He looked down at her motionless, changing body and then prodded her with his boot.

"That doesn't answer my question, and I'm not choosing for you. I want to know what your decision is. Weres and us go free or linger here while I work my way up the chain to Master vamp?"

Emily felt his boot touch her " hey! Careful " She said standing up woobly. " I dont know like i said " She started to walk off and turned into a tiger and took off through the forest

"Well, I guess that's my answer then." He climbed a tree, deciding to wait out the Weres attacks before climbing back down. Until, he recalled that if they attacked everyone, there wouldn't be anyone to feed on.

"Ah hell," he muttered, and chased after Emily. "Hey! You really don't want to do that! If all the weres get out and feed on people, then we'll have no one to feed on but wolves--and I don't know about you, but Weres have horrible taste."

Emily heard him coming and stopped. She snarled barely looking at him " Kai, you've changed. I can't trust anybody now. Even you " She said before jumping into a tree and looking at him

Kai followed her into the tree. "And you haven't, Emily?" He wasn't afraid of her. "You're a shapeshifter. You change constantly. How am I to know which is the real you? Me? I'm still...Kai. A little more bloodthirsty than you might remember, but still the same physical body." He grinned.

Emily shock her head " you'll never be the real Kai as long as you are in this form. Never " She said snarling and tears fell from her eyes

Stop it; stop hurting her! the Inner Hunter yelled out.

For a moment Kai's eyes flickered briefly, and then the black began to fade back to green.

"Remember what I warned you of before..." the vampire snarled, before the Hunter emerged. And Kai nearly lost his grip on the tree branch and fell. Only a quick windmilling of arms saved him from overbalancing, and he clung tightly to the branch, his green eyes wide and...frightened?

"I'm so, so, sorry, Em.... I tried to fight him, but he was too strong." He looked down, upset with himself.

Emily sat on the tree branch and then got Kai down. She placed him down and laid down not talking to him. She cleaned her paw

He felt much better with solid ground beneath him, though he had a vague feeling he was forgetting about something important...

"Emily, I'm really sorry." He sighed and rubbed his hands through his hair. "It's been a huge mess ever since I got turned. I should have staked myself when I had the chance."

Emily looked " you should have not. You made a good desicion. You are important to me but its like you change into a worse person. I just can't trust the other side of you and my inner side was starting to like you but now shes regretting it "

"What did you expect me to change into?" Kai shot back. "I was turned from a Hunter into a vampire! There really isn't a whole lot for personality to improve there--and I wasn't the most loved either as a Hunter."

He turned his back to Emily, breathing hard and blinking back tears. "If you wanted a nice guy...you'd want my mentor, Sterling. But he's only nice to humans. He stakes vampires with glee."

Emily growled at him " you didn't follow on the days we were traveling. That I loved you! " tears fell from her eyes " Do you think it's easy! I thought you were finally getting me! " she said jumping into a tree

"Finally getting you?" Kai echoed. "I got that part; I like you too, but you've only just met me. How can you possibly infer all of what--who--I am when I don't even know that myself?"

Kai rubbed his temples, getting a headache. Maybe it was a reaction to the blood; he didn't know.

Emily turned away from him. " Until you relize yourself i cant help you. I dont know if your going to kill me or not " She said as she looked away and she put her cross on. She threw the crystal necklace she had to him

Anger and hurt flickered in Kai's face. She had been the one to turn him in the first place, and now she was throwing him away? Well, hadn't he and Sterling talked about how Day Walkers always seemed to be without a purpose?

He stood up and brushed himself off. His eyes turned black as the inner Hunter locked himself away. "Just remember, when the werewolves unloose themselves, you'll be responsible for unleashing hell onto the world."

He stormed off into the woods.

Emily sat in the trees and turned into a cat. She cried and cried as she felt lonely like before with nobody. Her cries echoed through out the forest. She stood up and jumped into a higher branch

Kai hadn't gotten very far before the cries of a cat reached his ears. He didn't stop and turn around. She had had her chance; and she had tossed him aside.

He scowled when three dark shapes dropped in front of him. The Masters, he knew. "You did not stop her?"

Kai shrugged. "What was I supposed to do? Lie to her? Encourage her? She makes up her own mind. I can't do anything about it. Now if you don't mind,I have a feeding binge to settle."

The Masters said nothing, did nothing, to stop him. But he could feel their eyes on his back and he knew without a shadow of a doubt that they would be able to find him anywhere.

Emily did not look at anybody. She turned into a wolf and howled

( okay that fits perfectly. Do you want her to know about Kai still or no? )

Scarlett walked into the forest smelling vampires and a used to be hunter
"Shit why does there have to be blood suckers here!" she growled as her eyes turned red and she grabbed the stake out of her boot even if she was a werewolf elemental. she walked up to one of the vampires and growled holding the stake " well.. well .. well a former hunter turned into a vampire what a shame I will have to kill you now just because you are a a vampire and used to be a hunter " she growled and opened her hand showing a flame in her hand. " looks like the hunter should of brought back up"
