned back to look at the scenery.

Emily glared at him angirly (gtg)

Kai glanced at her. "What? I was...guess it wasn't funny. Sorry." He stood up and stretched.

"I think I'm...hungry. Or thirsty. I can't tell which it is."

Emily sighed and stood up. She twirled and turned into a tiger." Come on " she said impatiently. We was getting hungry and this was the fastest way because of him only drinking blood once it would make him weak

"Uh, sure... Lead the way oh fearless leader." He feigned a smile and stood back. He was hungry--but it wasn't any hunger that affected his stomach. It was a gnawing hunger that weakened him slowly.

Emily didn't have time for this. She swept his feet with her tail and made him fall. She caught him and took off into the woods. She was fast and stopped as a trap went off...

"Wha-?" He was unprepared for her to grab him and run, but he clung to her, afraid that if he let go he would fall.

And then he felt the strange jarring sensation as she stopped suddenly. "What happened?" he asked, opening his eyes to look around.
